After a long time I had a fkight with a Vistaliner 727-200 with the panel of Mitch. I was not able to control pitch with the autopilot. Help me, please, how can I do that!

Greetings All,I recently replaced a drive and reinstalled everything for FS.But I can't seem to fiqure out why both FSG and GE pro aren't showing in fs9.It looks like round piles of blotches.I have edited the conf file but not sure what the problem is.BTW UT shows up but it all looks horrible.ThanksBest regardsAndrewDamascus PaPS I am using the 3head2go now with a 7800GS

Now that Jeppesen no longer offers SimCharts except online for FSX, I was wondering what I should I use as an alternative? I've paid Jeppesen's for their v4.0, but it only interacts with FSX and I'm frustrated - I'm back to those frantic, "guess-where-YOU-are??" approaches from my first few days. I can open Jeppesen's outside of FS2004, but in FSX it used to tell me from which direction I'm approaching and how far away I was from the airport. (I know - I've been spoiled!)I'm fairly new, and just started when my step sons gave me FSX for Christmas. May just be wishfull thinking but I am having trouble accessing both Flight 1's and Dreamfleet's sites. Could it be they are uploading the Dreamfleet Archer III? I'd value your opinions on these three. Factors such as ease of learning, compatibility with Radar Contact, support, updates, forum activity etc.First cost is not important ... I expect to get a lot of use out of which ever I purchase.I have a very capable computer, but choose still to run FS9 rather than FSX, so upgrade path to FSX is not important to me either at this time.

hii have been having a problem with some of my ai aircraft. the problem is that the aircraft are not showing up for example united airlines new colours 757 ai aardvark does not show up and i think it is beacause of this as shown in the picture do any of you now why this problem is occuring and i have checked in the aircraft.cfg file and that all matches and is correct thanks in advance jimmer

Anybody using this MaxiVista for multiscreens? I thought about using it but need more details. Like, can you run it in full screen mode or does it have to be in windowed mode?Also, what are the pros or cons with running FS9 on two computers?I have been thinking of getting another computer to network with my Dell so then I could use two screens, etc..Would there be any performance benefits fro using two computers?

Hi allWith this very good scenery, I have a problem that I have never had before with other add-on sceneries.When I switch view, I randomly loose the sharpness of the textures (all, including terminal, AI, my own plane). It usually takes long to recover up ultimately, it does. It is like blurries but amplified.Has someone noticed this?Thank you for your help.Regards,Ghiom

:-) Hi, need some help here guys,been having probs with the 737 600/700 pmdg running in the 2004,error message along the lines of :the version of fs 2004 detected is NOT campatible with this version of FSUIPC. you need the correct version, basically I had to delete the FSUIPC.DLL file and download another file,then the update for 2004,having done this the sim works fine with all a/c except the 737 pmdg it ,hangs, when trying to open what do I need to do now:-( aga

I would appreciate some help please !!!I finally learned how to use AFCAD and created a runway for this island in the Philippines i use to fly to with my Dad. I had it set up perfect. I then got carried away and started downloading stuff from the avsim library; airports, scenery, ai flightplans. I also downloaded airland 1 and scanafd.Now i can't find the airport i made on the airport list. I tried making a new one but it won't show up on the list either. i would rather have my simple runway on that island than all the other stuff i downloaded.Please help!!!Thanks in advance

Hi there,My problem is i can't get rid of that hard horizon, the line that splits the ground and the sky. I've attached a screenshot below. I have seen many a screen shot where the ground and the horizon blend really nicely with one another but i can't seem to get that no matter what i try. I've tried reducing the visibility to 30 in AS but at 30000ft it looks like i'm flying through thick fog and its awful!I'm using FS9, AS6.5, and GEII. My visibilty settings in FS are Sight Distance 60m and cloud draw distance 60m. In AS visibilty is set at 59 as recommended in the sticky.My graphics card is an ATI 9800XT 256mb. Recently had to reload the 600-900 series. Now I find that theNav/Strobe/Beacon lights will not come on. All other lights appear to be operating normally.Cycled the switches several times, still no joy.Suggestions would be appreciated.Cheers,Neil

I have finally started to attempt helicopter flights. I still have a long way to go, but I can get the litte buggers up in the air, fly my planned route, and crash very nicely. My question is: has anybody purchased the AlphaSim Apache? How is both the aircraft and the company to deal with?ThanksTom

I think that I will build a new machine soon - I will purchase FS10 for it as I like some of the things in FS10.But, what MUST I install in FS9 (forget a/c). First off, of course is the 9.1 update and another must for me is VOZ 1.3 as nothing else I know of does what it does for Australia.So - start building!Thanks Barry

Look i realy need quality scenery and crafts I have more then 6gb add-ons but maybe 400-500mb of that 6gb that i have are lets say quality... but how can i make fs9 more realistic then deffult complet... where are best add-ons for download and for free :D... I think I've figured out that the only thing I really like in FSX is the trees, especially the tall ones that look like poplars. I'm sure I remember reading that there's a way of converting the new format that the FSX trees are (forget what it's called), to the old, I believe, bitmap.Anyone help me convert the trees. I remember them being resized, which I assume is a straight forward PS job.I work in PS, so that's no problem. It's just a matter of finding the files, knowing how to convert them, and what size etc to do them.Thanks in advance.Phil

I'm looking for the best fighter jet I can find for FS, but I have yet to even find one with a VC as good looking as LOMAC. Is there anything out there up to that kind of quality?

I installed Just Flight's Capt Sim C-130 yeaterday to discover TOO many differant versions. I only want to use a few of them and get rid of the rest of them, but I can not find the Capt Sim's C-130 folder in "FS9/aircraft". Could someone tell me how the Capt Sim C-130 is named? thanks jerry

Dear Friends, I got rid of FSX and put back fs9 with only the good quality add-ons (ld767, pmdg 747, f1 727, cs 130 , pa31, etc.) plus GE and FE and some aiports. I have so many good quality add-ons that are operable in fs9 only and it is a shame not to have them available just because there is fsx. I gave fsx a chance for a couple of months but now I am back. There is not going to be a suitable complex airliner sim update for fsx for still some time. In fact, the only decent fsx offering at the moment is feel there's Legacy. Maybe good fs9 sims will get updated but i don't see that happeing any time soon.I am quite happy now. I shall start rebuilding my good old fs9 only…

Just saw the '727 Captain' aircraft release from Captain sim, which is basically a revamped 'Legendary 727'. The problem is I see that they are selling it in 3 seperate packages. The exterior 100 and 200, then to my utter surprise an "interior and systems" module!??Looking further it turns out that the "interior and systems" consists of High Res 2-D panel, VC cockpit and cabin and "systems programing"Am I understanding that Captainsim is selling their airplanes piece by piece? What kind of garbage is that? Has anyone seen this?
