I have been having this problem for a while now, everytime I fly over the crg vor or start a flight over craig mun in Jacksonville i get an instant ctd. I uninstalled fs freeflow and it solved the problem, now I re-installed it more carefully and I get the problem again, whats going on?

Hi all,I have GE Standard and is wondering if it is worthy upgrading to GE Pro. I don't want to spend another $20 just to see minor difference. Would like to hear those who has upgraded from GE Standard to GE Pro.Daniel

Hello everybody,I would like some info about the following...After some time flying the big ones, I returned to the turboprops like the dash 8-300 from PSS. I had, in the past also the Fanda Dash 8-300 freeware version. And although I liked the panel and systems on that one a lot, the visual model(s) that came with the freeware panel were not to write home about.Now I have been looking at the payware version of that Panel/aircraft but it seems I can't find any screenshot of the outside model. Question: is it up to the latest standards or are those the same visuals as in the freeware version?ThanksLuc Brusselmans

I have a dual boot setup with Win98 and WinXP (home) on two separate physical drives, the Win98 drive is FAT32 and WinXp drive is NTFS. What i would like to do is move my pagefile to the the Win98 drive so it is on a separate drive from my FS9 setup. Can i put a winXP page file on a FAT32 drive? Thanks!!

Does anyone know what I can do to get th numbers back on my autopilot display? The autopilot still works, but every number in the autopilot display has vanished in every FS2004 plane. I can't see my airspeed when I need to set it. I can't see my altitude or heading settings. It's just blank. I installed Pointsoft's BAE-146 from simmarket.com and that's when it happened. I assume it's just a little file missing or something missing from my aircraft cfg file. Any help would be so much appreciated. Thank you.

I just reinstalled FS9 and when I go to the settings the sliders don't show up. I cannot adjust anything such as sound, graphics, traffic, basically everything that can be set using the sliders. Now I have uninstalled and reinstalled four times and getting the same results everytime.Other than that, the games plays great, just need to do some adjustments. But without sliders that is unpractical.Thanks for the help!!!

HiI am using the KDTW Rwy12 Scenery for FS9 with the provided AFCAD.I get CTDs here in all cases, after some time (from secs to few minutes).I have checked:- Textures bad formats for sceneries and AI Planes- bad landclass file- checked the faults in AFCADThe pb still happens when I disctive the scenery. It seems to stop when I disable the AFCAD and use a default one.My guess is that it is related to the AFCAD...here is my AFCAD file, for those who want to have a look.Can someone please advise?Thank youGhiom

I have been testing times to 20,000ft, and have some interesting results. I threw in the 777 for good measure, and was surprised to see it beat by the prop planes. Especially interesting was the EP-3E, which has the same engines the C-130 has, only its much smaller and lighter, making it faster than many WWII fighers. I tested each plane empty, with just enough fuel to make it to 20k and back. Is there anyway to get rid of jagged edges around everything, besides using Antialasing.I have a Nvidia card and when I use the AA setting in the card I will get double panels. When I enable AA settings inside FS9 nothing happens with the jagged edges. Thanks for any help, Bob

On one of my aircraft I set the autothrottle which engages fine, but the "IAS" airspeed hold won't engage. I can click on the button and it flashes on for a second then goes off and I'm on my own with the airspeed. Any idea?

Hello.I am unable to login over at the FS Gateway forums so I'm hoping someone here can help me out.I have reinstalled FS9 on a new computer and have also reinstalled Edit Voicepack. But, the state that Edit Voicepack is currently in doesn't seem to pick up the few modifications that have been made to the current accelerated USEnglish sound file being used (copied over from the old machine)in FS9.Is there something special that has to be done to get Edit Voicepack to read the file correctly? I haven't updated it yet because I was affraid if I did that and saved it I would lose the other items that had been put int he soudn file previously.Can anyone offer any insight he…

I just purchased the 707 from the Captain Sim website. It took my credit card number and sent me a receipt. However, I got a message that their downloading server is not working correctly. It then gave me a link for an alternate server. However, when I punched in my order number and email address, I got a message back saying that the order number and email address are not associated with any purchase. I rechecked and reentered the numbers. Again, I got the same result. At 0820 I sent them an email by way of their support email address. Date: 2/11/07I will keep you posted.Suggestions?RH

I have noticed recently that everytime I switch views, either by the hat switch, or the "s" key on the keyboard, that the aircraft begins jumping. This occurs on the runway of course. I recently installed a nvidia graphics card and it has worked perfectly until now, any ideas??

I just wanted to put the word out there for those that are looking for some really nice planes to check out this package. It's $50 but well worth it. You get a really nice assortment of widebodies with nice animations and textures. The FDE's are the best I've found for my purposes. I've done very little tweaking to any of them. Maybe just decreased the fuel flow scalar a bit. These fly really nice and come with their own panels. Not the highest end panels but very adequeate and nice to look at. I'm always hesitant to pay for addons, but this is one that was a bargain for me. Check it out.

I have been downloading and using he Meljet 777 recently and nice they are to.BUT!When i am cycling through the views and get to virtual cockpit some of the models display nothing (which is fine thats what i want)but other models display not a VC but half a virtual cabin which you then have to move round with your hat switch to make it acceptable to look at.My question can i remove these cabin views completely i would rather have nothing at all.I have tried removing internal texture files but that just changes the virtual cabin views grey.Any thoughts please Cheers Andy

Hello,Just installed France VFR ST Barts/St Marteen - great scenery. One of the airports (TFFJ) has a valley in the main runway. I'm not good here so would this be a mesh problem? When you taxi down the runway, the aircraft does not follow the slope of the terrain. It goes way above the scenery as if the ground is at a much higher altitude than the visual scenery. The others are fine TNCM and TFFG.Any ideas here?Thanks in advance,Ron SagelNEAR KCHS

Just a comment here. I subscribe to Computer Pilot Magazine. I have been very disapointed in their so-called reviews for FSX. They have been hyping FSX since the demo came out,to the release before xmas and now, even though there have been so many people out there that can not run the program even on newer machines. I emailed them a few times but they didnt respond. If you look on Amazon for example, FSX only got 2.5 stars in the reviews.So Computer Pilot Magazine in my opinion is not a very good source for information,unlike this and other forums. They seam to have forgotten FS9, and they don't realize that FS9 is here to stay for a while.Anyhow, just venting here.
