Goodday,I'm Dutch so sorry if I write something wrong.I have many problems with my 747 from PMDG. When I fly offline, only FS2004 or FSX running there are no problems.When I am running FS2004 or FSX with the add-on for online flying (IVAO) or just only a screenshotprogram like Hoversnap, the plane does not listen to me. Shortly: When running FS2004 or FSX without any programs there is nothing wrong, but when I'am running a program on the background, I have problems. The problems I have are:The plane doesn't want to climb FLCH or VNAV with the right speed to the right FLevel. AVG Anti virus has detected a Trojan Horse in FS Map download"FS_102_Demo.zip" listed as "Trojan Horse.Downloader.Generic6.zip"Does anyone know if this is a threat, or have I overreacted bydeleting.

I've recently done a complete re-install of FS2004, the only addons I have running at the moment are Gary Summons UK2000 part 7, Extreme Gatwick + Glasgow and Aerosofts Heathrow. I also hae Level D 767, Flight one 727 + ATR42 and project Tu154m.I seem to be getting really long pauses of upto 30 seconds!! whilst flying around usually about 3-4 mins after I'm airborne, all the textures go grey and then eventually they come back...my system is as below.Thanks for reading!

Hi all.. Because my FS9 has become large and full of stuff, I tried to do a 2nd install. I did the usual renaming of cfg, main folder name etc. I did a second install to another drive/folder, renaming the exe and folders to FS92. I had to copy and paste the original fs9.cfg to make it work. Success or so I thought! All works fine, my original is perfect apart from the looong loading times that I always had. My second install works fine EXCEPT when I hit F10 for kneeboard or click on the panel kneeboard icon, I get a frozen black screen. This also happens when I select Lessons. I have done a few of these duplicate installs on other machines & all went well. Could it be…

I just bought this and all is good except one odd thing I'm noticingabout midway through the flight or so - the knob on the heading indicator and altimeter - in fact every instrument - the adjustment increment is large instead of finein other words, for example the heading ind. i cant adjust it in 1 degree increments it jumps like 10 degrees either wayanyone else have this, or know what is causing this?it seems like it is something I'm doing before that puts it in that "mode" but i don't know what?ciao!Brian S

Most of the gauges for the default Cessna and Kingair are not loading on the panels leaving just grey blanks. This applies to some other addon aircraft that use these common gauges. I overinstalledFS9 and for a short while the gauges came back and then disappeared again. There is obviously a conflict somewhere, AdditPro showed which gauges were missing but can anyone please tell me how to restore these original gauges.

Question about Soft Horizons and using it with FE/AS6.5.I use Flight Environment's Randomize feature before pretty much every flight, meaning it randomizes sky, water, sun, and cloud textures. If I install Soft Horizons freeware, will Flight Environment overwrite the horizon textures that Soft Horizons installs each time I randomize Flight Environment - or are the files in question here unrelated?

I have downloaded it and started to read its manual. This has raised a question I would like to ask people who has been using this plane.Since it's a russian plane it instruments use SI units i.e meters km/h. In FS ATC (and RC) assigns altitudes in feet and speeds in knots. Also altimeters is adjusted using QFE not QNH.Do you experience this as problem? I mean if things get busy and you are assigned altitudes that needs to converted and will end up as strange uneven value on the altimeter?

I'm using different panels for my default 747-400 but the virtual cockpit detracts from it. Is there any way to get rid of the VC in the default aircraft?

I'm trying to reinstall my default 747-400 and have located it in a CAB folder on disc 1. Question is, how do I get it out of there and into my FS9/aircraft directory without reinstalling the entire program? This looks a little tricky. Can anyone help?Thanks,

Downloaded the(awesome)Kai Tak V2 scenery a week or so ago from Avsim. Today after downloading latest definitions for(freeware)AVG anti-virus I got an alert for "trojan horse SHeur.AVTG" on the "9Dragons V2 Installer.exe" file.Just wanting to know if anyone else with AVG was getting this alert also.Thanks

Howdy,Well after a PS failure subsequent BIOS corruption on my vintage cheepo machine, got it all back running again. It runs better than ever. Spent 3 days driver testing, restarting, BIOS mods, converting HAL to APIC MProc, NHancer etc... Hope to never do that again, NOT a tweaker at heart. Now that it's running again and I was on the tweaking bandwagon decided to get FS9 to run better. I had long stutters that I just couldn't get rid of. It has never looked or runned better now, with sliders even further to the right !! I let FS rebuild the CFG and quite a few of the entries were changed drastically compared to my original use version. Maybe because of the FS9 update??…

Hi, I am not sure if this is the place to report this, but I have just downloaded the above file from AVSim web site and my AVG antivirus alerted me to it being a TROJAN. If I have reported this in the wrong place then, apologies.

Does anyone know if the new 3D Lights REDUX for FS9 automatically makes all the addon AI traffic planes (Ultimate Traffic and My Traffic) planes work with the 3D lights? Or, do I have to do something to make all the AI planes work with the 3D lights?Thanks,Chris Catalano

(ADMIN: This is not a hardware issue so I'm posting in this forum -- apologies if I'm not correct.)I just spent the better part of 2 days trying to get my CH Products Flight Yoke, throttle quad and pro pedals back to flying status using CH Control Manager in my FS9. (I started using CH's Control Manager quite successfully several months ago as the alternative to my registered FSUIPC, which I couldn't get to work right with the reverser command.) I made one change in my Windows XP control panel on Sunday night to make the yoke the primary controller so that I could assign a "next" button for my FDC Live Cockpit, and that set off a maddening chain of events that kept me …

Twice now, when I've opened the map page I'm presented with a black window were the map should be. Then the sim freezes and crashes. Both times I was o the ground at Cloud9's LAX. Blueprint Simulations just released KIAD for FS9 and FSX. Gotta say, for 15 dollars US (not Euro's ;-)) , the airport looks pretty dang good...textures look sharp and we can all finally dump simflyers version!http://www.blueprintsimulations.com/

Hi,I removed KIAD from Simflyers from my computer. This removed all the default runways for KIAD. Did anyone experience a similar problem?If so, is there a way to restore and retreive the original runways for KIAD?Putting Simflyers back restores the runways... But I want the scenery off...All AFCAD2 files (except stock) are removed too.Thanks!

Hi captains,As you know some scenery, like the EBBR scenery recently released, the Dreamfactory one, have, if i remember correctly, a nice (as seen in FS2000 and upwards) night texture for roads. I've got plates, charts related information about an airport... but what about gate assignments? I'd like to fly into major airports and simulate real (or close to it) gate assignments. Is there any decent web related resource out there that shows what airlines park at which gates?

Hi I have just noticed that all the default vc panel/cockpit lights are inoperative.Addon aircraft seem mostly ok except Milton Shupes Beechcraft D18S which had a functioning vc panel switch before and DM Bac 1-11 which had two settings on the o/head vc panel but now just fixed in the on position.I have let it rebuild a new .cfg, but no change.Key assignment is correct shift+L which operates the 2D cockpit fine.The most recent change I have made was to install and uninstall the TU 154m a couple of days ago ,possibly connected?Can anyone suggest where else to look for the culprit.Any help would be much appreciated.regards Jim
