Is there a central website that displays the frequencies for the world's airports? I can find some U.S. airports and can also get some frequencies off 'liveATC' but it doesn't list them all. I want to update my AFCAD with real world frequencies. Thanks,

I don't know if this is an appropriate topic to post here, but I've only been simming for less than a year now and I'm really stumped as to what to do.My wife is bugging me for my Christmas list and just about everything I want (that I haven't already bought for myself, that is) is stuff that's down-loadable on line. She says she would like some packages under the tree for me and doesn't like giving me only gift certificates, so she's begun threatening a vast collection of ugly ties and a lump of coal for me this holiday season if I don't get her some kind of list soon! Hi! Something strange happened. All my startup smoke disapeared and only a "ghost smoke" (transparent) appears.Also the beacon lights, red and green wing lights, except the white that seem to look normal look very dimm. These awesome behaviour are in all my aircraft. I dont have idea what happened.Do somebody experienced these fault? Can I fix it?Thanks,

Hi Gang.I have the Abacus Flight Deck 5, and I do think it's pretty good.it comes with steam effects etc, and has Cat launching in 4 places, and arrestor points, but they are Not visible, but they are there.Does anyone know of any mods or additional files made by anyone else to help in this visually.also, do any of you know of any visual files to make the carrier look a little better, the freeware file ark_royal looks much better visually, but does not have the above built in to it, and the instructions to add these things from other authors is way over my head.I am using the FD5 with the fantastic Intruder from Alphasim, but I'm wondering if the hook is set properly, or …

Hello, I am blowing some dust off of some old add-ons I put on the back shelf here and have a few questions. I have flown on AVSIM for quite some time now and are kinda missing landing lights and just me and the ole sim. I have Ultimate Traffic 2004 and My TrafficV2.1 I was wondering if I could run both I already have Ultimate Traffic installed and would like Ultimate Traffic to just run my Airlines while My Traffic runs my GA and military traffic. Since I already have Ultimate Traffic installed would MyTraffic overwrite anything important and if not what is the best way to set the both up to run the way I would like them too? …

Hey All,I'm having a huge issue right now. I can not access my FS9.cfg, because....my computer won't let me show Hidden Files!I go Control Panel>Folder Options>Show Hidden Files and check the show box. I hit apply, but then I open it again, and it has "hide hidden files", no matter what I do.Any Idea?

Downloaded USViper.zip, unzipped and installed it just like I have dozens of others but it doesn't show up in the aircraft list in FS2004. I have since downloaded flf16pnl.zip and copied the panel .bmp to the Viper panel folder but still no show. What am I missing?Bob

I read somewhere that the AI traffic program My Traffic was renamed just Traffic for FSX. While browsing FS addons I noticed My Traffic by Aerosoft and Traffic 07 by JustFlight. Are these connected or similar products? Tom

I have a feeling that I might be about to open a can of worms, but seeing as for some reason I can register on the Wilco forum this seems like the best place to try and find some answers.For flight planning I use a mix of FSBuild / FSCommander and Simroutes / vroutes. None of these support the Wilco Airbus Series 1.What flight planning options do I have with the Wilco Airbus ?I've even overwritten the default AIRAC with the latest and now cannot even load the tutorial flight!Thanks in advanceRH

Hi all,I'm trying to do some fixes on KRWL in my town. I need to move and delete buildings, take out the trees, fix the parking area and such. I downloaded Lee Swordy's Afcad program, SceneGenx, and EZScenery. With SceneGenX it was easy to do all the moves and fixes. The sgx file is saved. When I try to convert it to a BGL file I get errors saying the file is bad. The Lee Swordy program doesn't show the buildings that need removed and fixes. The EZScenery is a nightmare, and I already paid for it and it looks like it won't really do what I need it to do anyhow. I looks like my best bet for the field repairs is the Scenegenx but how do I get around the error? Any ideas?Her…

hey all, I am trying to merge the feelthere erj panel with posky's erj but when ever I enagage the autopilot notjhing happens...it refuses to engage in either roll or pitch mode? anyone else have the same issues? i am usng the feelthere airfile instead of the posky one...

when ever i fly with real weather, not always but most of the time the plane is all crazy.. it'll move to the right like 20 degrees and then the speed will all of a sudden go up then back down... and i don't know if this is really how a real world flight is but i have never been in such a violent flight in real life... is something wrong with my settings? and if so how can i fix it?

How many times have you sat in front of the monitor and pondered "were am I going to fly today?". I reinstalled the Wilco 777 yesterday (in FS2004) and installed their patch as well. The aircraft flies well so far. However I am finding that the GoFlight MCP PRO and the GoFlight EFIS don't really work at all with this add-on and wondered if they are supposed to be compatible for this aircraft? Is anybody having success operating the autopilot and FMC of the Wilco 777 with their MCP PRO and/or GoFlight EFIS?[i've written to Wilco about this just now too, but thought I'd post here anyway.]Appreciate any posts, thanks!JS

Hello, I have an issue with Ground Enviroment Pro II if anyone can help. I uninstalled the sim and in the process of re-installing my stuff. Well I did a backup of my ground and sky textures on my other drive so i wouldn't have to wait a day re-building ground textures and sky textures. Problem I am having is this. I pasted my Sky texture sets in the sky texture folder and my ground textures into the texture folder. When I load up ground enviroment it does not list them still in the red like no sets are made etc. Any soul out there have a solution to this? Thanks, …

I seem to remember some posts regarding issues starting FS2004 after uninstalling FSX - but a search has come up empty.If I remember correctly there was a recommended utility which would rebuild the FS2004 registry entry which apparently gets corrupted when uninstalling FSX.Does this ring a bell with anyone?

Good day all!I was wondering if anyone would know why I get a CTD while flying across the Atlantic Ocean. I've tried many flights all with the same result, a CTD about half way across. I have UT U.S.A, UT Canada/Alaska and the FS Genesis pack all installed. Also I am using FS9.1. I just got UT Europe but haven't installed it yet. Any ideas?Thanks in advanceScott
