Has anyone come across a website that has current ATIS feeds for airports? It would be nice during non-VATSIM multi-player flights with real weather to know which runways are currently in use.

Has anyone been able to make the I3D B-1 work well in FS9? Are there any textures for the virtual cockpit yet?

Is it possible to have Ai Traffic fly a specific route. That is depart rwy, fly direct to a nav fix, then a specific airway to destination.

clicking the green VOR/ILS button on the dash doesn't seem to be working... I remember I did it once somehow. I pressedit and it switched to GPS (blue light)anyone have a clue why I can't get this to work? yes, i have a FP loaded on the GPS :)

Right now I am only flying FSX but I am seriously considering switching back to FS9. I was hoping to pick the brains of the community that know a lot more about computers then me. My C drive crashed and I have now installed a new 500 gig Seagate Drive and re-installed XP ect. I had backed up the entire FS-9 folder so I have it on two other drives and was wondering what the best way to re-stroe it would be. I understand I will have to re-install my payway stuff but I am trying to avoid doing all my add-onn sceneries. I also have the CFG backed up somewhere but can't find it yet. Any suggestions would be great and thanks in advance.Shayne

Is there any way FS2004 can be configured to handle group landings of AI planes? i.e. a squadron of F/A-18's.At present the MSFS system requires landed planes to clear the runway before the next aircraft can land and that is fine for civilian airports, however military aircraft (particularly fighter planes) are generally not restricted in this way.The ideal would be for such planes to land with a limited spacing of say a few hundred yards or metres from each other. This would result in a line of planes landing on the strip as in real life.Can this be done?

I havent really been using FSX all that much so I have decided to uninstall it for two reasons. One is that I just havent been using it so why should I leave it installed. Second and more important though is that I was wondering if uninstalling it would make FS2004 run any better. I works fine now, but I was wondering if that would increase frame rates, especially when using Ultimate Traffic. Will uninstalling FSX make a difference? Also, how do you uninstall it. I can't find anywhere saying "Uninstall Microsoft Flight Simulator X." Thanks!Nick

This might seem a pretty silly question, but I'm a novice at this game.Having downloaded a set of flight plans, I used a traffic editor to assign the correct aircraft, but one with a different AC# number to the one specified in the original file. Having done that, and saved both the aircraft and flightplan files with the new number, I then ran TrafficTools to compile the new file into a bgl.However when I did this, a dialog appeared (see attachment) which stated that the flightplan list contained an aircraft which was not in the aircraft.txt file. Which file does this refer to, and is it updated automatically, or do I have to do it manually for each and every set of fligh…

As part of my fs experience, I currently use Radar Contact. In the RC manual, it has tutorials for both FS Build and FS Navigator for flight planning tools. Which do you prefer and why? Which has more features? Which is easiest to use? I am interested in creating trans Atlantic flights. I just need some input to decide which to consider.Thanks in advance!RH

I recently suffered a corrupt file problem in Windows which prevented it loading on start up. In my ignorance I ran the restore disc,which wiped all my files including FS9 and all my add-ons. A local computer shop sorted out the initial problem and I am now up and running again. I have reinstalled FS9 from the original discs but all the default aircraft are a uniform grey and the scenery is almost nonexistent. Can anyone tell me what has happened? Am I restricted in reinstalling? If I can sort this out I can get started on getting back all my lovely add-ons!! Regards to all Reg

Is there a keyboard key sequence that turns down, or turns off runway lights?I have no runway lights for the Toronto City Center airport. I don't know if I (by accident) hit a key sequence that turned off the lights or muted the intensity.Does anybody know?Another question, can you adjust the landing (runway) light intensity via the config file?Under the Landing_Lights, I have a value of 1. Is there a way to set up two separate profiles for control sensitivity? I fly both the helos and the fixed wing A/C and need two different sensitivity settings but I don't want to have to come in and move sliders around everytime I change aircraft type. Any help would be appreciated... I'm also searhing the forums, haven't come across anything yet though. Thanks for your help!!!
