Hi,I am not trying to model my own planes yet but would like to modify some freeware planes to fit my style. I have one that has a scary looking blonde copilot when I look to the right and I would like to push the eject button and get rid of her. I know her graphics are embedded somewhere but I don't know where or how to edit her out. Please post some info for a wannabe solo pilot...Dolph

Hi,I have installed 9Dragons v2, and I am missing textures on several airport buildings, on the airport grounds themselves. I cannot figure it out, as all files are copied and installed correctly, and according to the folders, the files that were needed to be copied over from FS9 default are there. I've been in touch with Clutch Cargo and he can't figure it out either. I have no clue...but hope I can figure it out!Tim

I can't see any taxiways in my map view in FSNavigator for any of my FlyTampa airports - none,just gates, terminals and runways. Could someone post a few semi-detailed directions on how to make them visible in FSNav, possibly using Lee Swordy's AFCAD or some other program -- or even if it's possible?As always, thanks to the group.

For the longest time, I've had these little green halos around all my white lights at night. I don't recall if they were there from the very beginning or not, but I first noticed them around the time that I installed Ground Environment Pro and the Flight1 PC12. I actually first noticed them on the PC12 as the white nav light on the tail has one that is very obvious (the brighter the light, the larger the halo is). I don't know if it can be traced back either of those, but those are the two things that have stuck in my mind. Every city light (if you get down close enough to the ground at night) has them. I reinstalled FS9 on my computer and it works great. However, years ago I downloaded a file from the library that replaced aircraft position lights and other lights with more realistic looking lights.Does anybody know the name of that download library file?Thank you in advance,Kerke

Just landed at Sedona, Arizona, originating out of KLAX (Los Angeles Int.)Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon is a most beautiful area of Arizona, and being that the Sedona airport is on top of a butte, it makes for interesting approaches due to up and down drafts in air currents.Try taking a Constellation in for a touch-down. As the title suggests I am trying to create 2D panel views for one of my FS9 aircraft.I used the VC from another aircraft to create the 7 bitmap files (Left, front left, front right, right and so on).I managed to get the views to show but the colors are strange and certain parts are see-thru.:-hmmmDoes anyone know what settings these files have to be saved with to avoid this problem?I

I just finished installing FS Genesis FS2004 and I thought I had everything loaded correct and placed in the scenery library correct, but the ALPS in Austria look too flat and even to me. The Alps are supposed to be 19.1 m (LOD 11) and compaired to the mountains just inland from KSFO (San Francisco,CA) (32.1 m, LOD 10) they look flat as a pancake, too rounded, smooth and even. The San Francisco mountains look spectacular, but the Apps are really lack luster and make me think something is wrong with my Alps FS Genesis install or scenery library order (priority number) placement.I have inclosed a screen shot of the lackluster Alps, with position, altitude and heading. What I would like please is as many views of online flying, specifically with VATSIM as possible. With fewer online ATC's and Pilots than the "offline" version, do you find it realistic. And how have you found the community there? Looking at the forum, they seem quite intolerant of the kind of mistakes any newbie would make, and spend a disproportionate amount of space making disparaging, catty comments about each other. I would like to fly online, but find the idea a bit intimidating. What standard of pilotage is expected?

Hello,I have two questions1. Is the Tinmouse II 737-200 the same as the FFX version? If so, where is the base package. The repaints reference timouse.org which no longer exists.2. Has anyone faced with the dreaded message building crash although the Ignore crash is ON in the FS options?I just lost a 3 1/2 flight from Korea to KaiTak because on turning final I received the building crash message.I am using PMDG744 with v2 of 9Dragons Kaitak. Some test I have made, departure from VHHH landing on VHHX didn't led to a crash!!!chris

Hello AllI don't really know where to start with this problem,but its one of the most frustrating and difficult i have had to deal with.It all started this week when windows update kept trying to install two updates for net framework(updates 2 and 3).No matter what i tried these updates would not install however this was no real problem as programs that i use for simming where running as normal.The real trouble started when i uninstalled net framework 1 and 1.1(WRONG I SUSPECT) although they still show in add remove programs as being installed.When i next tried loading MYASS (a flight logging program used by Airsource) the message "Fatal execution engine error" message…

I've been simming for about a year now and tonight I had FS9 freeze up on me and tell me I was out of memory twice - first time this has ever happened.I was flying the F1 Pilatus PC12 (and aircraft I've flown quite often, never a problem). The trip was only 660 miles so it's not as though it was an overwhelmingly long flight. The only change I've made recently was the addition of a freeware airport, KBHB, which was my destination for this flight and about a week ago I added flight environment, but I've completed multiple flights since adding it so I don't think that's the issue. In an attempt to interface a Touch Screen with LevelD 767, I've discovered that it is not possible to send some key press commands. For example, I'm not able to turn on or off, the Flight Director by sending a "CTL F" when I have the LevelD 767 running under FS9. But, if I send a "CTL F" directly from the keyboard on the PC running FS9, it does toggle the Flight Director on and off. The second case is, if I load the default Boeing 737, I'm able to turn the flight director on or off using TouchBuddy SW via the touch screen. The TouchBuddy works great with IL-2, Falcon 4.0, and default planes in FS9 and FSX, although I have yet to complete all the FS9 and FSX profiles I'm b…

Having marvelled at this fantastic scenery by just flying around exploring, I thought I would do a sensible flight with VoxATC.Upon creating my flightplan VoxATC refuses to start (Fatal error - disable VoxATC) this happens with any flightplan either into or out of VHHX - even the VoxATC flightplan trainer won't load the plan :( As I am using version 1 of 9Dragons I am wondering if v2 will fix this problem? (big download over my slow internet aint good)- or has anyone else any ideas as to why VHHX wont work with VoxATC.Thanks for any helpRob

Having problems with the merge I can get the 2D panel to work but I can't get any sound or the Virtual Cockpit to work. I have played around with add-on sound packages but still nothing.Does anybody have an easy to follow guide on how to complete the merge please ?

Gals, please don't cyberspacely beat me up too much. I've had 3-females, two granddaughters, age 13 and 22 (the 2 and a half-year old doesn't count, she just goes wild) and a friend, low 40s sit down and fly the sim, usually the J-3 Cub or the Cessna 172. I get the aircraft trimmed-up nicely, fly with the CH yoke and auto-rudder checked. Now, they fly for about a minute and then ask--BAM-- How do I make it crash? Good grief! Now, the only other person to fly has been my brother-in-law with not the same reaction. What gives?Deep stuff?.--Roger

Hello,Sotty if this was posted before but haven;t found anything. I have d/l the superb 9 Dragons VHHX scenery, but I want also to keep the freeware VHHH I have installed. I haev read, but can't find it, that there is a way to have both sceneries active.Any help would be appriciated.Chris

Hello AllCan somebody help explain the flap positions in the PA A buses.In most of my aircraft the flap positions are the usual p1=5 p2=10 p3=15 etc but in the PA airbuses when i extend my flaps position one seems to make no difference,but position 2 goes straight to fifteen.I now take my flap positions from IFDG airbuses(the usual 5-10 etc)and paste them into the PA aircraft,but i don't no if this is a good idea as there are four sections to the flap position section in the Project Airbus plane and only two in the IFDGs.PS does anybody agree with me that both the PA and IFDG Airbus 320s are buggers to get airborne?they seem so underpowered at takeoff and are very easily…

Aerosoft has released DHC-6 but it seems to be just for FSX. Are we FS9-folks facing it now; no new airplanes for FS9 anymore... I would like to have that but wont switch for FSX, not even for that airplane.
