I have recently, however, encountered a freeware release which has inspired me to post this commentary expressing my gratitude for this amazing release. After 10 years of Flight Simming, I had per chance to stop at Madrid- LEMD the other day. Most of the aircraft were parked on the dirt/grass. I spent parts of 3 days trying to use AVSIM files to correct it. No luck, so I got mad, shelled out $30.00 and bought the Simwings version from SimMarket. Still had aircraft on the ramps parked on the grass/dirt. Tried 2 more days trying to fix it with AVSIM files brought up under, "Madrid" / Scenery Fs2004. One guy had 6 pages of delete, copy, change,etc. Must have done something wrong because this time the COMPLETE, whole airport was on grass/ dirt. No cement anywhere? Hello AllI am not new to installing gauges ie i have a lot of Glen Copeland's and they all work with no trouble,but the other day i installed Glen's Altitude Alerter gauge and i am having problems getting it to function properly ie the other day i climbed to ten thousand (the default setting for the gauge)and on reaching ten thousand it simply turned off and the click points disappeared and that was it.I reloaded the plane and the gauge was active again,but again on reaching ten thousand this time i did get the visual display,but not the sound warning.I have rechecked the installation notes and i am sure i have done it correctly so any ideas please.cheers Andy

Hi,I hope someone can help me.I deleted the Montana Unleashed Scenery and a while later decided to add it back into my scenery library.When I try to add it to the scenery library and open the Montana Scenery folder it just appears as a blank empty folder and so is impossible to add to the library.Anybody any clues as to what the problem is?:-hmmm

Hello folks I have not had any problems that I can say relate to this problem. When I take off in a payware plane and/or default 747 or a cessna for that matter, the pitch wheel make the plane go straight up. I have seen this problem from others in the past but after 3 hours of research I cannot seem to find any answers. It seems like its a "config" problem but its happening with all m y planes. It even happens when auto-pilot is engaged. I wish I knew what other pertinant information I could provide but I'll start with this. FS9 version.

If I have multiple bgl files for just one airport, how do i know which is being used by FS9? Or are they all???My KLAX has 4 bgl files that i can see (i think). Two belong to the Cloud9 addon airport (1 of these being an exclude), one stock, and one which was obviously added by Fligh1 (Ultimate Traffic). They are all vastly different.All I want to do is add a couple of parking spots and create a few extra flightplans. BUT..... which file to open with AFCAD2???:-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm :-hmmm

Hi all. I was just wondering is there any other web pages out there that do the same as fs route, it doesn't seem to want to work for me but i'd really like to be able to export flight plans into fs9 and i have no idea how to do it manually, thanks!

I have recently been downloading different airport scenery files form this sites library, however I have noticed that all my main runway textures have all turned white, or nearly white, the taxi ways are fine so are the pans, but the main runways have all turned white.Can anyone tell me where the runway textures are and how to restore them?Dave Holt

Hi everybodyI've owned the PMDG 737, 747, Level-D 767 and the Super 80 (plus the RFP 747, but I'm going to stick with 'modern' jetliners for a while) for some time, but never really sat down and got to grips with FMCs and so forth. I finally sat down around a month ago and learnt how to fly the 737 via the FMC (making sure I actually understood what and why I was doing it).Thinking of dipping my toe in the water with another complicated bird, would anyone have any suggestions on what order I should learn these birds? I was thinking the LD767, but the FMC in the 747 looks pretty familar after playing with the 737's solidly for a month, although I'm sure they all work rough…

I flew into Madrid (LEMD) this morning and there were a lot of aircraft parked on the GRASS. This was the original, default FS2004 airport. I wanted a better airport so I downloaded and installed an AVSIM file, by Fernando de la Portilla and also a required AFCAD file underneath his file in the library. It appears to me that the new airport installed on top on the old one or ??????. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? Thanks see screenprint jerrycwo4

Hi, I uninstalled FSX and then ran the Flight1 FS9 registry repair tool Afterwards Cloud 9 KLAX and EHAM weren't showing up,I unstalled and re-installed them and now they are working. After doing all of this,When i start fs9 at any airport and with any aircraft after a second or two i get a CTD without an error message. I am at a loss as to why.How do i diagnose this problem? Has this happened to anyone else? I even tried to restore the computer to before uninstalling FSX but the computer won't do this. Would a cleanup and defrag of the computer help? thanks for any help Simon.

Greetings all.Since my migration back to FS9; I've been having issues with the AA and other settings taking shape. First off, my system specs:Dell XPS400 Dual Core 2.6GeVGA 7950GT 512 PCIe22" Viewsonic LCD2 Gig ram160G 7200rmp HDCurrent drivers are the 163 series; as the 169s I've used seem to slow down my system; or have issues with the monitor; cant quite tell, but it just seems "slow"...like my IE, quicken, etc. Flashes, bluriness....stuff like that.I've been searching here and there on the forums, and have found a few good posts on what folks have setting wise using NHancer, and I've been trying to use them.It seems that no matter what I try, the only way I can get …

Has anyone tried this yet. I am hesitent because it is really expensive. It looks a little closer to Blue Print Style offerings that Fly Tampa or FS Dreamteam which are amazing airports. I am not putting Blue Print down they price there sceneries right IMO, but I have not seen much said about Sydney since it has been ignored for a long time. I figured if it was really nice more would be said about it. I figure I would ask and see if anybody has anything to say about it.Thanks Andrew

Hi,I've tried unsuccessfully to do a couple of overnight flights from Seattle to Heathrow. Both times I woke up in the morning to see the desktop. Both FS and ActiveSky were simply gone. I'm using FSEarth and I can see where the flights ended. Both flights end when approaching Hudson's Bay from the south west.Any ideas why this would be crashing?Thanks,Adam

Hi, Whenever I fly any plane on fs9 at turn the wind on the plane moves into the wind automatically. Regardless as to weather the auto-rudder is off or on. Unfortunalty i don't have any rudder pedals- so how can I fix this problem?thanks

I've been using this neat little program by Martin Gleeson and it works great except for one thing.After you create the ILS approach and insstall the bgl file, there's nothing in the airports list of the airport ILS you modified. All there is is the airport ident. No airport name, city or state (or country). Is there a way to modify something to get that info to reappear?What i'm saying is that you can find the airport in the simulator airports list but the only thing that shows is the ident.

I need desperate help. I want to put some stuff in my airports using the object placer, so every time I go into slew and minimize out of FS2004 to the object placer, I can't sync the FS position. WHY? Everytime I use it, it won't let me sync the FS position, the button is gray and unclickable. Help!

I have downloaded and tried theUK2000 SCENERY - LONDON HEATHROW PRO V2and I have never seen as much stuttering on my current system before. Also the fps dips down to low 10 and even occasionally single digit fps. And this is with the default Cessna and only fair weather and by using fsautostart. I also got the Portland Flightzone 02 scenery and here I don't have nearly as big problems at KPDX.Now there is another Heathow airport scenery from Aerosoft. I have been able to program all the buttons on the default GPS in fs9,except for the 'clr' button. It works fine when I mouse click it,but trying to assign it to a keystroke does nothing.It shows up properly in the cfg. file. Would the only answer be to purchase FSUIPC,or does anyone know of a workaround, and if if it does indeed work in FSUIPC.Thanks for the help.skip d

Hello everyone!I am currently looking to good freeware or payware panels for commercial airliners like the B737 and the Airbus A318/9/20 series. I want a realistic panel without FMC, I would like to use the built in one from FS9.I have tried:- PMDG 737 (I now only use the model)- PSPanels 737 (very good, but EHSI freezes after a while)- Ken Mitchell's A320 panel (flying this one right now together with the Project Airbus)I hope you guys can point me into the right direction :)

I have attempted a complete removal but, the '9 Dragons' entry in my scenery library refuses to be deleted, edited or disabled?I have followed the instructions to the letter contained within the new version 2 .exe file and the '9 Dragons' entry in the library remains still.I went into my scenery.cfg and checked there. Nothing left there though.Any help appreciated?Please don't get this wrong, I thought the program was awesome and loved it but couldn't resolve the levels situation and the default Cessna 172 at 4.7 feet instead of 3.7 feet as it should be.This meant that I was seeing grass where I should have been seeing runway.
