I can't seem to get the cargo doors open on my A320. I've read that you use the "tail hook" key command to do it, but that doesn't do anything. I've tried setting the tail hook command to something different in FS, and then pressing that, but nothing happens still.Not usually fussed about this but with the new features of AES coming out soon I'd like to get this working.Any idea how?Thanks in advance,Dan

Hi AllPulling my hair out here. I can't seem to be able to merge the a320 series of the overland model with the PSS panel and have a workable result. Very strange autopilot behaviour despite quite a lot of aircraft file modifications. Does anyone have a workable merge?

Well here is one for you guys. I added a couple of aircraft to FS9, and I seem to have a bit of a problem with three of them. The C-133B, the F-105D and G. I dont recall the C-133 author, but the Thuds are by Kazunori Ito. The problem with all three aircraft is the same. The elevators on the C-133 and the stabs on the Thuds are constantly fluttering up and down. I cannot control the pitch of the aircraft, and they end up flying into the ground after stalling out. I tried to contact the author but his email got kicked back as non existant. HELP! I am using a Sidewinder Force Feedback stick, and none of the other aircraft either stock or add ons have this problem. Max:-hmmm

I am hoping someone knows the answer. For about 10-14 days, regardless of season, time of day, or direction, when the cockpit view comes up, about 15-30 seconds later the clouds all have black undersides. If I change views, the clouds come back as puffy white but in the above timeframe, they again go black. The same thing happens in FSX. I have the latest video driver for my card and my local software dealer was today unable to fix or fathom the problem. It also happens when using the clouds of either the FS9 program and the Ultimate Flight Environment. I need a bit of help. As I'm fairly new to FS9 (7 months) I haven't seen all there is, so please bear with me.I have two planes downloaded that do everything but get off the ground. All of the functions work as advertised . . engines, avionics, panels, animated features - flaps, control surfaces, etc. I can taxi out to the end of the runway, throttle up, roll down the runway gain speed past V1, V2 etc. pull the nose up and the a/c stays on the ground. Obviously something is amiss. I've tried erasing and reloading the files to no avail. The planes in question are a Piper Tri-Pacer and a Pilatus PC-21. Both appear to be well done models by different authors.Can anyone g…

I have installed this excellant scenery & was highly amazed. I have only one big problem at this moment. When aproaching the island of Gran Canaria, all is fine but as soon as I cross the coastline my whole system crashes out to my desktop view.I can fly around & over all of the other islands with no problems.Has anybody any idea as to why this should happen.I must also say that I have now downloaded, installed & uninstalled 3 times & each time the same problem occurs.Help Dennis

While using FS9, from time to time, I wish to minimise the program so I can use other programs such as a third party aircraft configuration, fuel planner or Active Sky. I always fly in full screen mode which necessitates pressing 'alt + enter' to get the heading bar at the top. I can then either click the '-' to place FS in the task bar or click on the two squares to minimise the screen. However, when I go back to FS9 afterwards, I can never get FS back to it's original state with the heading bar at the top. When I click on the 'box' in the top right corner of the minimised screen to maximise it, half the minimised screen disappears leaving the other half there but no…

Hi Folks... Does anyone happen to know if there's a way in which to use an aircraft other than the default Cessna in the Flight Lessons portion of FS? In my day-to-day flying I use the Flight1 C172. It's such a superior aircraft to the default C172, I'd prefer to use it in the lessons also. Thanks for any insight...

Hey, Everyone FS9 keeps randomly crashing on me and im not sure why? I get no errors or anything the screen just goes blank and then the Microsoft Error Report service pop ups and thats it. I recently reinstalled my copy of the PMDG 747-400F along with the 609 AIRAC demo cycle from navigraph and the latest terminal procedures from planepath could those be the culprit? It was running fine before I installed all that.regards, Ryan

I seem to remember an add-on or a separate program that would tell you the remaining distance and/or flight time without having to go into the sim. So, if FS was minimized while you were working on something else, you could keep track of your flight that way. Maybe it was something in the system tray? Does this ring any bells for anyone at all?

I seem to have run into an issue with MSFS. I'm not sure If I am the only one, but the time in FS is off. I live in FL witch in spring is UTC+4 and winter UTC+5. But FS isn't changing this. For example, If I fly a flight on 3/27/07 at 12pm Zulu is shown at 1700Z when it should be 16Z. Then If I change the date to 12/27/06 its the same.Is there a fix out there, or just a simple setting change.ThanksJustin
