Hi;Being fairly new I know I'll prob get razzed for this question, but . . . I downloaded a blimp hanger that I was planning to add to an airport scenery I am making with EZ Scenery and Rwy12. However the blimp hanger isn't a .bgl (I believe that is what an object needs to be to be used by these programs). It is a .api. Is there any way to make this object work with what I have? Or is there a blimp hanger.bgl download available that I just haven't been able to find?Cheers; JMB

Does anybody know of a file avialible that is for fs2004 that has already increased the speed of all default atc voice sets without having to learn edit voice pack?I did a search and did not find such a file. Although, maybe I just don't know what to look for???Thanks in Advance!

I recently tried to readjust my video card settings because of some display problems (flickering, sparkling, flashing, etc.). I recently updated my ATI 9800 XT card's driver (8.273.0.0), so I wonder if that's why my FS settings were a little off. Anyway, I experimented within the ATI control panel and fixed everything within FS by adjusting anti-aliasing, AF filtering, etc. I returned to FS and the display was perfect. The problem is, when I reopened FS the next time, settings reverted back to what they were before I changed things. I reduced FS to the taskbar, went back into ATI control panel, saw that all settings were still OK, and went back to FS. Still like befor…

Can anyone help me to get the files for FSX Cessna 208B back?I overwrote the files in the panel of Cessna 208B folder by mistake. So I only have holes in the panel in stead of instruments. A new installation of the FSX seems to me a bit too much work for this .Anyone out there who can help?ThanksJan Deurenberg

I have been flying out of England for a while.I thought I would fly out of Hawaii.I set FS9 to load on the default runway then pressed fly.FS 9 started to load but all of a sudden it drops to desktop with no error message.I have not change anything in FS 9 or my computer.Anyone have an idea on what has happened or how I can fix it?Eddie

How do I know I can trust the integrity of flt sim managers scenery diagnositcs? Its an old program and scenery technology may have changed, how do I know when I have it "fix" the problems that it is not causing new problems?

After seeing some FRAPS videos from other users, I thought I'd give it a try. I installed FRAPS, but I can't get it to record video in FS9. The FRAPS frame rate counter turns red for a split second when I hit the capture key (F9), but it immediately goes back to the normal color. No video is recorded.The video recording works in several other games I've tried, just not FS9. What could possibly be the problem? I've tried reducing my FS9 resolution, and disabling sound recording, but still no-go. Thanks in advance for any tips to get FRAPS working!

Hi,I have recently uninstalled Don Grovestines previous version of Victoria Intl in order to install the new version 2. However I am left with the vehicles in the car park.(see screenshot). I cant find where this scenery is. I am not sure if it's part of Don's scenery or not. I have tried deactivating all my BC scenery but the vehicles remain.Does anyone recognize these vehicles and car park and know to what scenery they belong ?Thanks.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/166395.jpg

I have not posted here in a while, and perhaps this has already been addressed. But, does anyone else here agree that for those of us who still use FS9, moving the tech forum into the FSX folder is an inconvenience. Not only that, but i don't find FS9 tech issues covered. Is it possible that avsim management could give us back our own FS9 tech forum? thanks.sherm

Any help would be awesome. I recently took a month or two break from simming. Came back today and loaded FS9. I loaded the Flight One ATR and after I hit ok to load the aircraft FS9 just crashed back to my desktop. I also downloaded the Fokker F28 from Project Fokker and the same deal. I did get error message stating something about fssound.dll. Any ideas on what the culprit is?

Can someone tell me please where to get a full listing of the format used in .pln file. I am thinking of writing my own flight plan files from another computer program. I have searched the web and can find lots of programs that creat the .pln files, but I want to know the details about the format of these files themselves.Mike

OK - I have the FT A320 and am having a big issue with ILS arrivals and CTDs.In a nutshell - choosing certain ILS RWYs causes an immediate CTD for me.Best example is the ILS RWY 30 into KLGB. I was trying the following RW flight plan:KSLC FFU6 URNUW CDC BLD J107 HEC.KAYOH4 KLGBIt seems though that any ILS RWY 30 arrival results in a CTD though.I originally had trouble with KABQ ILS RWY8 also, but that went away once I updated the database (it seems there is an older one installed with the Airbus installation - went from 9/06 back to 1/06). Also - does not seem to happen on every ILS.Would another user try it to see if they have a CTD? Would take just a couple minutes -…

I have 2 gigs of memory and upgrade to 4 gigs. Is this overkill for FS9 or would it help?

Hello,Does anyone here know if after you defrag your Fs9 drive and then run fs9 - does the fs9 program "frag" files and require another defrag?I use Ultimate Defrag and it allows you to not only defrag by NAME but to also place selected files in the fastest possible download position (least head movement) of your drive. UD has increased my FPS (along with TWeakFPS) considerably. I put the FS9 scenery, addon scenery, tectures, etc in the high speed area. Since a defrag of this nature always starts "from scratch" and takes about 2 hours I don't really know how often I have to do this. (after each day, weekly, etc)BTW - neither has gotten me to a place where I can run FSX sm…

HiI have recently bought the feelthere 777, and have installed the recent patch that is available. One thing that is driving me bananas is that i get a waring alarm and the caution goes on at about 5 to 7000 feet, and when i try to press the caution to terminate it, the thing will not turn off, anyone have any insight on how to fix this or if there is a workaround?
