Hi,Something has happened to my ground textures all of a sudden.After flying for about ten minutes my ground textures become so blurry they are un recognisable...Dont know why this has started to happen.Could my graphics card be on its way out?I,ve got Ground Enviroment running but its been ok up untill about a week ago,I,ve also deleted any scenery I installed over the last few days and deleted my cfg and let it build a new one but to no avail......Any help or thoughts would be much appreciated.Thanks,Regards,Martin.

I've had the Dornier Do-27 for about a week now. I think I've tried just about everything out there. While I can't comment to the flight model's accuracy (who in the United States can?), this is in my opinion one of the finest packages I've come across.I did a VFR flight out of Pearson OR to take the river inland (the Dornier is equipped with only one VOR, and a flaky one at that). Weather conditions deteriorated rapidly about 30 miles in. After the rain and clouds socked me in, I started getting freezing conditions (rain plus -6 degrees C). Airspeed/VS/ and Altitude kinda screwed up so I knew the pitot/static system was screwed. I hit the heat, but started worrying…

Hello all ,As most off us hardcore simmers know the A380 uses only the 2 inner engines for thrust reverse . I need help ( if there is any )for the bautiful A380 from SMS.If i had loaded the plane and push the F2 button or anyfrom my joy who affects F2 the plane reverses just well.....only the inner left and right engine are reversing , so that

I recently did a clean install of Windows Xp followed by FS9. My ATC now says "Decimal" for frequencies: 124 decimal 5. I don't recall ever hearing this. For altimeter settings it sounds like they are trying to say QNH, though it is a bit choppy for that section now. I thought they used to say "altimeter", but what ever they are saying now is not what they used to.The only setting that I would think pertains to this is the units of measure, which I have set to U.S.What am I missing?!

Anyone know of a way to export FSX's Airport/Navaid Database and then updating FS9 with that info?

Win Vista will be released soon, but I got a copy early. Yes, I'm one of those MSDN people that test software and since I'm a hardcore flightsimmer, I thought I'd stir things up a bit early. Any thoughts on its immediate compatbility with FS9 and FSX? Please PMDG, Radar Contact, PSS developers etc et.al, feel free to jump in and respond anytime. A good day to all,After a full month of tweaks and modifications and 50 plus hours in the logbook with FSX I have returned to FS9 as my primary program. I found that even with all the settings a max I could not duplicate the outstanding visuals of FS9 with all my texture and scenery mods. I could not find a single place in the FSX world that didn't look as good or better to me in FS9. This is one mans opininon and many will disagree. I found that even with max settings in FSX the visuals did not match my FS9 installation. I've done two things this week which have improved FS9, I'm sure they've been posted before but just in case anyone with a similarly old set up to mine wants to squeeze the last drop of performance try these. Hi fellow simmers,I recently downloaded and installed 'Real Environment Pro' from avsim, installed the program, backed up my textures, and installed allthe new textures.I went for a few flights, and decided that the new water effects, and aircraft reflective aircraft shine were a little over the top for me, so I found the backup directorys in 'Microsoft GamesFlight Simulatator 9Texture Folder' and 'Microsoft GamesFlight Simulator 9SceneryWorldTexture' and replaced the new R.E.P ones with my originals.I have been for a few more flights since then, having re-installed the selected features of R.E.P that I like (sky, taxiways, lights), yet I still see the really reflective a…

hello I have the 182Q from carenado and have had it installed without a problem in the past. I don't know if it is my computer but it seems that the Project Opensky site seems to be intermently down, then the site comes up, but the forums are down, then the all of the functions are working, afterwards the site has been down. I type the URL and I am either then directed towards google or I get the "The Page cannot be displayed" message. I have seen planes added to avsim lately, but I am not sure what is happening on the site. Has anyone tried Project Opensky's site lately? Any info would be great.Thank You,Kurt.

As a follow-up to the thread of about a week ago, I just bought the Aerosoft Cheyenne and got it over the weekend. :-jumpy It's the turboprop I've been looking for for 3 years. I have others but this seems to be the real keeper. The most important aspect for me is the flight model. The others had several flaws, but this one is right on. I also enjoy a model that requires me to understand and operate properly all the aircraft systems; ala PMDG. The Aerosoft Cheyenne also excels here. I'm not really trying to plug here, but just to recognize a really superior payware add-on. Who says FS9 is dead? :D Mike

Hi all,I am putting this out after downloading the lovely Bahamas scenery from Freeflow which required an installation of MS Net 2.0. Let me exclude Freeflow from my rant because they are some real generous people and I am grateful to them. I am currently working on a viper block 40 & 50/52 Cockpit "A" & "C" model, something a little more realistic than what is offered, the artwork is mostly completed, but I need someone to develope script for the radio of the Viper....... and any other developments that we may incur, I am surprised that as many people that fly the Viper in flightsim havn't posted more about the pits they use to fly it..........
