Just tried it through FS9 and it looks like we're back in the "real" air:-jumpy

My RC v4.01 had developed a bad "studder" (from 10 seconds to 2 minutes) responding to a request. I keyed the "UPDATE" button within the rc4 and it came back, NO UPDATES AVAILABLE. This lead me to believe that I had the latest version...... WRONG. I went to the Radar Contact Fourm here and it gave a link to the next version, 4.02 which I downloaded and installed and the "studders" went completely away and now rc is working great ! Question, why did not the Update botton within rd4 advise me of the update ????? jerry

Hey all,When i first installed FS9 (3 weeks ago), i never encountered this issue, but now it is happening all the time. The situation is this: i take off from any airport, climb a bit, circle back towards the departure airport, and right before the airport comes into view, i get stutters and/or a one second pause. This happens with ANY airport, whether it is out-of-the-box or an add-on enhanced airport, AND it happens with traffic turned off. AFAICT, it doesnt' happen with destination airports, just ones that i take off from and circle. Again, this did not always used to happen. Let me share with you a good experience ! Positive vibes as we used to say...Reinstalling FS9, I discovered today that a saved copy of my Real Air SF 260 FS9 upgrade burnt on a DVD loooong ago was a dud. Within two hours on this Sunday afternoon, an email containing the specifics of my purchase got a very kind answer from Rob Young with a new link.These guys who were the first to introduce the silky smooth VC, spins and sideslipping in their aircraft have a gem of a support as well.Real Air you can't go wrong...Dominique

I have been using the Flight Simulator Manager by Ranainside for quite some time. I have amassed a gazilion airplanes in my hanger.The bad news is I just got a message "You are using an old version of FSM", and the program will not run. I tried to get a new version from the Ranainside.com web site but it no longer exists.Tell me "all is not lost" and how I can recapture all of my airplanes from the Hanger.

The main problem is me. I have no idea what's going on.UT Canada looks wonderful, but my auto-gen is gone. Where are all my lovely GR Pro placed houses?If UT Canada is tops in my scenery file ladder, I have no auto-gen. If I lower it too much, I have blurries and no auto-gen.Is there a way to get my wonderful auto-gen and still keep UT? What's the magic mix in all this? Any layering advice would be much appreciated. HiJust recently, i've suffered my first ever CTD and out of memory message on a relatively fresh installation of FS9. Problem was, it happened a couple more times - eventually i found that, according to task manager, FS9 had crashed having used 1.9gigs of ram !!!Sounded like the old memory leak issue. The only thing to do was to sequentially deactivate addons until my ram usage was at a decent level. This i done - eventually discovering that ultimate terrain europe was the culprit. Hi All:I don't know if I am in the right forum so if my question is in the wrong forum please point me to the right one. I finally got some AI working thanks to World of AI. What I would like to know is if I can change the ui_manufacturer= line in the aircraft config file without changing anything else? Also can I change the flight plan number in the config file without negating a flight plan assigned to the aircraft? Hope this doesn't sound dumb but I am new at this.Best RegardsRick

All of my downloaded airplanes( Prop or Jet), have the same problem. Shortly after take off, The airspeed goes to "0" and if I'm using autothrottle, the power goes to max. Any way to fix this.

The server http://fs2k.zone.com is up but I still cannot get real weather in fs9. Anybody else having this problem at this time?

For some reason my FS9 does not download real world WX anymore. I up dated my internet connection from SBC to AT&T could this be in the security thing. It says check my connection or settings. Any help would be nice.Scot

Hi there, for the last week my pc switches off completely whilst I am in FS9, about 5-10 mins into playing.It doesn't happen any other time, only when I am in FS9, has anyone else had this or can anyone suggest anything?Kind RegardsGavin Moss

I'm having a hard time finding any... I found one of delta, but i'm not too satisfied with it...i'd love express jet and also american eagle... and maybe some other ones... anyways, any out there? or anyone have a paintkit for it, so I can attempt to make something?

I posted this question on the TTools for MSFS forum, but there is not too much traffic there. So if I may...Is it possible when using an Ultimate Traffic Time Table flight to become that flight and replace the AI flight? For example, if I wanted to fly UAL flight# 947,which departs KIAD for KLAX at 17:45, can I delete the AI flight so that I can become that flight, leave at the scheduled time and not have two flights in the air with the same call sign and destination?I know I can always change the flight # or leave at a different time, but I've always wondered if I could replace the AI flight.Thanks in advance for any repliesJohn M

Hallo all :)My Captain Sim C130 was working fine until last night when the VC cockpit textures refused to load completely. So I finally got around to getting this scenery, and all I can say is wow! Finally scenery for Geneva Cointrin that actually looks like the real thing. I have zero framerate hit, and a beautiful airport to boot. Only problem I have found so far is that the airport scenery overrides the geneva city scenery, but there is a work around posted ont heir forums. I just havn't got around to that yet. Anyway, I highly recommend this addon for anyone who like me, loves to fly in and out of LSGG!

Hi All,Just a question I would like to ask all you simmers out there.Is it possible to get all the big web sites creating flightplans to come to an agreement so when making flightplans they dont do ones that have already been done by other sites?Many flightplans are being repeated three of four times or more, for instance, United Airlines, whilst others are left high and dry with no flightplans available.I think it would be a good idea to have one web page listing ALL the current worlds airlines and have links to the website that the flightplan is at. This way, a flightplan maker can look at this page and see if an airline has been done or not, saving many hours making on…

Sometimes when I add new textures to aircraft like the flightcraft A330 when I follow the instructions to add the textures to the aircraft and when I run flight simulator when I check the aircraft the textures don't appear. So I need more help adding textures to aircraft. Thanks!

Hello All, I had the occasion this evening to fly into KSLT, at night using the scenery from Gary Widup. I had installed this and his 2002 scenery some time ago, however, for some reason I had never landed at KSLT in the evening with lighting . . . what a nice suprise.Just wanted to take the time to thank Gary for all of his work, and efforts, as it was a absolutely delightful experience!
