Hello, All,I have been spending the last few hours scouring the web for a decent payware quality Piper PA-24 Comanche to no avail. In my real world flight school I am preparing to enter my Commercial portion of training and wanted an aircraft in my sim that was as close to the aircraft I am training in as possible. At this point I would love a decent Commanche with a nice VC, but I am prepared to go with any Piper that is payware quality, has a decent VC and has retractable gear.Carenado has some sweet Pipers, but all of them are fixed gear only. Hello folks!Although using AVSIM for many years now (uploading - and more downloading :-) ) this is my first attempt to use this forum.Beside spending lots of hours in front of my FS9, I am also a member of the club "Ein Hansajet fuer Hamburg e.V.".We bought one of the last survivors... and plan to bring that ship into the skies again, in a couple of years (and lots of workinghours later...).Until that date, I would like to -at least - fly that thing on my pc in FS9.... I'm getting an external HD. Then I'm going to do a fresh install FS9 (oh my!) on my main HD. Once I have all my basic add-ons installed, GE + UT + FE + FSG Mesh + favorite payware planes & scenery, all nice and clean and stable, I want to copy the entire thing over to the external HD so if/when I screw up FS9 installing new stuff, I can delete the main FS9 and copy over the "template" FS9 off my external HD.Besides the main FS9 folder and the Documents and Setting/FS9 folder the .cfg file is in, are there any others that have to be copied as well?Thanks.

I am getting worried about installing Windows Vista Home Premium on my computer for the fear of it wiping out all my freeware and payware files. My add-ons are listed below. HI,Interesting to read the FSX excuses about dual core/hyperthreadingnot being utilised to the full. SD's (ACES?) say they didn'tknow which way events would go???I'm puzzled? Take my sit. for eg. I just downloaded and flew the new and latest Mooney Bravo ACCLAIM model in Xplane v8.60If you don't have Xplane but do have FS9, do a search for an Mooney Bravo ACCLAIM, if one exists for FS9 at present. You will LOVE IT!What a ripper! The performance of this plane is stunning.The electronic instrument package the ACCLAIM boasts is to die for in a single turbo prop. I'm trying to decide which of these versions of the Boeing 777 to go with. The 777 Professional product includes all three versions of the 777 (200, 300 & freighter) and 26 liveries (only one of which is an American carrier). The Wilco product only includes the 200 variant and 16 liveries (including two American carriers). It does come with a functional FMC and a paint kit, however.I'd be iterested in hearing what people think of both. Judging from some of the comments I've seen about Wilco's 737 PIC I think I can probably guess what the author's of those comments might think about Wilco's 777. I'm having a problem with this otherwise great package for the ATR 42-300. When I click my buttons assigned for up and down elevator trim, the resulting trim adjustment is extremely large. Hello everyone,It is indeed a rarity for me to ask for technical help with an aircraft system (or in this case helicopter, system!). I sometimes secretly give myself a rather silly, and self gratifying pat on the back knowing that due to my aviation training I can usually use a complex system model with little or no reference to the manual!I recently bought the Nemeth Designs Mil-17, and absolutely love it (not generally a lover of helicopters - just not my thing - until now!).However, the AP system has got me stumped. i'm a newb to flying in fs2004 so please excuse my lack of ability.i tried to takeoff using a cessna 172 from flagstaff,ariz. and found the a/c was barely able to clear the end of the runway.i have the mixture control on auto in the a/c settings,and realize that the air is much thinner at that alt. am i using the wrong a/c for this alt. or is there something else i should be doing? i've looked for tutorials or stickies with search but found nothing. thanks

Hey all,For the last couple of day i've been having problem with my flightsim, I dont know whats going i tryed everything to fix the problem but no results. I have attached a picture of what my screen looks like when im landing at any aiport. I can barely see the airport just the runway, its like everything disappears within 20 mi radius. Hi!I've got a little problem. So the problem is that i can use my kneebord for example with cessna if i want to zoom or change a view ( s ) etc. But when i want to use a pmdg plane i can't use my kneebord. I'm pushing the buttons on it but nothing happens. Either esc or alt buttons don't work when i use pmdg 737s. Please help yestarday everything was ok. But now ii isn't. Thank you

I've been using both FS9 and FSX and am currently torn between the two. My FS9 is quite well decked out with addons listed in my sig below that enhance the experience in some cases to beyond what FSX offers at the moment, but the ground textures look quite dated and bland. On the other hand, FSX is such a pretty thing with the new details, features and AI categories turned up, but this prettiness comes at a price that I find unacceptable in terms of either performance or smoothness and in a world currently bereft of quality addons.Since it'll be a while until FSX comes into its prime, I'm looking at giving my FS9 a bit of a leg up on the ground scenery front to close th…

Hello I flew FS2004 with my friend via direct ip connection. But despite both of us using ADSL internet 256kbs and 1mbs, our virtual plane jumps around rediculously when get close together. I mean I see my friend's plane bouncing to the left.. right.. back.. front of my plane that it gets rediculous and my friend reporting seeing the same. Hence, is there a way to reduce such laginess? some command line switch or any techniques? Thank you.

Have these guys (Airsimmer.com) just forgot about all the hype they were putting out about this project. It was to be out already acording to them when they had their exhibit at the FS convention? They dont have any info or furom on their site! Whats going on anybody know.......Reality XP's bus probably gave them second thoughts. Two Rockwell Turbo Aero Commander 690B repaints in PEMEX livery were posted in AVSIM File Library yesterday and the model files referenced in their aircraft.cfg entries were "model.tcommvenea" and "model.tcommvenea-wl". The only Veneaviones base packages I could find for this aircraft contained model files "model" and "model.vc". Does anyone know a source for the referenced model files?Stan V
