Is there anyway to add glass reflection to the default 172 like the freeware Cessna 150 thats out there? I really like the realism of the glass effect and want to put it in the FS9 C172 default. Can it be brought over from FSX?

Hi Everyone, I am keen to download some of the soaring scenery files included in todays listing. I note that a base file called "CCS2k4.exe" is required. Does anyone know how to get it? I have tried the CCS home page but it is not apparent how to download it. I assume that it is payware. Any ideas?

After reading about Alphasim releasing the 'Gripen' I downloaded the video of it together with the Eurofighter and Rockwell B1B video's.While watching them I became so annoyed that at no time could you hear the sounds of these aircraft, just music that was supposed to entertain us?When are these and other people, going to realise that we want to hear ALL that we're getting for our money?

Because of the mountains to the immediate south of SVMI, some AI planes don't make it. I know there's a way to 're-route' their approach pattern but is it a complicated process? It's a nice aiport to fly in and out of but many of the AI's that make it past the mountains come in at too high of an altitude to make a landing and have to go missed. Any workaround?Thanks

I have noticed several "tweeks" to adjust the cfg's in the 350 to make it more realistic to the speed you you see when at cruise alt.So as an example with the cruise alt of FL240 (I am trying say 24 thousand ft) and lets say for the discussion the B Presure is (I think standard is 29.) I may be off a bit here but in FS9 at FL240 one could press the "b" key and then I am hoping that allows use here in forums to be able to see the simulair results.In FS9 at FL240 in the King Air 350 at 50% fuel, and the wt as follows (seat 1 lets say is 170lbs, seat 2 = 120lbs and lets place 70lbs in the last seat to represent bags ect. I went to load up a flight earlier today out of Nellis AFB. When it finally loaded I was in the middle of the desert instead of being at the beginning of the active runway. What happened to my Nellis AFB scenery? Help Please?

Just Reformatted and reinstalled FS9.Included are FSGenesis Landclass and mesh, Ultimate Terrain, USA Roads, and Manhattan Scenery.Many objects are under water, the statue of liberty pad is bare, and there are no Ellis Island buildings.Long ago, I found a work around or fix for this, but this old memory cannot remember what it was. I have disabled combinations or all of the above and still all is not right.Anyone remember how to remedy this?Thanks:RTH

I have searched eveywhere - so I don't believe there is one. I have been reading and working through the manual and checklists - but am finding it hardgoing. This is a brilliant freeware a/c - it really has a "feel" about it - the quality of the VC and sound package alone are enough for me to place it is the "must have " category. I have managed to start it and get it off the ground - but would love a bit of assistance in the form of a flight tutorial. Anybody know of anything around??Thanks Barry

Hi there.I was wondering if anyone could help me with an annoying problem I'm having. I'm running FS2004 (FS9) under Microsoft Windows Vista and every now and then the simulator will freeze and the sound it was playing at the time will keep repeating, rather like a stuck record! There is no way out of it except to pull the plug out!! I have an ATI Radeon graphics card and Realtek High Definition audio - latest drivers for both these are already installed. The problem seems to occur mostly when playing back videos through FSRecorder, but not exclusively so. Has anyone come across this or has any information about this problem? I seem to recall reading somewhere that you can cut and paste the facilities data (such as ATIS, COMM and ILS frequencies) from the FS9 Map view into a briefing file that can be viewed during flight by accessing the Briefing page of the FS9 kneeboard. I know the procedure for creating a briefing file, but can't find a way to cut and paste the facility data from the Map view. I click on the airport icon, which then pulls up all of the NAV and COMM frequencies for the airport. However, when I highlight the data, I can't access a "cut and paste" command. Does anybody have a suggestion on how to do this (if it can be done at all)?
