Just wondering if there has been an official announcement from OSS regarding their shutting up shop?I recall a thread a few weeks ago, in which they said they were preparing an official statement about it. Just wandering if I have missed it, or if anyone knows where it will appear?My interest stems mainly from the fact that I have their fantastic Shoreham scenery, and I am keen to know about how they will furnish us with a permanent key or whatever.Such a shame when talented developers don't feel they can carry on.I was dreaming of owning their Dornier, I wish I'd saved all the screenshots before they were taken off their site, just so I could admire it on the screen for…

I am looking for a free flight planner called FSBuild 1.4.3 but it seems to have dissapeared from the internet. If I can't have that then I would really like a free flight planner where I can just type in my current position and destinaton (KEDW-KLAX). Thanks John

Okay, I hit the scenery.cfg entry limit again... poor management on my part, I guess. That or plain old ignorance...So, I'm in the process of "converting" to a multiple scenery.cfg setup... but I still have some questions the more experienced of you might be able to help me with.1. Is there any disadvantage to putting all UTUSA/AK/Alaska files in one folder? Assume that I plan on using certain city/area photosceneries in addition to the UTUSA-type stuff and will have those folders located ABOVE(higher priority) the UTUSA folder. (I'm planning on one Voz-NZ scenery.cfg, another for Europe, another for Africa/S. America, another for East Asia, etc... I do relatively little …

Hi all,Question ??...I am using FSAutoStart along with Flight Enviorment...my question is: If I start Flight Simulator with the "Fly Now" button in Flight Enviroment after selecting a senario in the Randomiser section, the Flight Simulator will start just fine and the senario for weather is there....now how can I activate FSAutoStart once I have Flight Simulator up and running.....so I quess what I want to do is to be able to have them both activated an running at the same time.Any help greatly appreciated !JimMesa, Arizona

Hallo AvsimmersSince I bought some add-ons I have a lot of trouble on the aitports.I have FSQuality, Fs Traffic 2005, German Airports 1-3-4, Spanish Airports, Austrian Airports and a few some more.The problem is that by starting FS2004 the airplane is standing on the wrong location. Not at the gate or on a parking sport but just somewhere. The same is going on with mine AI-traffic i think from Traffic 2005.Some airplanes are hanging just in the air. (f.e. on Zurich Kloten)I think it has too do with te bgl files, but witch one?Please help and tell me what to do.Thanks

Hello,I have read the forum entries for fps problems but still have some questions.I am a reasonably long time user of FS and have a reasonable knowledge of it's inner workings.I fly the Flight1 ATR & PMDG B738, both in the VC.I use WideFS so addon programmes such as RC4 are not on the FS PC.My fps are locked at 24 and with all sliders maxed with no ai I hit 24 consistantly with minor fluctuation. As soon as I introduce ai my fps drop to between 1 and 5. The london area EGLL/EGKK/EGLC is a complete no fly zone with ai switched on. Even at say 50% it is poor to unflyable.I use Ultimate Traffic and have a mix of PAI and other ai although the majority is PAI. I do not us…

Hi,Hope someone can explain this for me:I am SW of EGCC just going over WHI NDB, heading 015 for a CLEARED ILS landing on 6R and the tower gives me "Make left Traffic, runway 6R" - where should I go? First time I tried it I just went for the runway and got told "not cleared to land"...CheersMike

Hi, all.I registered for the forums on the Ultimate Traffic site, but I'm still waiting for the activation email, and I need help. Maybe someone here knows the answer, or can post the question on the UT forums for me.I'm trying to generate a timetable based on departures from various airports, and it's not completing. It gets as far as the message "Evaluating and Creating Frequency Field; Percentage Complete: 65%" and then the program seems to hang. I recompiled the database, and I even selected a remote departure airport (KORS - Orcas Island, WA) where there should be little or no scheduled departure traffic. Hello folks:I have almost decided to purchase the last version of Ground Environment Pro (plus Active Sky), but I wonder if there could besome compatibility issue regarding VOZ, as I am also interested on installing it with the arrival of the last update.Besides I want to ask a more general question, also somewhat related with the previous, but in a different way. When you have guest over and you want to show them what it is that you enjoy or show off your sim (home cockpit), I was wondering what general stuff do you set in the create a flight to do so?For me I like to use the default c172 with the XPGauges (T and N), and do it on a clear weather day at KHIO which is part of the FlightScenery Portland (prior to that it was their KPVD or the freeware BOston from George G.)I find the 172 easy for newbies to try and fly and the FlightScenery fields just showcase what can be done with scenery with no preformance hits.

Hello,I am Tinkering with my G550, and I want to add Logo lights...is this possible? The Logo (tail) does light up when I have the Landing Gear Lights on, but I want it Illuminated when I'm flying. Can somebody point me in the right direction. Thanks J.R. Duda

Has anyone been running the RC1 / RC2 of vista and have experienced any abnormal popping sounds during flight. I just started to have this problem a couple of days ago , and havn't up untill this time. I have been using vista for about 3 weeks or so and have not had this issue until now. Is it possible to adjust the speed of the flashing strobes at the end of aircraft wings, plus tail, and also the nav beacons on top of fuselage and underneath?On all my aircraft, the lights flash on and off far too quickly - it looks as though the sim is in warp mode!Any help with this would be appreciated.ThanksPaul

Hi,Is there a way that I can have formation flying (besides online). I am enjoying the V-22 at this time and would love to have 3 others flying with me and break away at our destination for landing, etc. I try to simulate it by creating a flightplan of another bird then catching up and flying with him. But this doesn't work very well as I don't know what channel he's tuned to and am not ready for his ascent/descent commands from ATC. NEWays, I just thought it would be a nice feature.Dolph

Hello All,I downloaded Bill Lyon's Grumman Goose. My PC's no scream machine, but I get 18 - 26 FPS with everything set the way I like it, depending on the aircraft I'm flying, for the most part. It's an Emachine, 1.8 GHZ, 512 RAM, Nvidia 6100.With most of Bill's airplane the frame rate drops to 10FPS. Here's the part that has me baffled. If I restart FS9 and use "Previous Flight" (if my previous flight was in the Goose) the frame rates are 18 - 20 FPS for approx 4 minutes then suddenly drop back to 9 - 10 FPS. Does this sound like a Windows issue, the way memory is used or allocated?Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and/or tips on how tweak Windows.ThanksDa…
