I just installed the Aerosoft Heathrow 2008 on my PC which runs Triplehead2Go with 3 LCDs at 3840x1024. The landing lights and taxiway lights are simply enormous and disgusting, massive great white, yellow and green phsophorescent thinggie that look like an explosion. I am wondering how to reduce the size and intensity of these lights.Prior to installation I'd long since installed Nick's light fixes and made many adjustments to the lights and scaling so that everything looked great under TH2G, especially the VASi, the approach lights, taxiways lights and runway side lights. I have a few airports installed, supposedly for FS9, where taxi/apron markings and the tarmac/concrete textures sort of 'roll back' as the a/c advances (or I pan up and down - the viewing angle is crucial), either disappearing or revealing some other (e.g. grass) texture underneath. For instance, at LICC (catania_fontarossa_2006.zip).Can someone explain why this happens and if there is something I can do to cure it? Thanks!Martin

I've been getting this error message recently on starting FS9 about incompatible aircraft or software and it sites the following: dl737FPL.dll as the culprit. I always select to load it, but does anyone recognize from where it originates? I'm thinking the fuel loader for the 737 (PMDG model)addon, B737FPL_V2.zip. I've had this program before rebuilding the computer and never saw it at that time, so I'm unsure as to why it's showing up now.It doesn't seem to cause a problem but I would like to eliminate the error message.Thanks,Jim

Does anyone know how to get to the Evolve AI downloads? All I can find is the forum.

They are in the Eurw/scenery folder and they are the BGL flies that start with AP and FL. (example AP951170.bgl and FL951170.bgl)I installed two of these type of files from a add on scenery I have but I don't see any difference.

Hello,I was wondering if somebody could help me. I've recently installed nHancer and tried using AA set at 16xS. This creates a great image, and on my 8800 GTS 640MB i don't loose any frames. It also gets rid of shimmering I got at fly tampas KSFO and some other payware scenerys. BUTWith any supersample AA, wheather its 2xS or 32xS I get a blury 2d Panel. In fact the control Z information is blury as well. Its sort of like ghosting or a shadow. If I set the AA to ANY other setting, these bluries go away. Does anybody have any advice?My resolution is set at 1240x1024ThanksKael

I am using an aircraft in FS9 (don't know if I'm allowed to mention who or what it is !!) and when I undock the FMS window and move it to a 2nd monitor, it works just fine until I shutdown FS9 or change aircraft. When the FMS 'pops up' it is back in it's original position on my main monitor, instead of the 2nd one, where I initially dragged it.The aircraft software manufacturer states that this add-on does not save window positions.Is there someway that I can change a config file or something so that I CAN save the window position?I hope you understand what I am trying to ask!! Hi,I have posted this in here as I'm not getting anywhere in the rotorhead forum.I am trying to download the original / master file for this helicopter for FS9.but for the life of me I can't seem to find it at either hovercontrol, or here on avsim.I have grabbed some great repaints, but they all tell me I need this MD500E.zip that I can't find.if someone would be good enough to provide a direct / download link then that would be most welcome.Thanks in advance, it's much appreciated.

Is there a shortcut to increase or decrease AI traffic percentages while in flight? I thought I saw where someone did a hotkey in FSUIPC but now I can't find it. Just for my info, does anyone fly with 100% AI?

My airport (runway, taxiway, apron, vasi/papi) and ultimate terrain enhanced lighting no longer appear. I first encountered problems with my lighting when I switched to a triplehead2go set up. All of the lights were too big so I fiddled with the light scalar settings in the [DISPLAY] section of my FS9.cfg (I've since abandoned the triplehead and removed the modified scalars). Sometime within the last week something has caused all of the lights to disappear completely. I've tried everything I can think of to resurrect them but have had no luck. Here's what I've tried.- Removing the light scalar entries from the FS9.cfg- Confirmed that the halo.bmp was not corrupted- Confir…

Ultimate Terrain, Megascenery New York, Aerosoft Manhattan, and the G-d D--n George Washington Bridge. And possibly FS Genesis mesh tho I doubt it. Was the GW Bridge problem ever fixed for the Default scenery? My best result has been to place Manhattan above Megascenery. I've had to disable Ultimate Terrain completely. When I use it most of the local bridges disappear along with the Statue of liberty. Now why do I wan't to use all these addons? "Because I Can!" I'm doing a STAR runway setup for KABQ where no two runways are parallel. In doing my calculations, do I do it from the lowest # base Runway (rwy 3) to the highest base runway (rwy 17) and just keep going around up to 17 or do I do seperate calculations between progressive 'pairs' of runway. ( rwy 3 and 8) rwy 8 to rwy 12, rwy 12 to rwy 17, etc.? I know runway 17 isn't active but I'm using it anyway. I don't usually run into this as I'm normally dealing with just pairs of paralell runways. thanks

So I'm reading an article in Plane&Pilot about adjusting to night flying especially if the pilot hasn't done it in awhile...more like true IMC with no visibility, etc. Due to family schedules and the fact that when I fly I use whatever the real time of day is, all my flying the last 6 months has been daytime. I always use Active Sky so it's not like I haven't had a lot of IFR flying and some close to minimums approaches. I've finally given up trying to solve an FS2004 problem and am in need of an autopilot wizard. The problem was first noticed with an add-on B732 when I was approaching KSEA and selected APP. Since then I've tried the same flight many times with the default B734, but the same thing happens. Let me explain the sequence of events.1. Everything normal during the descent to KSEA; NAV1 radio at 116.80; autopilot set to NAV and tracking the 340 radial; ALT is set to level out at 3400 feet.2. Hello AllI only fly passenger jets at the moment,and i was wondering whether i was using the correct take off procedure.I line up after being cleared .I then apply brakes and spool up the engines to about forty percent wait a little and then all the way up (approx 96 percent)i then wait a little longer and then release the parking brake and sprint down the runway etc no problems after that,but is that more or less the correct way to take off.cheers Andy
