Why is it add on developers can't/don't make a quality VC like Real Air does? Shockwave makes one that is almost as good as Real Air, but nobody else comes close, and we know it can be done. Real Air does not even charge more than the guys with the lesser VC's, so it can't be said its not practical or possible to make them that nice. Is it just lack of skill?

I'm guessing I need to decomp each BGL, find and delete the object(s), then recompile? Today I upgraded my 6800GT (256mb) to a 7800GS OC (256mb). I installed the latest drivers an everything worked well until I turned on anti-aliasing. In the windowed mode, everything works, but in the full screen mode, the 2D panel is missing. (all planes). I know it is something in the driver settings but I am not sure what. Just to prevent the all of the posts of "why did you upgrade?", it was the last of the AGP Nvidia cards and I am trying to extend my machine until the Holidays when DX10 for FSX will probably arrive. And, yes, I did see some performance gains out of this jump. F-18 at 12,000 MSL, at 500 knots, and no blurries (FPS locked at 24). (Ground tectures …

Hi all,I'm new here but have been using FS for several years.When I started FS9 this morning the splash screen came up normal, but never, even after an hour, did the Main menu. I've tried reinstalling to no avail. When I press Ctrl+ALT+Delete, FS shows as not responding. Any suggestions?

Hello all, I just got back into Flight Simulator to practice for flight training and really want to master the FMC for future dealings. I've read the manual for the FMC that came with the iFly 747 and have found it to be inadaquete in allowing me to set up a transatlantic flight (i.e. KJFK-EDDF) using GPS navigation via autopilot. I'd really like to master the FMC where I can fly SIDS out of the New York area into cruise Flt using GPS, but I feel the manual still leaves me in the dark on how to do this. For me, I learn well reading tutorials or sample flights that I can use with other routes, fuels, weights, etc.I know many of you are much more skilled than I am at the…

I don't get into the "soup" very often so just learnt to live with it, but is this normal? When you set vis to say 1/16th or even 1/2 mi vis, the landing lights just look bad in spot view. Could it be my setup? or do others see the same effect in low vis situations? Hello all:During some trials I have been doing with a little tool I was testing for installing addons, I must have made some involuntary changes in my FS config, but the fact is every aircraft I try to fly, does not have power on its right side.In order not to complicate my explanations, at first I simply want to ask you the simple question, regardless of how the tool I was trying could have produced this failure. Hi all,Recently I suffer from CTD's from the module FE.DLL. I read alot in this forum and it is supposed to be a problem of corrupt aircraft bmp's.Is there a way to detect corrupt images via a tool? hope i've the correct forum here. i posted on the posky panel forum on 02/25 and have no joy yet; i loaded the posky 757 and the vc textures but, in vc, there are no engine instruments. there is a clear space in the center of the panel with switches on the left edge, and on the lower portion a set of engine gauges that are not animated. the 2d panel is fine. it's a great model, really feels big and heavy, just wish i could fly it in vc without setting power by ear. any help? tt

I need to be able to manually tune vor/ils frequencies on the Nav radios for the the 777 Professional I just bought! They're not on the radio panel where they should be. Apparently, according to a forum message I found on Just Flight's web site, the Nav radios are normally suppose to be tuned via the FMS, but can be tuned manually. This was on another Just Flight product however. I would have posted this message on that forum but you have to be a registered member to post messaged (just like here). Hey, Simmers,I was thinking about getting Ultimate Terrain for fs9. Mainly because I hate the default shorelines. I was hoping you would offer advice about how well it works with my other addons as well as how often it breaks things (I've read problems with runways, boats, etc. not playing well with new shorelines).I have:- All the FSG 38m meshes + US landclass- BEV summer- Megascenery Nor Cal v2Their site says it plays well the the FSG meshes, but does the UT landclass conflict with FSG's?
