Hello AllCan some kind person tell me which FS9 Disc i can find the original TEXTURE folder.Its so tireing having to get up and down checking each one.Yawn!cheers Andy

....They have failed to complete the 757 package as initially advertised and yet they still continue to put out half done products and people still buy them....WHY!!Well I was one who bought the 727 a couple of years back and have had a HD crash. Anyhow I have emailed CS to get a reg # on several occasions over the past month without a single response.Sorry to be so nasty here on Avsim but I have no other clues on how to get a hold of them I have been unable to sign up on their support forum.HELP.

(edited post to clarify)The problem I'm having is the approach lighting strobes (the "rabbit", the strobes that flash in sequence that "lead" you to the approach end of the runway) are acting strangely. What I mean is, lets say these lights take up a 1/4" space on my screen when they flash. No matter how far away I am from them, they always appear the same size. Which means that when I'm 500 feet away from them, they appear to be a "normal" brightness, but if I view the same lights from 20 miles away, they are still taking up 1/4" of space on my monitor, and in comparison to the relative size of the airport at that distance, they are HUGE. Hello, guys!Recently I was flying an approach to KSNA (John Wayne-Orange County Intl.) on the POSKY Boeing 737-700. However, I noticed than when I pressed on the APPR button (default 734 panel), both ALT and HDG selectors turned off even without the GS signal being recieved. Actually, after another try, I realized the autopilot only tracks down the localizer but doesn't obey to the GS no matter its position with reference to the plane (you might be flying under the GS or over it and the autopilot wouldn't care at all). In the end, I had to descend manually all the way to the runway...(fortunately, the autopilot did follow the LOC guidance).How can I fix this so I can tune…

how do you decide what ramp or gate to use as a starting location for a flight? i can't tell if it will be near the runway i want or not. i've looked at airport charts and maps but they don't show the gate/rampnumbers. william

Hii have Aismooth 1.20 and when i start aismooth and FS9...Then the Aismooth say "Flightsimulator not running" and the simulator is running..i have Fsuipc 3.7 installed...any ideas why the Aismooth will not run or why it say "Flightsimulator not running"Peter

hello!i hope this is the correct forum... anyways. i found the hover gauge from arne bartels (i think he is the coder) on some freeware helicopter but even after a throughout google search i wasnt able to find a webpage or anything with a documentation about this gauge. the only thing i have is a readme-file describing how to activate/deactivate the hover with a key, now i am trying to figure out how/if i can map the height selection to keys/buttons too. any help is appreciated!thanks in advance

I have just downloaded and installed software for a Hawker Hunter aircraft in FS 2004. I cannot see the usual display of buttons for "GPS,Radio,Map,Engine shutdown,Compass,ATC,and Kneeboard. How do I display them? Also, how do I switch on and use Automatic Pilot. It is a great little download and a treat to fly.........Dave

Hello everyone,As you can see in my specs, I have a Quad-core Q6600. In my system, FS9 DOES take advantage of quad-core without any tweaks! I tested it out and got an affirmative answer:In the task manager setting affinity to only 1 core (Core 0) yielded ~35 FPS in Chicago O'Hare on a rainy day, with all settings, including traffic, object/cloud draw distance.Setting affinity to all 4 cores bumped up the average to ~55-60 FPS. I've run into a little snag that's probably staring me right in my face. I'm trying to set 2 buttons on my Saitek yoke to the 'autopilot select airspeed' on the default Learjet. The Learning Center says it should be "control+shift+R" as well as the Kneeboard.However,I sure can't find it in the Assignments page anywhere.That key sequence causes a problem with my keyboard,hence I would like to change them prior to adding to the yoke. Any help would be appreciated.Skip D

I'm always curious to see what other people are using. What panel do you like best for POSKY's 747-400 and why? I've been using Chris Jeanne's but have not played around with it too much.Also, if you want to mention what you use for Meljets 777, I would also be interested.Cheers.

OK I'm in need of some ideas here. Last week or so my FS9 was running as smooth as silk, between 27-29 FPS, locked to 30 FPS.Since I've been busy I haven't done any flying til now and my sim is now only running @ 2-18 FPS, but mostly less than 10 FPS.The only recent changes to my computer was in adding a new DVD burner and a new software program. My FS9 resides on the D: drive and everthing else is on the C: drive.Any ideas as to why the sudden change in the FPS of my FS9?Thanks for any ideas.Jim D.

I just installed the fantastic Kai Tak 9 Dragons V2 and I'm blown away by it! One question though, they indicated in the PDF that the package came with some flights that you could install in FS9's 'Flights' folder. I haven't been able to locate these in my 9 Dragons directory and was wondering what folder they are located in so that I could try them out?Kim

HI all, I just purchased th captain sim c-130 gunship version but when i select the aircraft in Fs2004 only the default 737 cockpit shows up?? do I need to purchase the full version which is 19.99 euros to get the 2-d and 3-d cockpit...the website sure makes it seem like both cockpits are included?? anyone else have the same problem??
