If you use a Mac with, say, Bootcamp, please let me know what spec your machine is, what graphics card, and what sort of performance you get in FS9 (also what resolution you are running).I am thinking of getting an iMac (swtiching from PC) and would appreciate your advice.CheersSteve

Just woundering if anyone else had a problem getting their activation code to activate thier active camera software. I purchased it about a week ago, 3 e-mails later still no code. E-mailed simmarket also no reply? I guess I will just wait but the activation instructions said no later than "next day". I'm taking the leap to online flying using IFR rules and was wondering about a couple of things which i haven't been able to find answers to:Do i contact ATC and ask for a weather report from the arriving airport control centre etc?, is there anything else i need to ask of them or do they normally contact the pilot with details and if so what do they relay? When i reach cruise do i need to contact anyone or do i just conform to my last set of instructions from the departing ATC and then leave it at that? Is it ATC who normally contacts the pilot with instructions or does the pilot have a responsibility to contact controllers etc?Hope you can helpBrad.

I have some interest in the Honeywell avionics panel in the EMB-145 aircraft so was thinking about getting a payware, but recent threads on this developer (s?) makes me cautious. Right now my target is FS9 but FSX is also desireable.My priority needs are1. 2d panel with good systems simulation2. good flight model3. VC nice to have4. detailed interior/exterior don't care What is the realtionship of FeelThere to Wilco? Are they different or actually the same? It seems like the Legacy is sold by Wilco, but the EMB145 is sold by FeelThere. Is the Legacy actually an update of the same EMB145? Would one or the other be preferred for my priorites?scott s..

Has anyone who has these to products merged experienced the problem with the aircraft opening up with the PSS 340 panel?? Also when eventually i get the 330 panel activated on approach to any airport i experience a severe nose down pitch about 300 feet from the ground, Has anyone else experienced any of these problem and have a way to solve them?? Good morning folks. I need some advice about reinstalling a scenery package. The following, I posted up at Flight Scenery. Hello, I have a random and silly question to ask...Is there any way (in FS9 or FSX) that you can "ride" an AI aircraft? I know you can follow one in chase view, but is there any way to "be" the AI plane? For instance, I'd like to find a way to simulate being a passenger and simply watch from within the aircraft as it taxis, takes off, flies to its destination, lands, and taxis to the gate, all the while responding to the ATC commands. I know it sounds completely ridiculous and many would probably just suggest recording the flight and playing it back, but then the aircraft does its thing without regard to other AI aircraft.If this isn't possible, are there any programs tha…

Hello I got windows Vista and installed FS9 On it.After running fs9 i got some problems with graphics if i can call it so.Problem IS:Wnen loading another aircraft,weather,changing airports etc.(Int total going somewhere after pushing alt key in game,game starts like flashing or jumpimg.Same goes when doing same things from start page in FS9.Does anybody else have theese problems?Need some help here please.

Anyone else having problems with unusually high pitch (deck angle) while on approach with the E135/145s by Dreamwings? Its nothing like the real aircraft and it makes landings extremely difficult. There's no reason why an approach REF speed of 145+ias needs to be maintained for a stable, if not normal, approach with flaps 45. Is there an updated FDE/cfg out there? I haven't had any luck searching for info on this. I'm tempted to tweak the drag lines associated with the flaps in the aircraft.cfg files but I'm not sure this would work...any help is greatly appreciated since the Dreamwings forum is nothing but porn posts :-roll .Cheers,Mark

Greets, all:I've had this problem for a few months now and have never figured out why. Let me preface this by saying that I'm not experiencing any crashes or problems with FS9 in general. But I've always been used to periodically checking for duplicate AFCADs with ScanAFD in order to head off any potential problems. Sort of a preventive maintenance scheme for FS9 that I use.However, for the last few months, I've been unable to use ScanAFD simply because I run it and it freezes. I've been looking at getting a new LCD, and came to the conclusion that LCDs are getting bigger, better, and cheaper. This means more widescreen displays will be flying off the shelves. Now I wonder when are developers going to start supporting widescreens? I think this is going to be an important feature for next-gen add-ons, I certainly hope developers are paying attention.
