Here's a question that has probably been asked many times, but I looked and couldn't find my exact problem. Can anyone help me with the following problem which has occured recently?On stating FS9 I get a message that FS9 is unable to load some aircraft or software. It than shows that it was unable to load PMDGOptions.DLL. This means that although I can still use FS9, I cannot use the PMDG aircraft as the gauges will not load.This happened at about the same time that I installed and registered FSUIPC V.3.75, however, Peter Dowson assured me that it is nothing to do with FSUIPC. I now have FSUIPC V.3.80 installed but still the problem persists, I have even installed my old V. 3.4 from my back-up drive but I still have the same message.Is there anything that I am missing, or can d…

Looking on FlightAware, I see that Delta 100 from KATL to LEBL is planned as flying the UGAAA2 departure. Alot of time when I've looked at DP charts from the US, they state that you will be vectored by ATC. Will you also be vectored if you file an RNAV DP, or will you be expected to follow it like SID's in Europe (assuming no vectors for traffic)?Just wondering how best to plan this flight for use with Radar Contact - with a DP that I have to follow, or with RC giving me vectors to my first point?

I've used FSnavigator for ten years and love it. But recently I built a flightplan using V4.5 and find that when I load the relevant saved flight and re-activate the flightplan during descent (at about 7000') to an airport in Norway, the flightplan connects immediately, but skips all waypoints instantly all the way to the destination runway which is the final waypoint. It skips about 8 waypoints between 7000' and the landing. It also slows the plane down to landing speed when it does this because the last waypoint is my final approach speed. Havent seen anything from this master jedi scenery maker in some time. I hope one day he returns to do some more individual airports. I'd especially love for him to do some rustic airports in other parts of the US.Eric

Does anyone know of a utility that will find all installed AFCAD files, irrespective of where they may be located within FS9? I thought ScanAFD would do this, but it seems not to find all AFCADs outside the Addon Scenery folder; for example, no mention of the LIRF AFCAD that is in the FS9/Lago folder, to name just one missing entry. (I do have 'scan all directories' checked).Thanks,Martin

I would like to make some repaints from my shorts 330 and 360 (for guernsey airlines and british air ferries and air UK) i have the guernsey airlines for my 330 but its in the livery before it changed to the one that i remeber the 330s that used to come into eastleigh airport, i have the correct guernsey, british air ferries and air UK liveries for my viscount herald and F-27 and i wish it could be so siple as to just add those liveries to the 330 and 360! i have a feeeling its probably very difficuilt to do repaints, esspecialy for someonme as computer challenged as i am!

I have downloaded this lovely aircraft but I have one pet hate with it, as soon as the engines are running it starts to creep forward but when I release the brakes it shoots forward as though its at half throttle (almost) has anyone else got or had this problem as it is really P*****g me off are all their otters like this? or is there a better one out there (freeware) Please help. :-boom

Hi,It feels like it's been a while since any "big release" in both scenery and aicraft, commerical and freeware. Actually, for me I think Mega Airport Heathrow from Aerosoft was the last big release. I know that Imaginesim is working hard on KATL and PMDG on FS9 verison of the MD-11, but is there anything else big we might expect for flight simulator in the upcoming months?Thanks!

Ive been getting out of memory messages recently when running FS9.I have 2GB Ram and page file set to 3GB.I have been monitoring with windows task manager and it runs out of memory at around 1.40 page file usage, Which is well below the limit.When I start a Flight it shows around 830 Mb and gradually increases during the Flight,normally it doesnt go much above 1.20GB but sometimes it just increases all the time till it runs out of memory at about 1.40GB.Not sure why it says its run out of memory when it clearly hasn,t.I read somewhere that FS can sometimes generate false OOM errors but not sure where i Read it.I know about all the AFCAD and Landcless problems that Cause o…

Hi gents. 1 big question. Who has the best ground roll sounds. Ive flown heavy and light jets for a while and for me the most notable sound is from the nose wheels. In every jet ive flown, the cockpit is usually right on top or foward of the nose gear. Looking foward, its kinda hard to judge acceleration. The change in pitch of the nose wheel sounds lets me hear the acceleration. Even more noticeable on the runways that have those grooves running across them. I love how the pitch and tone increases as you blast down the runway. Also the sound you hear as the nose wheels hit the spin brakes in the gear well. I wanted to get the PSS 777 for FS2004 for ages, but every time I checked the AVSIM/PSS/Boring forum--when PSS was still running it and in business--there was a raft of seemingly unresolved issues. That said, others swore that it ran well for them generally. Now there is no more PSS and the PSS forum is volunteer so I am wondering if anything ever really got properly solved and whether it worth buying the 777 Professional on CD-ROM from Flight1.Appreciate any views on this item, thanks!JS

Hi to allPlease can anyone direct me to what I can do to get FS2004 and FSX running again.They start up and then the computor restarts again.Fingers in hair about this.Retried to format drive and reload everything but still the same.

I believe you're supposed to be able to add ILS's to FS9 using the Faciliatator. I can indeed at them, but they don't seem to tune in. Example, runway 22R at KEWR is supposed to tune in at 110.75 but when I line up with the runway, nothing happens when I tune NAV 1 to this frequency. When I check the navaids, the ILS shows to be there. Have I missed something? Thanks

Hello everyone,I am looking for some takeoff performance charts for the use with the PIC ERJ 145. Smart Cockpit doesnt have any nor does the pilots guide that comes with the Feelthere ERJ. I was wondering if someone knew of some place to get them. I want to take off from KEYW with the ERJ but I am worried about runway length (4801 ft!) Thanks again.

This morning I noticed that a new Aerosoft AES BasePac vr 1.94a was out. I wasn't sure if this was a new version as my last version was listed as "1.94" ( without the "a"). Was this the SAME version as I had and listed as 1.94? NO. After installation the new version was listed as, "1.94a", so it was a new version after all. jerrycwo4

Hello AllIn one of my panels(777)instead of SPD in the autopilot display there is THR and in the MACH display there is SPD.would it be difficult or possible to change them both to the normal SPD and MACH?I have just been fiddling about with paint and suchlike but i am not having any joy.(because i don't know what i am doing).I would send an image but i don';t know how to do that either.Duh!cheers Andy

Hi, I recently downloaded S.Varnaskys IL-76 in heavylift colours and i found the proper panel to go with it, I dont know what i have done wrong because even though i have gone through the correct start up procedure the engines only run for a few seconds then i get a message saying fuel level is criticaly low and then the engines cut out, even though i have 100% fuel in all tanks.The strange thing is, in the readme file it shows how to load it and shows a pic from the fuel and payload settings which show it having more fuel tanks than my fuel and payload settings show, mine shows the left aux, left, centre, right and right aux tanks, but the pic on the quick guide shows it…

I made the screen shots of the selected airports in Hawaii for you this morning and uploaded them to the SCREENSHOT FORUM. These are from FS2004 with the latest version of FS Genessis. Hello, I'm starting to get into the bush flying in the alaskan region(using the wonderful glacier bay package) using my king air 200 and was wondering if ther is any way to increase the amount of trees on the ground without increasing the amount of buildings?Also, I know there are other tree textures available for download but was just wondering what would you recommend as your favorite one?Sorry but one more question lol, Also im starting to try and download files that make the scenery, ground textures and sky textures look more realistic as I have yet to improve these areas on my sim, what would you recommend to make the sim look more realistic? For those that have FSGenesis Hawaii mesh I was wondering if you can post a few screenshots of the mountains for me. I am thinking of getting that mesh but I would like to compare it with the freeware mesh I found here in the library.If you can please show the mountains around the airports of PHNL, PHLI, PHOG, and PHNG.
