I recently installed the freeware Suisse 2004 package. However, I am finding that when I attempt to start a flight from some of the airports included e.g. Geneva, Lausanne, La Cote, Schanis etc it results in a CTD followed by tell Microsoft about this problem whereas other airports included in the package seem to be OK. Has anyone else experienced this problem or have any idea what is causing it.RegardsTrevorbee

Hi all, I downloaded most of the USA mesh scenery from FS Genesis from here at avsim however at certain airports I start to bounce at the airport even during the takeoff roll. Is there a solution to this?Thanks,Bill

I do not care for the some of the forest textures in FS9. So I tried some FSX textures and found them more to my liking. I would suggest the 027b2su1.bmp series in the World/Texture folder (FS9 & FSX). Backup the set (numbers 1 thru 7) of the FS9 textures then COPY (do not move) the same named textures from the FS9 scenery/world/texture folder to the same folder in FS9. If you do not like them just copy the backed-up FS9 folder into the fs9 world/texture folder.This can be done for any typical texture such as small cities, deserts, etc. It may be done for all or some seasons as well. Hi,How to update FS9 in order to use new navaids and approach patterns? There is a freeware user-created add-on scenery (AirHispania SC) that updates these items for many Spanish airports. For example, it includes a new ILS for runway 27 of LEAB (Albacete), but:- it isn't shown in the frequency list for the airport in the default GPS (but it's shown in the FSNavigator map)- you are not given the option for an ILS approach, but just a visual approachThanks in advance,JAMM

I have been to anticyclones home page but there support is down, so i need to find an alternative. Hi all I am having a problem installing heathrow 2008....and I am sure its that nasty windows vists account settings..when I right click on the setup.exe file to bring up properties I then click on the compatibility tab....the box I NEED to check, I think, is the ''run as administrator'' box but it won't let me..its greyed out...how do i check this box..I have full admin rights right now which I thought allows me to do anything?? please, if anyonme can help me it would be much appreciated!

i just downloaded the Dreamwings dash 8-100/200... and they bounce so much!i remember that there was a fix for that.. but i cant find it anymore...anyone know how to fix the bouncing dash

Dear members,Recently I've encoutered a strange problem- when I open one of the simulator's windows to undock them to another screen, there is a vertical strech limit for some reason. I can strech the windows horizontaly without a limit, but I cant strech them vertically enough. I must resize the FMC in order to view it properly in my CDU display screen (5" LCD screen).It appears to happen even in the main screen, without the second one powered on.Thank you all.

Hi all,Seems I have lost my default guages for the LOCKEEED VEGA and the BEECH KINGAIR..I know they are on one of the discs that came with FS2004. Or if I could find the complete aircraft files and reinstall them, that would work too.Many thanks for your help.JimMesaArizona

all, Not sure if anyone is having the same problem i am having but the setup.exe program is not working when I try to run it....I am using windows vista and I simply get an error stating "this program stopped working.'" anyon else experincing the same problem...?

has anybody been successful at downloading the AI malcontent base model for the B762 at their web site? I cant get it to download despite being able to grab the repaints no problem. I cant believe their server is getting hammered for days on this. I did suggest an upload to the avsim lib might be a good idea!!Eric

I'm presently at 7,000 feet and heading to Branson, Missouri for some gambling, dining, and taking in a show or three in the Las Vegas of the East.I have just cleared the southern most shore of Lake Erie, and it is a fine flight, but for some turbulence noticed via a rogue storm cell I passed East of.Looking down from the B300, I thought to myself, how great it would be if you could see a red TAG identifying the cities and towns below you. Like, they could be linked to that graphic that denotes and renders a town or city centre.Now..THAT would be so cool! HiI have been using PAI Packages for AI aircraft. However I would now like to get rid of some - not all - of these and haven't a clue as to how to do so. Does anyone know of a source of step by step instructions for this? In the instructions that come with TTools it talks about compiling and decompiling but I don't fully understand this - thick I know!!Ian
