Anyone knows where to get Mike Stone's Aircraft? Why is the website closed?

I am sure this has been asked before but cant find anything.I have been flying for many years using single GA aircraft but would like to move up, what plane would you recomend to start learning the bigger stuff?I am using FSX for my VFR flying with the RealAir Scout package.But plan to stick to FS9 for my intro to heavy metal.Any suggestions tips would be welcome.Thanks in advance.Phil

Hi,I would like a real 767 pilot's opinon concerning a question I have about the 767. Here it goes. All the the 767s that I have ing FS9 seem to bank very slowly. Is this an attribute of the real 767?

I currently use a variety of websites to do flight planning (flightaware.com, sim routes, etc), but none of them give me a decent map of the route I plan to take. I find that transitions to STARS don't always work out the way I intended and I'd like to see a map of the proposed flight plan BEFORE getting up into the skies.Has anyone come across a web-enabled flight planner that displays a nifty map of the route?

I want an add on that makes all of the world cities more realistic with landmarks and figures. I downloaded a nigt environment upgrade but I don't think that's enough.

Hi After believing that i was suffering from the dreaded "blurries", i've spent many hours reading numerous forum postings on the subject together with even more tweaking my fs.cfg file.Anyway, after reading a couple on the FSX forum, a point was raised that really caught my interest and that was that many of us think we're suffering from the blurries but what we're actually seeing is perfectly normal behavior by fs in its attempt to reduce unnecessary CPU overload by reducing the detail of those scenery tiles that exceed a particular distance from our aircraft.Anyway, what i thought i'd do is post a couple of screenies showing what i though were the blurries but now i'm …

Hi GuysI used to have a repaint for the Flight1 Cessna C421 that i can't now find.The aircraft background is white, with eagle like feathers painted in very pale blue and beige colours.If it's any help, there's also an LIC Eagle done in almost the same livery.If anyone has it, or knows of it's whereabouts, please yell me!

hi,when i login to vatsim, sometimes i have two planes in the same gate.For example, tonight, i logged in, set-up my pmdg 737 for lax-las flight, then my level-d 767 default plane sat right on top of my pmdg plane.when I disconnect from vatsim, the 767 dissappeared, logged back in, it came to the same spot. during the flight the 767 was right behind me the whole way.im using fsinn on vatsim with fs2004any thoughts?michael k

Hi folks. I was flying the other day from Orcas Island to Emma Field, when I noticed that in the ATC screen there was a listing for Bear Gulch Aviation. I never noticed it before, so I dropped down to the North End of Cushman Lake to have a look. What I found was a float plane dock, with a house and what looked to be a landing strip lined with trees. The only problem was that all the parts were missing textures. So, after the flight I looked in my addon scenery/scenery folder and noticed three files: 000_wa38_excl, wa38_grnd_hires, wa38rwy. The one titled wa38_grnd_hires and wa38rwy have dates of 2-12-06 modified and the one called 000_wa38_excl was modified on 1-31-06.I …

I don't quite get the real difference here. Is there any advantage to buying FDC Live Cockpit if I already own FS Passengers? It doesn't really seem that FDC will add anything to FS9 from a practical standpoint, but is basically the same thing without the game elements of FSPassengers.Thanks for your opinions.

I'm considering moving FS2004 off of my C drive to free up disk space. My question is if I copy it to another drive and delete the files on C can I copy FS2004 back to the C drive at a later date and will it run. I'm just deleteing the files not uninstalling it.Or is there a better way to accomplish what I'm trying to do. I would really like to permiently move to another larger drive but I don't want to go through reinstall of all the add ons I have installed over the years.I will be using Ghost to move FS2004.Thanks in advance to all who reply.Bill

What settings in the config of AES does anyone us with with Digital - Piper Cheyenne aircraft? It only has one door that opens and has it's own steps that lowers to the ground. jerrycwo4

I had the Yoke/TC combo for a while and I had it configured wonderfully. The first and second throttle axis controlled the engines and the third controlled the spoilers. The reverse buttons worked well and I was very happy with everythingMy wife bought me an additional TC for my birthday and I have not been able to get it configured properly. Is there a guide that specifically defines how to set up FSUIPC for a Saitek TC somewhere? Everything I have found describes how to set up the CH TC with the reverse thrust which is entirely different from the Saitek. My main problem is that I have to advance the throttles to 50% before I see an increase in engine output. In addition…

Hi,FSX is nice, but I'm still not happy with the performance after upgrading my system. However FS9 runs very well now. Hello, I been having problems with the PSS Airbus. When I insert the route in correctly and fly it the MCDU decides to skip the second waypoint and not fly it and from there on it starts to skip all other waypoints also so for example lets say I inserted the route in correctly on its CDU insert the first waypoint click on it to insert the airway following it or the waypoint following it everything goes well however when I fly that route the second waypoint after it flies the first one disappears in other words it skips it and the green line that's supposed to be its fly path it disappears also... Does anyone know how to fix this or if their is a patch for it?Please hel…

Greetings,I've used various add on sceneries for IAH. It seems there is some difficulty in receiving ILS signals on certain runways. For example, Rwy 26L GS does not operate. I'm told this is due to the stock file. Are there any AFCAD recommendations to correct the IAH ILS problem? Many thanks.

Hello to the pilots of the marvelous PROJECT Fokker F70/100 in the FS2004-update-version V3.0I wonder if you encounter as well that the landing lights and the taxi lights toggle are linked and CANNOT be switched seperately? Thus the landing light cannot be turn off on the taxiway.Is there a solution for this bug?Thanks a lot in advanceMax

Hi~guys~I just started play the fight simulator several days ago and found it really cool~but after some practice of flying the cessena 172 in the flying lesson by Rod Macado in the game, i find it a little bit hard to handle the trim skill.the lesson tells me that I need to trim in a climb or descent, or if I adjust the airspeed, it's necessary to adjust the trim to get the proper attitude.I know trim is used to eliminate the feedback force exerts on the operation stick(in the airplane) However, I just don't know how to tell that the aircraft is already trimed properly.I use the joystick to play. when I pull/push the joystick to pitch up/down, it'll automatically return …

Hi, I'm new to all this, but here it goes:have PMDG 737 -600 to -900 installed.apart from the fact the the IRS is not operational I find it disappointing that the panel switching is also inop.but I also can't find any cold & dark functionality (unlike the 747 by PMDG) - am I missing a trick. Who knows, could Microsoft be able to do a statistics on how many FSX boxes have been sold after one and half years and compare that to how many FS9 boxes were sold after 1.5 years it came out? I'd be very curious to know what the numbers are...

i'm trying to reinstall an aircraft that kept locking up on me thinking it was a bad download. after downloading it a few times this morning thinking one of them might be good, i still can't get it to run. when i click on the folder to extract/run it i keep getting: [error reading file]. not sure if this is on my end or another bad download. any ideas? william
