Hi all, wondering if one of our Turkish friends could do a translation for me.I have downloaded scenery from the Turkish Vatsimsite, but the read me is in the native language. A quick glance seems to indicate removal of resident .bgls, as I am not too sure what is exactly required. I am reticent to experiment. Many thanks in anticipation.Regards JohnT

Hi everyone. I have been searching for a few hours looking on different websites for a few STAR and ILS plates for a few airports in Brazil. Namely the the ones listed below.Sanots Dumont - SBRJCongonhas - SBSPGuarulhos - SBGRI have tried Vatsim, Sky Vector, and many others but can't seem to find what I was looking for. The most important one is the Santos Dumont. If anyone has a PDF of these or knows where to find them could you please let me know. I wish finding international charts was as easy as finding the ones in the US . Thanks for the help.Regards,Sean Campbell

Hi all, I'm thinking of attempting to make a user controlled ATC where the playercan control the AI from when it is within the 90 nm range of it's destination airport and vector it to the runway/s via text commands, it would obviously have to incorporate a radar screen, I know it's possible to control AI because of the 2 AI seperation programs that are out there but I just dont know where to start, what language is used to communicate with FS2004 for a start, would I need to use FSUIPC ? If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate the links ect, it's just a thought at the moment. Thanks in advance for any help.

am thinking about maybe getting perfect flights 717 and or the MD11 but wondered about how they will run as far as frame rates go. yea, they look alot like default aircraft panels so maybe it's frame rate friendly. i have an AMD3000 1024Ms of ram and a ATI9600 , 40G HD.if there's much of a frame hit then i'll just stay with the defaults. oh yea, i'm interested in aircraft with VCs that's why i'm interested in perfect flight. thanks, william

I'm suddenly getting "Your heading indicator is set incorrectly -- to set the heading indicator Press D" flying tip warnin1gs and my auto pilot in FSNavigator can't lock on to the correct heading. When I press the D key as instructed, all I get is an audible warning that says "ADF" and nothing else happens -- I still get the heading indicator message and FSNav still doesn't lock on -- it just wants to fly me around in circles. My altitude, speed, vert speed, etc. auto pilot controls all respond fine.I'm flying the default 737-400 with the PSPanel 737NG panel installed, and I've never had this problem before. I've shut the glass instruments down and I'm using the backup…

I noticed a series of Texture Booster Packs for FS9 on PCAviator's site for $19 (also get 15% discount this weekend).these are "High Quality Texture Enhancement for FS2004".The airport runway textures for example look really nice. Anyone here use them or recommend them? Are there any conflicts or issues with for example Active Sky 6, Ground Env Pro, etc?

Is it just me or has anyone noticed that the localizer to RWY 19 at Teterboro is off? If I followed the localizer I would end up about 20-30 feet right of the rwy.

Hello all,I usually run FS in full screen mode. I was trying to use the FSFlying School demo so I had to go to windows screen in order to open FSFlying School and hit the "connect button". When I tried to go back to full screen the screen went "black" and never did open to full screen. Any help on this? Thanks,Mike

Hi Again, I have seen many posts regarding how and what to use to make flight videos in a format that one can share with others. Most of the solutions are payware (like Fraps), but I've discovered that Camtasia is offering a fully functional version of their software for FREE! and would like to pass it on. From what I've heard and read, Camtasia comes highly regarded. This is an older version but should do the job quite nicely. Heres the link to obtain the license key: http://www.techsmith.com/camtasia/pcpls.aspAnd here's a direct link to the download: http://download.techsmith.com/camtasiastud...2/camtasiaf.exe As always, use at your own risk - I hope you enjoy the s…

Hi Tom,Just letting you know, the Today's Headlines shows an incorrect date. It shows Tuesday - December 25, 2007. Unless I misread something on the main page. Not that I would mind it being Christmas already, that means Spring is just around the corner. But it makes me that much older and moves me a few steps closer to having one foot in the grave.Anyway, just thought I would let you know.

Hello simmers...I just downloaded some AI flightplans for "Commuter Airlines". The plans are for the Summer 1982 season. Commuter Airlines was based out of Binghamton, New York. The problem I've found is that there are no AI Convair 580's on the internet in the livery of Commuter Airlines. Is there someone out there that could do a repaint of this aircraft?. It would be really nice to use it with the above flightplans. Thanks for reading this. Eric Hutchinson

I have bought the Carenado Cessna C182RG and I wonder if it behaves realistic with regard to this behaviour I have found.I find that its vertical climb speed easy and quickly can go up to 2000 fpm even if heavy loaded. The VSI changes a lot for even moderate control change of the yoke and I also get complains from FSPassenger that I exceed G forces. Just a very moderate pull on the yoke can result in more than 2 G. Does this also apply to real life Cessna C182RGs?

The user aircraft cannot get it's landing runway direction til 31 miles out or less. The AI aircraft seem to get them much further out, sometimes even more than 100 miles out. Is there any way for the user aircraft to get it's landing runway further out than 31 miles. At some airports (KORD) you don't get your clearance til your too close to the airport to do a proper approach.. Thanks

having trouble keeping ford tri-motor going straight in ohio islands route; i switched to a cessna in clear weather and it's a lot easier; i'm not sure if it's the old plane or the weather effects, more. thanks. i had the same problem in the lindburgh new york to paris flight. big trouble taxing, too.

I am using FS9 and the CH products yoke which I really like. I use the rocker switch on the left (by default) for my trim control. Some planes (like Dreamfleet Baron) respond very nicely with use of this switch. Others (Aeroworx Super King Air B200) change their pitch much to much with minimal touching of the trim switch. My question, is there somewhere, maybe in the Aircraft.cfg file that this response can be changed? Thanks, Al

Hi, I am looking for an Airbus 320 or Boeing 737. What is the most realistic ? I also look for an FMC that is real world. Any ideas, Atkin.

So far I've played with the F1 Super-80, F1 ATR72-500 and the Wilco/Feelthere Legacy.By FAR the best quick start-up guide I've seen has been the one supplied with the Legacy. I was able to be aloft with correct start up procedures in under 10 minutes from a dark and cold ac.Why can't F1 just give us a quick start ("click here, then here, then here") instead of requiring an hour of reading before starting the damned engines? I know that some of you hanker for the "real deal" but short of starting with engines running it shouldn't take me 3 hours to read through shotty start up tutorials just to get airborne. I really really really want to like the ATR and the Super 80, but…
