...at least I assume it is the day textures. Sim has been running fine for me up till today. I have not used it for about a week, but have used it extensively on this machine since I got it in September.It is night here now - loaded the sim, and changed the time of day to 'day', clicked 'fly' and it began to load, then crashed with a dialog - informing Microsoft etc.Hmmm - rebooted the computer - same thing.Moved and rebuilt the fs9.cfg file. Same thing.Noticed that if I let it start up at night, I DID get into the sim ok, and all appeared normal. Each time I set FS 2004 User Defined weather for a specific group of stations in a selection box I create and save it as a flight, it appears as set (few clouds, heavy rain, 2 miles vis, winds 270/light). However, when I leave FS9 then start FS9 later and select that flight, it replaces the weather with clear, winds 014/0.I have tried setting the user defined wx before selecting the stations and setting it after selecting stations. Nothing seems to save the User definte wx from one FS9 experience to the next.What could cause this? I've had the PSS Dash 8 forever, so I've been looking at the Majestic Dash 8 with interest. What could I expect, is their model way ahead of PSS? Is there any place to find airline's CURRENT (or fairly recent) schedules? I pull a lot of my AI schedules off the 'retro-ai' site which is really good for old stuff. I guess with terror threats, etc, such info isn't as easy to come by any more. Thanks for any help.

Hi allCan you help, I am running Vista 32bit with 2.8 Ghz processer and 4 gb Ram, I have FSX and FS9 on the PC, They were both working fine, now all of a sudden I get the below message when I try to run FS9 ?The disk is a new one and has about 465GB free space ?FSX still works fine, any ideas? I'm trying to use the PMDG 737 program in FS2004. When I try to program the FMC using the airport codes it says Not In Database. Any idea what I am doing wrong?

Hiwhen i try to open the ADV display after i click on the option in the modules tab, and a long rectangular bar for lack of a better terms appears, I attempt to drag it down and size it, but it doesn't want to move when i attempt to adjust it with the left mouse button and drag. Hi allI have been using fs9 for a long time and recently started having a very strange problem. I am running on a fast healthy machine, the problem is as follows.1. I run fs9 and start 2. I am up and running as ready to go ( it could be anywhere) and then almost immediately the dialogue box comes up for a second time and runs through traffic weather etc. If I set a time in the drop down box,it will always reset to another time. it is really frustrating as i cannot set any time other than the time the program is set to. I have fsuipc on the system but i have unchecked the box that resets the time3. I have fscopilot and fsinn but they are resident and not always running4 I …

i have a problem, i set up for any flight and once i take off after 2 minutes the screen goes black and the error message comes on, it says that fs9 had encountered and error and needs to shut down. ...my pc specs areevg 680i motherboardcore 2 duo 2.13ghz2GB DDR2 1066MHZ OCZ3 Hard Drives2 DVD +/- Burners8800 GTS Superclocked 320MB video card...so i dunno wat the problem is cuz its hard to think that its caused by the hardware....if anyone can help id appreciate it..oh, FS9 is not installed in Drive C, i have it in one of the extra disks in case i need to reformat the pc...thanks

I just downloaded FSSCREEN Which looks like a efficient photo program. In the notes it states that I "may" need the above named file. Does anybody know if I need it or not, and if so where best place to download it?

Hi, I have a feeling I'm going to have to reinstall but with 40gigs worth of addons i thought i would try you guys first. I have a fairly powerfull PC with 3gigs of ram 512mb ATI card and i get great frames in fs9 (locked at 25) even flying into Schipol heathrow and Lax (I dont use AI due to flying on vatsim everytime) but over the last few months the sim has developed a strange 2 second pause at least once every 20 seconds. I have used filemon tried the default aircraft and removed UT europe etc and nothing's fixed it.. I even bought new ram which now resides on my second active sky, squawkbox pc because it made no diffrence. It's frustrating :( the sim is as smooth as …

I just bought these and I can't figure out how to release my brakes now. When I apply both toe brakes, the brakes stay on! Did I miss something?As always, thanks in advance to the group!

I have big trouble with controlling my speed, then I taxi my turboprop aircraft. Both the standard King Air 350, and by all other downloaded on the net. The the problem is, the speed increase up to about 25-30 kts, even with the trottle in full idle position.I use a joystick there I can control the engine and the propeller individual. I have no problems with piston engine aircraft with changeable propellers. The 2 controllers for engine and propellers works fine, then I am in the air.There have to be some parameters in the *.air or aircraft.cfg to tweak? I have tried to change some of the parameters, but it doesn't change much.

I've bought Friendly Panels. The manual says I should be able tocall up the FMC by pressing SHIFT+8 but unfortunately this doesn'twork. The FMC is listed in pull down menu ViewInstruments. Is thereany way I can assign a key combo to make it come up without havingto pull down menu each time?Thanks

I recently rebuilt my flightsim box with all new highend components. The specs include (bfg nvidia 8800gtx oc2 graphics card,evga nforce 68oi sli mainboard,2GB of corsair xms2 DDR2-800 system memory,2 seagate sataII 320 gb harddrives in an Zalman Fatal1ty FC-ZE1 aluminum case). I had fs9 running smooth as glass for two days and then fs9 crashed on a flight from kdal to kiad. The event log stated the crash was caused by an ntdll.dll error.I read in one of the other forums this error is caused by explorer.exe. I'm really looking for more input on how to fix this problem once and for all.Thanks for any help you guys can give.Alex
