Hi FolksI'd like to learn to add mutiple runways to AFCAD. I have Cloud Nines KDCA and their afcad uts jets on runway 4-22 all of the time which is impossible to begin with. Shez's afcad for dca was a sreal as you could get but it will not work with the cloud nine scenery. Does anyone out there have a proper afcad for dca or know how to do this?Thanks Jim

Can anyone lead me to a good tutoral on how to correctly import repaints for AI into Ultimate Traffic for FS9. I'm mainly interested in using Aardvark,WoAI or Evolve repaints because they seem to best improve frame rates. Unless I've missed it, I checked their web sites and didn't realy see a clear "how to" explanation.Again, I'm not asking anyone to spend the time to explain it here, I'm just looking for a site I can go to to read up on it myself.Thanks for any repliesJohn M

Hi guys,I have been trying to install the Horizon Simulations UK Mesh, but I'm not too impressed with the installer, which is leaving me completely confused.The installer tries to launch VFRTexturesVol1setup.exe - VFRTexturesVol4setup.exe after installing the mesh. There is no real explanation as to what these are...I don't want VFR photoreal scenery at all (I will be using Ultimate Terrain - I don't really do VFR flights). Should I install these VFRTexturesVolxsetup files as well? The default scenery at Burbank is all messed up. I get no runways. The problem is I had a saved flight using the BUR2005 scenery. I then switched to a different scenery file. I reloaded the flight and I saw that the buildings were default, but the taxiways were the same and there was no runway. The only way it looked normal was from higher up, but when you approach the runway, it dissappears. Anyone know what the problem is?Thanks,Nick

As stated in the subject, when I reload a flight previously saved in order to continue, I have found that some times the plane tends to veer to rigth, as soon the autopilot is turned off. The flights were saved in route, autopilot on. Actually I have observed this condition with the Mooney Bravo, but I can't discard it happens with other crafts. Also, disabling the joystick is of no use. It doesn't appear to be related with winds or weather conditions, as far as the plane keep turning all the time. Pressing Num-5 has no effect.Any hint, please?Thanks in advance,JAMM

How do I get Ai Traffic to show their destination and what airline they are?

I have seen in some posts that i could use SHIFT+E to simulate the open doors, but Im not able to have this effect and also looking at the controls assignment i cant find that.Hope in some helpThanks in advance

There appears to be so many of these addons to improve the flight and/or ground textures, that it is difficult to know what to settle on. I have a faster computer now and have decided to stick with FS9 (it's apparently still not fast enough for FSx) - so I am looking for differnt flight and ground textures. I have seen many freeware and payware ones.So what are your opinions - and specifally , what is the difference between Activesky Graphics and Flight Environment?Thanks Barry

I am a big fan of Mel's 777 series, and have been eagerly awaiting the new releases he announced seemingly years ago. We haven't seen anything new from him in years, and he doesn't update his website (www.meljet.com) anymore, nor does he answer Emails. Is he just not making FS models anymore? Has he been too busy with his personal life? Is he ok?Just curious, I fouund it strange that such a talented modeler would just disappear overnight. Anyone know?Thanks.GB

Hello all ... I'm still a noob at flightsimming. When landing using ILS, about 50-100 ft AGL, I turn off the autopilot. Immediately my plane lurches upwards and I have a hard time controlling it (either it goes into stall mode or veers off course). All the guides I have read say I should turn off autopilot just before the landing at around 50-100 AGL depending upon the plane size I guess. (Right now I use either cessna172 or barron58). What am I doing wrong? I am assuming that my elevators are not set properly (i.e., they are in nose-up position). But how can I set my elevators to default position before turning off autopilot?(apologies if this is not the right forum…

Ey there guys.... i would love to know how to do Wing Views... i completely understand the concept to modify the panel.cfg file... but how do you know the coordinates for it? Do you use some kind of program to write it in a file?.Ty in advance.

Is it possible to use addon scenery with other addon scenery. Im trying to use the BUR2005 addon scenery with a whole bunch of AFCAD's that update gates and parking assingments. The problem is that I can only use one at a time. Is it possible to use BUR2005 with a whole bunch of AFCAD's. I hope my question makes sence.

HelloI have been messing around with my XP and fs to see how to increase perf.I have noted these fact.It is best to run FS2004 in admin user account, why? I checked affnity for fs9.exe and it had CPU0 and CPU1, to increase perf. I set fs9 to run in realtime (or above normal) and I found a extra 10% increase in combined CPU useage. Did the frame rates change much, no but it still felt better and smother during sharp turns. Now the problem is if you try and paly in limited user account you cannot change and setting. Note you cannot use "run as" either since that only runs fs9 as admin.krishan

I've had this aircraft for quite sometime, but never have really used it other than to fly the occasional pattern and for screenshots. Changed that tonight...If you know how just about any autopilot works, just not the acars and ons, take the tutorial created by coolsky. This aircraft is a joy! I'm finally able to enjoy and fly it since it's release. Really is a sweet plane!Anyways, thought I'd share my opinion real quick. I'm off to taco bell. Sort of hungry at the moment. :9

I have downloaded and installed the freeware sim iFly B747-400. I am having difficulty bringing up the various panels. I cannot find anywhere on the main panel where I can click to bring up the throttle panel, overhead panel etc. I am forced to go to the FS9 tool bar and click on VIEWS/INSTRUMENT PANEL. The sim comes with a PDF manual but none of this is explained.I also installed Sevice Pack 2 for this sim. Now when I select the IFly B747-400 in FS9 I crash to the desktop.Any help would be appreciated.Stanner

I can't exactly remember but I'm sure I had Landing and Taxi lights, visible from the 2D cockpit, previously. Well, they're not there now and I have done so much modification to quite a few aircraft that I think it might just be my fault. They don't even work in the default Cessna.I can't use the Virtual Cockpit on many of the payware models I fly because of the inadequacy of my GPU and I've only just begun to enjoy flying at night. Does anyone have any clue as to what I've broken?Jon
