This aircraft is one of the better a/c that I have purchased BUT on most occasions during flight the autopilot suddenly disengages for no apparent reason.Just wondered if any other pilot has had the same problem and managed to sort it or is it one of those 'bugs' that won't go away. Perhaps someone found a patch?Thank youDon

I'm sure this has come up before but I don't know how to solve it.When loading FS2004 I am suddenly getting the splash screen with the statement--"Microsoft has detected potentially incompatible aircraft or software - gaugesound.dll Do you want to continue? This has been appearing for a couple weeks now and I just clicked "YES" and FS loaded fine.But now it will not load. Once or twice last night it started loading 1%, 2%, very slow and never got past 55%.It Now it goes almost immediately to 55% and says "completing set-up, generating scenery file indexes." I'm trying to get hold of the airport scenery for the new Bangkok airport (VTBS) but the only place I can locate it is at Siamavsim.com. Only thing is, much of the pertinent info on the website is in Thai and I'm not able to get it translated. Is there someplace else to get the scenery file? It's not on AVSIM or Flightsim.com. I really need this for a lot of my AI flightplans.Much thanks

Hello,I have attempted to merge those two, and only problem I cannot get over is sinking gear into the ground when braking.I have tried various compression ratios in contact points, but nothing makes it work as it should.Is anyone aware of normally working merge of those two?Thanks,Word Not Allowed

Some of my Overland 777's don't have complete night lighting. There was a 'fix' file uploaded and I installed that but now I don't even have the window lighting. Is there some way to fix the night lights?

This is my first post here, and I'm a little confused to where should I post a question like this, so forgive me about any mistakes.I already e-mailed JF about this, and they say they always give a response in 48 hours or less, which is not true everytime I looked for their help, and their answers are almost always short, ambiguous and not conclusive, so a friend of mine indicated the avsim community for me to ask this.The thing is I tested the demos for AP and CP and I was a lot dispointed by the fact that both products turn off ALL aircraft systems after take off (like ATC, GPS, Auto-Pilot, and ALL really), so you fly basically blind, only …

Suddenly, I have a failure. Did not previously have it.The Autopilot IAS, Heading, and Altitude indicators are frozen. I can not change them with mouse clicks.The mouse clicks work on all other items in the cockpit.Does anyone have an idea of what might be wrong?

Haven't found a firm list of what actually is updated in FS9 with the PMDG 744X release. Seems to be some confusion about the details :).Anyone care to post what is really improved?Jim Harnes

Hello everyone!If I would like to enhance my overall airport experience with sounds - environment noise, trucks, cars, something that simulates airport environment, what would you suggest me to look at? I am not looking for Cockpit sounds, those would only be in the way when talking to live ATC on VATSIM, but rather external sounds. Wouldn't bother me much if muffled in the cabin, but I'd like to hear them while in external view...Whatcha got for me? :)

Hi,I have been flying the default Learjet using the X52 joystick with throttle. I have noticed that when flying a steady course the plane does not want to fly level. It maintains altitude but it tilts slightly to the right as if I am turning right but it is actually flying straight. The joystick is centered and it is doing this while flying on auto pilot. Does anyone have any suggestions why this is happening? I also find that I need to adjust the seat height manually during landing as I don't see the runway with default height. I did find the place where I can adjust it in the aircraft file but I wanted to adjust it to a realistic level and was wondering what are the rea…

Trying to get some AI traffic into China but running into a lot of missing airports. Compiling the traffic flightplans has detected about 2 dozen missing airfields. I guess there's no easy way to get those added unless I create them myself via AFCAD? Hoping there's an easier way.
