Haven't heard back yet from my e-mail to the company but they may just be busy. The FMC pack from the Friendly Panels gang looks very attractive - but not so much if they can only use the built-in FS nav data (which is sorely out of date for FS9 but will eventually get just as bad for FSX). Does anyone know whether these gauges run off the FS nav data or can be updated with new AIRAC cycles?

Hi all,I'm looking for some help with Harald's new A300-622F model and the nice panel by Simon.here are my issues:1. cannot trim the plane at all!2. autopilot will not hold a speed or altitude with or without VS enabled3...is there a way to get fuel to show in lbs?

Can anyone help me determine the source of this error message?I see it when loading an aircraft with a couple of addon panels. Note that is does not refer to a specific missing file nor is it the message you see if FSSound is not installed.The panels in question are recent uploads to the library and are apparently based on older sim versions but there are nosound files involved. I am guess that one or more of the gauges must be referencing a non-existant wav file - but that is only a guess.A screenshot of the error message is attached.Any thoughts?

I've got GE Pro and UT installed, and I'm wondering what causes the blurries on the ground. Within about 2 miles of my plane, the ground looks awesome, nice detail and everything, then there is a definite line where it becomes more blurry out to about 5 miles, and then beyond that there is a visible cutoff where it becomes super blurry and no detail is visible. What causes this? What fixes it? My system is definitely up to the task of rendering it, it's a relatively powerful system. How do I fix this?

I have been doing some scenery designing lately and ran into a problem with an AFCAD. Using Instant Scenery, I placed a few objects, one being a parking garage near a hospital. Then on top of the parking garage I placed a helicopter pad. The chopper pad is hard so that I can land on it without sinking through. After this I created an AFCAD for the hospital (University Medial Center in Tucson, AZ - 5AZ4) using the lat and long coordinates from a centered spot on top of the pad, also including the altitude. The problem is when I begin a flight and select 5AZ4, when the flight loads I begin on the ground under the parking garage and not on top of the helipad. I can't underst…

On fs every time i go anywhere near edingburgh in scotland it just crashes to the desk top with no error message or anything..now i have a freeware addon scenery for edingburgh but its worked fine up until now..also its even if im crusing over the city in the mid 30s it still crashes which makes me think the addon isnt the problem. what do you think ?

Hi GuysI'm (still) thinking about adding a second monitor, stretched horizontally, to my system to give an effective resolution of 2560 x 1024.As I fly exclusively using the virtual cockpit, my one concern is the "split" down the center that will occur when the two monitors are butted up to each other. In particular, the distraction that this may cause during landings.Just wondering if anyone is using such a setup and how they find the join of the two monitors during the more crucial stages of the flight.Many thanksGary

I bought the Maddog 2004 about a year ago, I merged it with JCA and all worked fine. I had installed V1.50 and the upgrade to v1.51I then wanted to make some space on my hard disk, so I de-installed the Maddog, using the de-install routine.Now I re-installed it: re-downloaded the installer files from the Lago page. I then also installed latest AIRAC by running the PMDG AIRAC install utility downloaded from Navigraph. But now, everytime I select the Maddog in the aircraft selection field in FS, FS crashes to desktop. THe same thing happens when I select a merged JCA plane. Crash to desktop. Just curious if I'll have any problems running this combination? I don't have FS2Crew yet, just ordered it today, but I got to thinking about a review I read of it that said something like "it's even compatible with the default ATC" which got me thinking that because they bothered to remark on this, it might NOT be compatible with Radar Contact 4? Anyone else running this combo successfully?

Is it possible to reinstall or repair a current installation of FS9? I am trying to reinstall the default scenery because Nellis AFB does not exist anymore.

Installed afg_b300_v10.zip from the avsim library. Great GA aircraft. Especially, with the v1.01 update, it flies very smooth. However, one thing that disturbs me is that its engine sounds are the same whether I press F1 (complete idle) or F4 (full throttle) keys. Same thing when I press F2 or F3 to throttle down/up ... the engine sounds remains the same and there is no audio feedback. Any thing that can be done about this ?

Hey!How can I build waypoints in AI flightplans?I want my aircraft change direction and/or height during the AI flight. Is there a possibility, I guess it is possibk-le with Afcad files, but how to create such a file? To open another thread concerning this superb add-on effect from the great Posky team - and with the greatest respect to you jet jockeys ;-) - has anyone successfully been able to add this to the PMDG B1900C ? I don't have an awful lot of hair left (not that I had much to start with.....) after trying every which way but loose to add into the relevant areas, so if anyone can have sympathy with my scalp and assist in any way, I would really appreciate it.My thanks in advanceKevin

Hi, i downloaded dreamwings Fokker 50 (and a repaint for VLM airlines) and then i needed a panel for it, i was only able to find one at fokker 50 panel project, so i got that, then got the most recent update and all seemed to be ok (once i figured how to start the engines!) but i soon discovered whenever i try and use the map or GPS it causes major glitches, ie the primary flight display goes a bizzare colour (changes from bright yellow to beige) or the screen goes black then i get the microsoft flight simulator error message and i have to restart it.I dont know if this is a problem with the aircraft or the panel, i think its probably the panel and it seems that the perso…
