Hi all, I'm using SimWings Madrid scenery with ULTIMATE MADRID "GRAN BARAJAS" VERSION 3 added on. When I use Tower View with Autower I view from the old, I'm guessing Default, tower in the South East terminal area. When I view with autower removed I view from the new tower besides Terminal 4 North. I have only one LEMD afcad on the system. I've deleted the autower dll and re-initalised it and still after a brief instance of viewing as per the AFCAD it returns to the default view. Any offers as to how to sort this so that Autower views from the new Terminal 4 view-point. Thanks in advance, Ren

Fellow simmers,Last night I noticed some strange blurriness appearing at radom intervals of time during a flight. When im sitting at the gate and look around everything seems fine, when i taxi everything seems fine, as soon as i get on the rwy the blurriness appears. While taking off it goes from being smooth to blury until pretty much i hit cruise. As i come in for approach the same operation of smooth to blury images appears again. I need to know something but feel a little dumb to ask but here goes. What is the definition of a AFCAD? And what is the difference between that and the term "Four letter codes:ex.......KMCO.? What does a AFCAD do that dirrers from KMCO???? (-:

I re-installed FSX again about 10 days ago having bought a copy of the Acceleration Pack. It was on my PC for about 4 days before I once again decided to remove it as it just does not float my boat.Coincidentally, I was in the process of creating a fictitious airfield using EZ-Scenery. I was about 50% of the way into this project when FSX was installed and removed. Prior to FSX installation, I had a couple of AI Sea Kings flying circuits (successfully) around this airfield. After FSX was removed, I noticed that the AI helicopters would not land, rather they would take off, fly the circuit, turn base leg then slowly fly into the ground without turning onto finals. At…

Hey guys,I had my Wilco CRJ working just fine until I had the bad idea of installing a livery (Malev) from Wilco. After that the AC became totally unusable in Europe and it freezes FS at 1 fps. This problem does not happen in the USA.I have tried everything I could before uninstalling FS (very last option as it is a pain in the neck to reinstall everything). Uninstalled the CRJ, deleted the FS9.cfg, cleaned the registry (registry mechanic), blah blah blah, but no matter what I do every time I load this AC at any European airport, kaboom, FS drops to 1 fps. I also checked the CPU usage and it is at 100% until I shut FS down.Well, everyone knows how well supported this prod…

All of a sudden FS won't load -displays splash screen, computer is doing its thing like a normal start, then crashes to desktop - no messages etc. I tried starting FS9 in Safe mode and it loads & starts. I just noticed that when I hit shift+z I no longer get the fps readout on the top screen. Thought the keyboard was at fault and changed keyboards and problem still is there.Any ideas how to restore the shift+z function?Thanks!

Hello, I have much problems with my 747 of PMDG in 64-bit Windows. Doesn't matter if it is XP 64-bit or Vista Ultimate 64-bit. The plane doesn't react to what I ask it to do. When I descent from 24000 ft to 7000 ft and I want to fly 250 knots, the plane does descent but not the right way. It doesn't stop descending after 7000 ft. When I don't pull up myself the plane crashes. The speed is not correctly too. I know how to fly the plane because I did it on XP 32-bit a lot, and I never had a problem. Is the aircraft not working correctly o a 64-bit system? When I search on forums I see people who fly the 747 on a 64-bit system without any problem. I have the newest version. …

I installed the Tibet scenery to add these two airports and all the scenery is there except the runways! I've tried changing layers, checked the AFCADS and all looks good. Can see the hangars, etc but no runways. Any ideas?

Hey guys,So i decided i am tired of all the regular airports and traffic so i want to make my own airport. i did so (or tried) using AFCAD editor by Lee Swordy and everything went ok ... but then a got into FS9 and went to the airport and there are trees and numerous houses and things in the middle of runways, taxiways, etc. How can i make it so there is just plain grass or at least land w/ out buildings on it at my airport??any help appreciated!!THANKS ,MATT

Topic says it. Mine won't start up any more. Kernel32.dll error.Few weeks ago thought I have solved it, been working for some time now, but yesterday again, and now it just doesn't work any more. Doing reinstalls and OS reinstalls is not really an option just for finding what's wrong with it.Does anyone have a similar problem?

Hello all,I've always noticed that having the "shadows" box on or off gives a huge increase/decrease in performance. My question is, does anyone know how to keep shadows on the user plane, but disable it from all AI aircraft?Any help would be appreciated! Thanks in advance.Eric

Hi guys,Installed the landing lights by Dirk Kurze earlier, the least intensive file, and went to FS9 now to do some testing.All much better, though the PA 320 really doesn't look good using it...has anyone thought of a way around it other than using the default FS file again? I am flying FS2004. I found an interesting phenomenon while flying at certain airports in Italy. I did a forum search but could not find anything exactly like I am seeing. For example, I was flying out of Milan (Malpensa LIMC). When I take off from either runway there, as the plane accelerates down the runway it just keeps bouncing up and down until liftoff and airborne and then there is smooth flight. If you look at the external plane view as it is going down the runway, you can actually see the wheels bouncing. Now if I use a taxiway at the same airport and take off from that taxiway, the plane accelerates perfectly smoothly down the taxiway until airborne. Absolutely n…

I've been doing FS9 for 4 years now or more. I love it. Ain't no way I am migrating anywhere else. I've shoved in a lot of aircraft add-ons and done some minor tweaks of texture and the cfg file and installed about a dozen freeware and payware sceneries, mostly of airports.I just put the finishing touches to my PC set-up. I recently did the 3GB switch edit in the boot.ini file, etc. to address a single recent OOM caused when flying the PMDG 744 into EGLL with heavy AI traffic. A new, nearly duplicate suspension bridge now sets just West of the old Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Is there a simple way to make a copy of the existing Tacoma Narrows Bridge and approach roads and place it next to the existing bridge?
