Can anybody confirm that real world weather is not downloading today?

I read the article on avsim about the new Alphasim He-111. Shots were too cool to be believed so I bought this bird despite its inflated cost (42 USD) for a simple ww2 bomber. Anyway, its a beauty. Truly deserves to be flown from VC. Nice skins, great model. The FDE is said to be accurate. I can state its a bit of a (w)itch to fly. Accelerated stalls are EASY to get trapped into. She is a bit nervous in trimming too. Stall recovery is difficult at best. Stall down low and you are dead. No recovery possible.I know this is said to be an accurate flight model, but I wonder. After reinstalling FS9 and Do27 it looks partly bad. Look at the pics showing VC and side view. I didn't have these problem before. I post here also sence I couldn't upload pictures in the Do27 support forum.

Hi,I'm considering to buy a few sound packages from Turbine Sound Studios, specifically the 737 and MD packages.Does anyone has experience with these packages? How is the quality (I did listen to the YouTube recordings, but they are recorded mostly outside the aircraft) and can they easily be merged with payware cockpits like MD2006, PMDG 737NG and Feelthere PIC737.Your advice is highly appreciated.

After reinstalling FS9 I see no aircraft spinning around in the preview window when creating flight or selecting an aircraft if I use fullscreen mode. But the plane becomes visible if I switch to windowed mode. Also I have found that the problem turns up if I use two monitors. But I have used two monitors before without this problem with FS9 (but with FSX). I had the same resolution and refrshrate on both monitors. I tried starting FS in single monitor mode and then switching to dual monitor. Result I got part of the desktop in the preview window. I never solved the problem with FSX but it has worked with FS9 and I use NVIDIA drivers 84.21 since this problem occured with …

Can anybody recommend a first class panel for a Cessna Citation II? Im talking a good old school panel. I know edetroit has one of his own. Thats what Im looking for in terms of quality detail.Any recommendations?Eric

If I have a video card with 2 heads, could I still stretch my desktop over 3 monitors by using a Matrox Dual Head to Go on one video output, and just hook my 3rd monitor up to the 2nd output?Do I really need a Triple Head To To to stretch across 3 monitors on one computer? Hi,I've downloaded the TU-134 of SCS. When I want to fly with it, the engines stop immediatly. When using CTRL + E the engines won't start, the only try to start. What can I do about it?greetings

Hi everyone.I could do with some help please.All of a sudden my scenery is all over the place. The main airport I fly from (EGNM) has buildings and trees in the middle of the apron and runways, Also, the aiport building has dissapeared.Is there a file i can replace from the CD to fix this or am I looking at a re-install?Thanks in advance for any help.Colaboy.

I am looking for a good A320 for FS2004 with a good flight model, clear virtual cockpit and great sounds; I fly exclusively in the VC in FS9. It need not have a fully functional McDoo as I don't really have the time for all the "homework" associated with mastering it. There's a nice looking A320 at JustFlight but I cannot see who developed it. I have the CLS A340-500/600 and enjoy it quite a bit. I guess I'd like an equivalent of it in the A320 type.Any suggestions welcome, thanks!JS

Since I DID pay for it and can PROVE it, and FFS has left us holding the bag, I don't think it would be unethical for someone who has the FFS SAAB340 to send me the installer and their code so I could have it back, do you? Anyone help me out here? I'll pay for the CD and the shipping.My computer blew it's harddrive. We copied it EXACTLY onto a new HD, but my SAAB won't work. I unfortunately never noticed my receipt doesn't have the reg code on it, and somehow I missed backing up the installer. So I am SOL unless someone can help me out.JCH

After I installed this panel with the POSKY 757 the rudder doesn't seem to work. The turn coordinator on the panel also doesn't move at all. The readme said to switch the provided aircraft.cfg with the one included with the panel download, but won't that cause some problems? I'm using customized flight dynamics and I think his .cfg file is for a PW powered 752, while the one I'm using is for a RR powered one. So I'm a little confused here.

Hi, every time I click on the Sound tab in fs9 settings, it shuts fs9 down with the error.....AppName fs9.exe...AppVer.9.1.0.4091...ModName fsui.dll...ModVer.9.1.0.4091. If I don't touch the sound tab, fs9 runs fine. Any idea's would be more than welcome...Thanks.Russell.

Hi Everyone,I'm going to build a new system in a month or so, and I pretty well have figured out the hardware configuration and build process. My question is - what's the best way to install all my purchased FS9 add-ons to the new system? I have aircraft from FSD, Dreamfleet, PSS, Realair, plus utilities like FSNAV, AV6, Active Camera, etc. I did backups on all these, including keys, to cd's. Should I uninstall all the above from the old computer first? Will I need new keys because it's a different processor and OS? (I plan to buy another copy of Win XP Home) I plan on staying with FS9 for some time to come. (I will uninstall my current FS9 and then install it in the new …

Hello allI am using PMDG 737-800 NG and have done so for a number of years.A problem has occurred with the panel light. When I turn on the switch on the OHP, the panel lights do not come on.Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you. ALAN WATSON.

I have reinstalled FS9.1 and I'm using CH Flight rudders with FSUIPC.After calibration I see BRAKES written in the lower left corner all the time. If I press one of the toebrakes on the rudder it changes to differential brake. If I press both toebrakes BRAKES ON is written (as it is supposed to) but if I release both toebrakes still BRAKES ON. From what I remember a calibration and a null zone solved this before but not now. Why?

I'm having a problem with OOM. I can fly exactly 10 mins and then I get the OOM error. I can't figure this out? I've been flying FS since 2002 and have never had this problem. I never had it with FS2k2 or FS2k4. I have a top of the line CPU and shouldn't be having this problem.I'm using F1 ATR and FSCrew ATR...I follow the same procedures I've been following since Oct 05 (when I got the ATR)...now, I can only go 10 mins before I get OOM message. I've resorted to opening Windows Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and watching the "Process" tab...the memory usage is unbelievable! It's like watching an electric meter...it's just spinning away...2Gs don't last long.This is wh…

Hello all,I am the maintenance training coordinator for Peninsula Airways here in Alaska and am also the Pilot and mechanic sim training support staff. We have 8 saabs, both A and B models currently in our fleet and would like to include a Saab 340 into our PC-ATD that has fs2004 so I can use it as a training aid for ground mechanics on general information. My question is this: Is there a Saab 340 out there that has a decent portrayal of the flightdeck panels and a fairly close representation of system operations?Any suggestions to point me in the right direction would be appreciated. I think I'd like to try putting FSX on my computer, but FS9 will remain the primary simulation program. Will there be ANY conficts having both on the same machine. I ask this because I tried FSX once before, didn't like it, and when I uninstalled it actually messed up some of my FS9 registry files. Thoughts? Thanks.
