Hi,Are helicopters with really smooth moving instruments existing for FS9?Hugo

Hi,does anyone know of any heliport scenery that is available for FS9, I have looked etc, but sometimes we miss the obvious.there just seems to be a complete lack of it altogether.many thanks.

Hey I like Computer Pilot Magazine (CPM), don't get me wrong. But since I'm not upgrading to FSX I find that CPM is becoming less relevant for me personally. They still do FS9 articles, but these are waning for the increasing FSX stuff. This is just the way it goes. It happened over time with FS2002 when 2004 showed up. So for now, I'll let that subscription retire. And the great thing is that we have AVSIM! It is much more relevant and in real time. Some of my a/c have a kind of "sound coming down a hollow tube " effect - I recall that when I purchased the Dreamfleet C310 , it had this and they issued a new sound file that fixed the problem.Does anybody know what causes this?Thanks Barry

Hello AllSimflight seems to have gone comatose so i thought i would try this here..... I am probably being IMMENSELY dim but i will ask the question nonetheless.I have a lot of IFDG and Project Airbus A320s and i use the well known panel by Ken Mitchell.Recently i have been trying the opensky A330 and Ken Mitchell also has a panel for that aircraft to.Both panels look identical and my question is this should i use the panel by Ken for the 330 or are 320 and 330 the same.I KNOW... DIM or what cheers Andy

Greetings all. A few months ago I found a pretty good freeware 717 that had a decent virtual cockpit. I accidently deleted it and now can not find it again. Does anyone know where I might find it? All I remember is that it had a VC quite similiar to the default Lear in both appearance and quality. Thanks.-Mike

I've been following the Airbus projects of Airliner XP and Airsimmer. They will both be excellent, but I doubt many will acquire both of them. From my perspective, I hope they are both very successful; they both proclaim to bring new advances to this hobby that have never been seen before. That could be hype, but I don't think so. They should both be out before year end and I think we are going to be astonished as to how good they are.Curt

Hey,I have just recently noticed a change in coloring and lighting with my FS9. I will really notice it on clouds, and around the sun and as well on around any lighting. I have some pics attached to show you what I am talking about. I had tried to fix this problem by restarting flight simulator thinking maybe its a 3rd party add on screwing with it. That is not the case. I have played with all the graphical settings to try to get better results but none seem to work. I am thinking it has to do with color quality and I am running 32 bits of colors using a 7900 GT Over clocked video card which is perfect for this game. Does anyone know of a fix after looking at these pics?

Hello.If any of you are using the KBWI scenery from Foxtrot Sierra could you maybe point out to me where the deicing stations are from the picture posted at http://foxtrotsierra.org/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaB...?num=1186457915According to their documentation they are supposed to be there but I don't see them anywhere. I'm not sure if I'm missing some oftheir files or what. I downloaded from their website so you'd think it would contain everything but I don't know.Any help would be appreciated.Thanks!

Does anybody recognize these cirrus clouds and what file or fix they're from? I can't figure it out, and it's driving me nuts!I'm running WideView and I have these beautiful cirrus clouds on my client computer (Left View Comp2.jpg), which is about a year old but I can't get them on my newer, faster, stronger server computer, no matter what I do (View Forward Comp1.jpg and View Right Comp1.jpg). All files are duplicated exactly across the two machines -- or so I thought. Weather and clouds are all set identical.I DON'T have ActiveSky, but I do have Ground Environment Pro, RealEnvironment Pro and Ultimate Terrain. I'm in the process of replacing most of my UT AI models with freeware ones (ie-Aardvark,Evolve,etc). Those of you that have said that this is addictive aren't kidding. My questions are, why are some, not all, of these models showing up in the main FS9 Aircraft Selection Screen? And, is there a way to delete them from there, since I have no intention of "flying" them in the sim?I'm looking to keep my setup as clean as possible so as to reduce loading times.Thanks in advance for any solutionsJohn M

Hi all, I think this might have been discussed before? I save a flight in FS9 say with A330/340 and when I want to continue it at a later date the complete flight as I saved it isn`t present ie the mcdu doesn`t continue as I left it. Is there a way around this? I just keep flying halfway to nowhere and nowhere ain`t an interesting place to land. Thanks for any help Alan

Does anyone know how accurate the timekeeping is within FS9? I am aware that it lags behind real time somewhat, but I thought this was due to the fact that it slows down or stops during a flight as scenery is loaded or paused to keep the flight time realistic. In other words, if you're not moving, neither is the time. This makes sense. I have FS Realtime installed which keeps the time coordinated with real world UTC time, but I was always wondering how accurate FS's time is compared to a real world flight given the exact same weather and flight conditions for any given aircraft. All of a sudden I cannot input negative vsi on my planes.Say I have the AP on and using the vsi to adjust my fpm to climb.No problem. Holds that fpm and levels off at my preset altitude.However, if I try to decend, if I roll or click the vsi negative it simply pops back to either + or 0.Ive checked trims. Disabled joystick and AP and the plane stays level.Never had this problem before so i suspect something I loaded is causing this. Jim

Hi all,Spent quite some time installing all the World of AI aircrafts. I have set my AI traffic density all the way to 100% in the fs9 settings. However, at JFK or Heathrow or any other major airport, I still get only 7 or 8 (if I am lucky, maybe 10 or 11) AI aircraft (I counted them using the top down view of the airport). Seems rather sparse. I was expecting to see at least 50-60+ aircraft parked in such airports like in real life. Anything I am doing wrong? Or do I just wait for a while till some AI aircrafts land and populate the airport? Do I need to also install some other AI package (like Project AI or something?) to get the desired effects?

can anyone help me? I did a search of the forum but can't find anything. FS9 has suddenly stopped letting me change the amount of fuel in the aircraft. You can adjust i the amounts in the menu but when you press ok an error comes up stating 'Please enter an amount between 0 and 10049' but no matter no matter what number s you enter it keeps repeating until you press cancel. Hey All,I'm having a weird issue. My computer will not sync it's time with the servers that allow it. Both "time.windows.com" and "time.nist.gov" keep saying "an error occurred while synchronizing with "address here" server".Anyway to fix this?

Hey guys, I have a quick simple question about the iFly 747's FMC.Is there a way to get destination airport information? specially the ILS frequencies of the runways? I hate having to go to the map screen and clicking on the airport to find out, and if I recall correctly an FMC should be able to provide you that info after you select a runway for landing, I just don't know how to do it.
