Hi guys,I normally fly the European summer holiday destinations,ie: Most UK airports to Ibiza,Greece,Canary Islands,Portugal,other Spanish resorts,you get the picture...I would like to start flying to holiday destinations in the USA ie: Miami....I dont want to fly from the UK to these resorts but from within the States,I hardly ever fly in the States apart from the UK, so has anyone got any USA holiday destinations they could share with me?Thanks,Regards,Martin.

Hey Guys, I was just wondering if there were any reapaints for the ifdg MD-11 in Delta Airlines NC livery. I've seen the repaint for it in the old widget livery and the Atlanta Olympics livery but i cant seem to find it in Delta Airlines'newest colors! If there isnt a repaint out there, can somebody please create one? Thanks a Million, Lance

Hello!I've read and heard that tapping the rudder pedals (toe bakes)it will release the autobrakes. On all my aircraft I find that I need to turn the knob manually otherwise I'll come to a hault on the runway until doing so. Is there a FS9.cfg tweak to solve this issue or have I heard wrong about tapping the toe brakes?Thanks!Roger

NL2000V3 is not a joke, but...Now more than 5 days later i have all the 5 dvd's "torrented" and after some 75 min. of installing at last NL2000V3 is running on FS9....But the first impressions are not completely satisfying.....but i will give it some days to get familiar with the interface and the whole add-on...Ill come back later with more results about this hugest add-on ever uploaded....Two days later...After all the installment worked out well, but overall i am not very satisfied with the product itself.If you compare these 30Gb (GIGAbyte) with the 500Mb of VOZ...then i am slightly disappointed...Specially in my hometownarea Twente the only thing that scores a 7 out …

Hey all,I mentioned on our teamspeak that I was looking at buying a 22" widescreen monitor. I was warned that widescreen creates problems on panels in FS9, such as some buttons/guaes will not function.Is this true. I'd love to upgrade my monitor [email protected]:-hmmm

I have 2 hard disk drives (C: and F:, not just partitions) and a curious question: where should I install FS9 for better performance? Some people say Windows XP and FS9 should be in different drives, some people say the same for XP and the pagefile, and some people say that for FS9 and the pagefile. The ideal thing (in my opinion) would be 3 hard drives: one for XP and other apps, other for FS9 and the other for the data (music, documents, photos) and the pagefile.But when you have 2 drives only, what do you recommend to be located in the same disk? Help!I've gone and done a bo-bo! In an attempt to fix a 'hovering' DC6 (see attached), I've been using the nav light method. Each time I've had to close down FS and then bring up my .cfg file to edit it. No big whoop there. But, by mistake, I've checked the use this program box when telling XP to read the cfg file with notepad. Now, all of the cfg's are shown with notepad icons instead of the configuration icons. To this end, I don't think FS is reading them as a cfg file.:-zhelp Any ideas here to fix this would be great!Cheers,Jim

I have the Simflyers version of EGCC and with most of the earlier Simflyers it is getting a little old. I see UK2000 has a Manchester and some have said its good. I wonder though if it also is getting a little past its prime? I also see there is a Photo real scenery add on (Mantex ver2) available for the UK200 offering and I wonder if anyone that have bothe could give me their opinion.Thanks Andrew

Hello,I still remember the day when FSX was announced. I was exited for the release. Screen shots looked great, everything made it seem like it was going to be great; developers are blogging and giving information and so on. I decide to uninstall FS2004. Finally, a week after the release, I go to Future Shop and buy the game for 60$. I come home install the game feeling pretty confident that the game will run fine on my AMD64 3500+, ATI AIW X800XT with 2GB of RAM. The game starts and WOW its looks UGLY ! I've been trying to discover how to fix this annyoing problem.Sometimes... after 10 or 15 minutes FS9 is running, everytime my mouse stays on an instrument who will pop up a tooltip... the half size of the screen draws an image than happened some seconds/minutes ago.Anyone know how can i fix it?.Btw... Hi name here is Mark, I'd like to say great forum Glad I joined. I have some questions. First, how do I check my frame rate? Second, In real life I have flown into Midway airport (on a commercial airliner, I'm not a pilot) in Chicago. I understand it's a hard one to land in because it's right in the city and you have to come in at a steep decent rate. I wanted to try flying into it in FS but don't see it listed. Is it not in FS or is it just not in mine for some reason? Third is there a key board shortcut to reverse engines after touchdown when landing jet aircraft. Thanks for any help.Mark

When flying into Vegas last time, I noticed massive spikes and holes south of the city (and I mean massive). I've had problems such as airports on plateaus (namely Denver, Vegas), but was unable to fix them. I want to do a flight today, and since it's been a while since I've done FS, I'm wondering if a fix for this has been developed yet? I use Ultimate Terrain, FS Gen landclass and mesh (freeware off of avsim). Thanks.

Hi, I'm new to this site but im pretty familiar with flight simulator 2004. I've heard many people talk about this crosswind or 'star runway technique but i still don't understand how to make crosswind runways in FS9. Also i have tried to follow the link to the famous project ai tutorial on how to do this but the link no longer works becuase they updated the site! Hello. I was hoping someone can help out here.Has anyone else had any problems opening some of the outer doors on an aircraft after installing the PS Panels 737NG panel?Everything on the panel itself works okay, but, at least when used with the POSKY 737 the air stairs and the baggage doors do not open. The commands that used to open them now just open and close the main cabin door.If I remove the panel from that same aircraft the doors work fine.Anyone have any ideas as to what's going on here?Thanks!
