Ok, So I enjoyed the scenery, but after a month on not flying to the island, I figured I'd get ride of it, easy? NOTSo I went to the control panel and used the "add/remove programs" feature. Everything uninstalled, then the problems started.When I load FS, the first picture is the first thing that comes up.So ok, I'll go to the scenery and unselect the areas, not that easy! look at the other pictures.I've sent an email to Canary sim but have yet to hear from them, hopeing someone here can help!Thanks

Beautiful plane. Somebody did a edit to eliminate some of the window reflections in the VC view. Just cant find it anywhere.Anybody out there who can tell me how to do this???Thanks Paul

Hi,I noticed a weird behaviour of the loc for 2 ILS approaches (Napoli ILS06 and Dubai ILS30R).As the G/S indicator seems to work properly, the loc always indicates a path right of the actual runway track.As far as you might know, what could be the issue with these two approaches ?For information, I flew the PSS Airbus A319 for both of them.Thanks.

I bought a x52 around a year ago,back then I had CH yoke+throttle (still use them) and I was using the ch throttle but fed of it because it was too hard to reach,anyways,then plugged the x52 and assigned the throttle axis,WITHOUT INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE BUT JUST THE DRIVER,everything was working perfectly,sometimes I even plugged the joystick and assigned them and it used to work,the only thing was I INSTALLED SAITEK DRIVERS AFTER INSTALLING FS2004,and never needed the saitek software.Now I format my machine 3 days ago,this time I installed the saitek drivers BEFORE installing fs9.Now x52 just doesn't work with fs9.No stick movement,throttle just moves in 3 ways around th…

Greetings all. I am searching for something to help me learn navigation, such as the ADF, DME, and pretty much anything short of a GPS and FMC. I want to fly the GA birds without relying on a GPS. Is there anything better than the FS9 learning center? Thanks,-Mike

Hi to all and thanks for your time reading this,As I have added planes and scenery to fs9, fps has dropped and the time to load fs9 has gotten longer. I am sure that none of this is foreign to you. I had come to accept it as a side affect of customizing fs9 for my personal enjoyment.Then I started to experience CTD when switching from windowed mode to full screen. Since this happened regardless of where I was, when I was there, and what plane I was flying at the time I was lost as to the cause. Could not blame it on scenery as I experienced it everywhere I tried it. Nor could I blame it on a certain airplane because I fly several. Turned off AI, did not help.Just when I w…

I noticed that on some planes having the yaw damper on renders the rudder next to useless (like the DF727 and the TM2) and on others (PMDG, LVD, FT737) it has little effect on the rudder.Question time.Is it that the older airliners had it on only for use of the autopilot? And, it has a differnet effect now on the newer planes (suggesting that this has been modeled into the mentioned flight simulator planes)?Or is it cowinkydink that only these two older birds (from what I fly) really put a dead zone on the rudder when it's "on"?With both the DF727 and the TM2 I shut the Y/D off when I'm on finals and hand flying it in, more so needed with a crosswind. I've mounted a FS9 installation by copying all the files from the original package to a bootable DVD, including the autorun.inf file.As happens with the installation via CD's, setup.exe halts after opening a window with 4 buttons, including a "Run now" button.Clicking on this button, the installation proceeds, but therefore disk4 MUST BE IN THE DRIVE!Well, we all know that replacing the just installed fs9.exe file by another downloadable one with the same name, (which could also been put on our installation DVD), the installation proceeds as well, and FS9 runs 100 %. Using Ctr/C & CTrl/V this replacement is very easy and works fine. QUESTION :Could somebody help to…

Just curious what are some good freeware light piston twins. I've already spent way more $$$ on FS9 than I ever thought would be possible but I realized the one thing that is missing from my stable is a good light twin engine. Suggest some for me, either turbine or piston. I'm thinking along the lines of planes like the cessna 310s, 402s, 421s, 441s, Piper Seneca, Chieftain, Beech Baron, etc. Not willing to spend money one one right now but I'd like a nice free one to do some pretend Part-135 ops.

anyone installed fs with damon tools virtual drive?I'm reinstalling fs but cant get most of the default scenery to show up (but it does work when I load from my cds)

I was wanting to see if any one had any known info for add on cfg's or other data that would help the defualt King Air 350 fly more to real specs. I am aware of the Great B200 Extreem and have it, but agian was trying to "tweek" the Defualt 350. I'm getting a new pc soon. The store will install windows XP Home that I got for my old system.They will transfer all data from my old hd to the new hd.Question is- what happens to fs9 and the tons of addons. Is the transfer going to move fs as is, or will I have to reinstall everything from scratch?Eytan Ornstein

I am running FS9 on a dual monitor testbed for my Lear 45 simpit construction project. I'm running with 4 GO-FLIGHT modules (although the throttle quad has to be sent back due to a squirrely USB connector). However, I note that as I run the sim, flying any plane, with dual screen or not...as time passes, my frame rates decrease. I have a great add-on airliner in Fs9 that makes virtually silent landings when inside the cockpit. I can neither hear nor "feel" when the mains hit the concrete unlike with many other FS9 aircraft and add-ons which have an audible thump or rumble. As a result, I never know exactly when I've made contact with Mother Earth when I flare and close the throttles and it is disconcerting. Is there some way to fix things so that I can hear and/or "feel" the touchdown sound from within the cockpit? I thought there might be an obvious edit in the aircraft.cfg file but am not sure now. Appreciate any suggestions or advice, thanks!JS

Hi folks,I have a problem with Fs9 loading weather/clouds, my FPS die from around a steady 25 to 8 for up to 30 seconds. This problem only occurs when actually looking at the sky if I quickly look down at the vc instrument panel the FPS instantly return to 25, when the slow down has fininshed FPS return to normal values when looking at the sky,if I set only one layer of cloud it does not occur or turn off Anisotropic filteringThe strange thing is that I have just install a 320 STATA 11 hard disk,up from a 40 gig IDE, the 40 gig IDE had exactly the same device drivers (chip/video), same sim weather display / cfg tweak settings as before, same settings addon weather engine …

Since two day i am experiencing a real strange problem: any flight i do and with any jet aircraft, after 5-10 minutes (the interval time changes time by time) my jets shut-down and i have to restart them (hopefully before to crash).Some ideas about what can cause this problem to me?Thanks for any helpJoe
