I am trying to merge Fanda's panel into my Dreamwings Dash 8's (both my 200 and 400) but keep getting a CTD whenever I load the a/c up...does anyone have the file or the procedure for a proper merge for these two?

Lawrie is to be congratulated for using some artistic licence and creating an airport on Stewart Island. However, for those who want it to be 'as real as it gets' the buildings will have to be excluded as there are none on the airstrip. Stewart Island Flights will get you over there in about 20 mins from Invercargill Airport in a Britten Norman Islander and a great flight it is, especially in the co-pilot seat. You may even see whales in Foveaux Strait.Marcel Kuhnt's Britten Norman BN-2 Islanders are excellent freeware aircraft and make the sim flight even better.:-wave

Hi,I have an Innovatek 8" touchscreen monitor on which I would like to display my FMC in potrait mode. I have tried going into my Nvidia control panel and telling it to rotate the display 90 degrees, only to have it reply that the resolution is wrong. I have tried changing the resolution but to no avail. I can display the FMC on the monitor in landscape mode, but I think it would looke much more realistic in potrait mode.Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!Terry

I'm running FS9 in XP Pro and usually fly GA. I would like to find a 737 (any variant) which I can fly in pea soup all the way from Berlin to Stansted using the FMC. I hate stutters and I hate being all alone up in the sky. I have the PMDG 737-600/700 but my machine cannot handle it even in 2D mode. If I moved all the sliders to the left, turned off all AI, and flew in cloudless skies, without wind or weather, it might be flyable but...Freeware preferred. Payware only if it flies properly. hi i was near the end of my flight from dallas to boston i got to boutm 70 miles from boston and fs9 crashed i tryed this flight twice now in 2days trying to complete it but both times it has crashed near boston it seems that my fs9 does not like boston and new york area that muchanyone no what could be causing this thanks in advancejimmer

Has anyone discovered a way to change the default dimensions of the Kneeboard? I know it can be moved - but can the size be changed?This has been asked before (and everyone thought the size was hard-coded in FS) but thought I would ask again in case someone has figured out how to do it and I missed the answer.Thanks in advance.

I have both FS9 and FSX on my puter and fly both of them about equally. The one feature of FSX that I like is the mouse view option in VC that allows you to look around using the mouse. Is is possible to adapt this feature to FS9? Right now I use my yoke hat switch but prefer the FSX method.Thanks.Jim

I find the default panel lighting garishly bright. I learned how to modify the panel.cfg file, but it only seems to apply to the 'VFR' panel. The 'IFR' panel remains stubbornly unaffected. There is a panel.cfg file within the panel.ifr folder, but there doesn't appear to be any panel lighting settings in that file.Does anyone know if it's possible to modify the panel lighting for the IFR version, since this is the one I use most often?Thanks in advance!

I don't know where it has come from, but I've got an enormous aircraft carrier slewed across the 34 runway at Seattle. I'd rather not have it there, so if anyone can help me remove it (it's a bit too heavy for me to shift it on my own) I shall be very grateful.Jock

I reinstalled FS9 on a new computer and everything is going just fine but when I installed GA-Traffic (a program I can't live without for my AI general aviation traffic) when it's loading the airports the program stop working. So I can't use it...I've tried reinstall, running as Admin, Allow User access in the security tab, running in windows xp compatibility, everything.If someone could help me please or could anyone recommend a good solution to replace GA-Traffic (I'm already using Ultimate Traffic for my commercial AI and UltimteGA stuff for my Bizjets. I just want cessnas and pipers at my small airfields.By the way GA-Traffic always stop working at Hounde airport (???…

Hi,I found the 737 classics of the Vistaliners and them they are pretty and well build, however do not possess wingview! Exists some way to apply they?Only Cantu can give wingviews or have a way like hexadecimal edit for active wingview when i press shift 1 or 3 for see?

I am on pause in a flight from KDTW to KLAS. At FL340 I'm having some bump 'n grind flying a Lear. Lots of lightning flashes that could become nasty! All,I have seen a couple of merges, and some work great...and others don't. Wouldn't it be great if the major freeware developers could engage to compile the ultimate freeware 747 package...:)I continue to work on mine...but I am foggy about the copyright issues, and am afraid to upload any of my progress. My progress is "very" minor compared to what has gone in to this wonderful panel...and the work on the POSKY 747's. Today I installed sone new AI and when I went to Duluth International to see some of the planes there was no runways, taxiways, or buildings. I don't have any mesh or scenery in the area, but the only thing I have is a custom AFCAD for Duluth. When I deleted the custom AFCAD the airport was still missing.Any clue what is going on? What can I do to get the airport back?
