Hi all,My vc and aircraft textures disappear in fs9. I start a flight anywhere and about 2-3 minutes into the flight my vc and aircraft textures disappear; they turn white. I have an image to show you the problem. This usually happens when i cycle through the views. Initially the ground textures go realy blurry then the aircraft and vc textures disappear. Greets, all:I'm just curious whether or not various "inactive" modules in the FS9/modules folder take up any RAM when not in use.For example, if I have FSNavigator installed, but don't start it up in-sim (the only way to start it, obviously), is it still utilizing memory?I ask since I like to run FS9 as cleanly as possible and have no problems swapping modules in and out as use requires (I know I'd have to restart FS9 if I did this).Anyone know?

As I am accumulating quite a large number of 3rd Party Scenery Programmes and files, I would be grateful if anyone can avise me if there is such a thing as a Scenery Manager that would enable me to activate or deactivate files within the Scenery Library WITHOUT using FS9.?? ie Deactivate selected scenery before opening FS9 to minimise the amount of scenery that FS9 will handleMany thanksGeorge

I just tried to launch FS9 and got the "Microsoft Flight Simulator has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" message. Why? I haven't changed anything...I think.

Has anyone who is familiar with LSGG noticed that the DJL departures no longer exist? From what I can gather there is a new departure TUTAX, but I can't find any reference to anything anyhwere. If anyone knows anyting about this I would love to know :)Cheers,Aaron

Flight sim loads some aircraft overweight. I am wondering if it's possible to get them empty, so that I can put in the fuel & payload I want rather than the default procedure of taking fuel & payload out?Thanks.TerryW

Anyone every experience gauges disappearing during flight. The other day I was flying between 15AK (Alaska) and PABI (Alaska) when my gps 500 screen went black along with the HSI. I had to reload the aircraft to get them back. This happened several times that day. I had real weather loaded and updated each 15 min. In all my years since MS first FlightSim this was a first for me. I couldn't find any problems in my panel file. Any suggestions.KSPIThanks

What are your opinions on these two? I tried Active Camera a while back and it had disappearing ground textures and didn't play well with my Track IR4 (I forget the details but it was annoying enough that I uninstalled AC). How about Walk & Follow?

First problem I've had with gatekeeper. I doubleclick on it and it comes up normal--showing all the .pln--then I doubleclick on a .pln (KCLE-KDCA) and it would always take me to all the available gates at KCLE--now I doubleclick on the .pln and I get the hour glass and it won't give me the gates--any thoughts or similar?I've uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck. Hello all,Was wondering if you could please post the engine data section of your Dash 8 Q400 aircraft (any manufacturer). My Dreamwings Q400 is near impossible to slow down - it can maintain 200kts on idle power and the speed only drops if I chuck in flaps.I must add that I am using the Dreamwings *Fokker 50* aircraft.cfg as the Q400 .cfg was causing big problems (unflyable plane). It flies perfectly now...except the hugely excess speed at idle power.What could I tweak in the aircraft.cfg? Static thrust? If you have a better .cfg could you please post it? Hi guys, A couple of problems that have started happening recently on my machine:1. ntdll.dll errors: I've been getting errors loading scenery at about 84% (loading traffic at that point) mostly in Germany. Error refers to ntdll.dll. Anyone know what the issue is? I am running XP. 2. I have recently been having situations where the coputer will spontaneously reboot, especially when I access the menu by pressing Alt in full screen mode or when I cycle through AI aircraft using Ctrl+W. Hi guys,I don't dislike too much the Feelthere A3XX series model, however, I don't like the lack of so many repaints on launch time. Theire B737 classic were with much more complete set of repaints.So I was considering merging the panel wwith the IFDG model.What I did was creating a new copy of theire aircraft folder, and copy the IFDG model and textures to that folder. The only change I made on aircraft.cfg was the flightsim.x section, and nothing else. The contact points on A319 at least seems quite good with no modifications needed.However, the panel is not working perfectly, because the switchs are not switching!! Is it possible for me to use an external skin from aircraft to another.Say I have the CS Legendary 727. IF I get another 727 addon. Can I criss cross.. Use the new 727's external model to the old Legendary 727? So the sound and flight dynamics and VC/guages etc are from the old?How would I do that if it was possible?ThanksManny

Hi folks.I want to rename the Tocantins Airport (Brasil) from old SBPMto the new SBPJ Identifier.Is it possible to rename the "stock"apxxxxx.bgl file?Should i try to load the "stock" SBPM file to AFCAD and on Menu "Properites" change the Designator to SBPJ, but then it saysthat it will duplicate the files when i try to save. Hello all,Can anyone tell me why my POSKY Westjet never gets sent to the proper gates at most airports. My aircraft config file is set up for WJA and GATE. All of the AFCAD files for the appropriate airports are showing WJA spots, but when I 'request taxi to the gate' I get sent to a non Westjet gate and sometimes to a gate that is to small for that aircraft type. Note, all of my AI planes are at the proper gates. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys,I was on the Avsim main page and saw that a new addon called Sky Environment Day was released. I went to their site and its looked very interesting. I finally purchased it ($14.99) and my god it is awesome! :)I had always had really sharp horizons in my sky but Sky Environment Day fixes this and it includes 30 different sky sets for different seasons, weather, type of flight etc... Is anyone using FS9 on Vista ?, if so what are your experiences, good or bad ?

Hi,I asked this before, but I didn't got an answer, therefore I included now a screen shot. Do you have also these shifts between rivers and mesh? It looks like they have both a different reference point (this is a scene of VOZ 1.3, and I use the proposed mesh) but I have the same thing with scenery everywhere.
