Maybe a silly question but since im getting a new pc (with vista) with nice specs I would love to see fs9 in "full swing" if you know what I mean.Thanks in advance.

Hi fellow simmers,I do realy need help or some info on issue I got with this AC.1) 5-10 min into flight or just on the ground FS9 and Windows just freezes up with a kind of BIOS sound and not able to shot FS or Windows down without useing the power botton.2) If it does`nt freeze up after 5-10min a Windows error messege pops up ad informs that it have to shotdown FS (we all know that pop up messege). This happen during flight between 10-20min.I have had this product for about 1 - 11/2 year now and have only been able to pull one flight through from ESCK to EKVL in 3rd attempt.Today I did a flightplan from EKVL-EGDL. Apologies for what is probably a very newbie question.In the 737-400 I am having problems with increasing and decreasing heading, altitude, course etc etc.I can increase/decrease the heading by 10 degrees, but if i try to make a smaller adjustment (using Shift + =, Shift = -) it doesn't work.How do I set the heading selector box to something like 283 degrees?

Can someone do a small edit to the Wilco Jetblue airbus A320 paint.Is there anyone that could just make the winglet on the inside like it is in real life. http://www.airliners.net/open.file/1163916/L/ Because they made it blue on the outside which is right but it should not be blue on the inside. Can someone please make this change?

Hi!I wonder how you get the anti-aliasing to work in window mode? Am I wrong, or do you have to change something in the settings of the graphic card? If yes, is it possible to do the changes specificly for FS9? I would also like to know if you can delete profiles for the graphic card? I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT.

Hello,I am experiencing some problems with AFCAD 2.21. The modified afcad files from my addon folder are not appearing in AFCAD unless I specifically open the .bgl file associated with the addon scenery. AFCAD only seems to be looking in the default scenery folder of FS9 when searching for airports and is ignoring all the other .bgl files. What file does AFCAD use to collect its .bgl files from? I have the addon scenery folder at a higher level in the scenery library than the default world folder, is that a problem?Does having numerous traffic BGL files confuse AFCAD at all? I have over 30 traffic files in my FS folder.Could some please help me or direct me towards s…

To me it seems to take a little too long to get the TBM 700 and 850 to slow down for the flare during landing without floating.There are other turbo props in flight sim that exhibit the same tendency.It seems better when the condition lever (mixture) is pulled back to a ground idle position but I don't think it's correct to land this way when the aircraft is still airborne. It seems that the engine should still be in flight idle until firmly on the ground.What factors control this and is it part of flight tuning? thanks

FS9's ATC sometimes directs AI and user aircraft to runways that are more WITH the wind than against it. Does it just assign runways at random? Is there a minimum wind speed that's required to tip ATC which runway to assign?Thanks

I just departed KSFO 28L in terrible wx in the PMDG 744 pax. It was raining heavily with winds at 18k, gusting 30k. On takeoff roll, wind shifted in a huge arc from 236 deg to 320 by rotation, shifting 40 degrees between V1 and Vr. This was a horrific departure at MGTOW (870K lbs) but somehow it worked quite well, even with the air speed trend vector shifting +30 and -20-25 knots, sometimes covering a range 50 knots in under a second on climbout.This sim and these sophisticated add-ons are totally amazing. Also, you have to respect the folks who drive these gigantic flying machines with hundreds of us pax in the back. JS

Before I built a new computer with a complete re-install of FS9, I had a FS9 utility which placed a DLL inside the FS9 folder (I think) - this DLL tracked your a/c and placed the tower view at the airfield closest to your a/c while flying. This meant that when you arrived at your destination , you had a tower view relevant to that airfield.Any ideas of the name of this utility?Thanks Barry

Something that has been bugging me was when I turn the battery on, the ammeter shows almost midway on the plus side instead of a discharge condition with the engine stopped and alternator off. Can this be easily fixed?thankshttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/176344.jpg

I am trying to uninstall FS9 in order to re-install from scratch in order to eliminate a number of issues.My problem now is that I have uninstalled with the disk #1 and also went into add/remove programs for FSG, UT USA and BVU. I noticed that some files still exsisted in C drive programs MS games fs9 plus some other folders scattered around. Is there a program that will get rid of any folder that still exsist that is part of the fs9 family. I'm at a loss for this one. A couple months ago I noticed my screen suddenly got really jerky. It got so bad that I quit playing FS9 after a couple days TS. I decided to look at it again today and noticed that there isn't a graphics card listed in the graphics settings. I suspect that this is my problem but I cannot figure out how to get it listed again. I have a Radeon X800 GTO 256mb. Anyone out there with an idea short of reinstallation of FS9?
