Looking at Ultimate Terrain & Ground Environment Pro textures products & trying to figure out whether they cover the same aspects of scenery or overlap.Does anyone run both, & if so, what has each got that the other doesn't have that persuaded you that running only 1 of the 2 systems would not be sufficient?ThanksRP

Just wondering if anyone has the same problem. I checked to make sure there were no afcad duplicates and I have to disable this scenery for the DBC to compile. I have plenty of other scenery's in the addon scenery and this is the only one that is giving me problems.Thank-You,Ted

Hello,I'm currently using a mix of complete WoAI and PAI traffic packages with some custom modifications done by myself (changed liveries etc.).I saw that TFS released their A330 package... I d/led a file of it, and the readme says "...and attach it to some flightplans."Well, I honestly have no clue how to do that.I looked around a bit but I found nothing that could help me... so does anybody of you have link for this topic?I'd like to learn more about that!Regards,

RGFlight is due to release its Salzburg 2008 scenery for FSX at any moment now. Does anyone know if there is an FS9 version in the works, or if there is a previous version of RGFlight scenery for Salzburg available somewhere for purchase?Cheers,Charlie

I took off from EGLL 27L and could not find Windsor Castle. I was sure it was about 5-6 miles west of the rwy. Is it in the default FS2004 scenery?JS

Good day gents/gals.Does anyone here have this newly released VOZ 1.5 (australian scenery)??And does it contain the major Intl. airports down under ?? I remember, some while (ca. year ago) back, looking at their website and exploring what they were doing and it looked fantastic. But they had everything BUT the major Intl. airports. I have discovered after completing a flight from EGLL-VHHX that on the approach probably 800 ft from thr threshold the runway texture would disappear to be replaced by grass and this would carry on right down to the end... I have been having trouble with trying to get AI to work at this airport with Traffic 2005 ( I followed instructions using TT Tools decompiled, recompiled with all flightplans changed to VHHX and adding the AFCAD file to Traffic 2005AFD folder but still not seeing any planes taking off or landing!!) I wonder if I should do a complete uninstall and re installation of the scenery... I am trying to see if I have any duplicate AFCAD flies in the scenery fol…

Hi gang,I am Rutvij from India. I am presently working on AFCAD 221 Software in building an Airport from Scratch. I was almost half-way through, till I realised that I had put in the Wrong Co-Ordinates. Instead of an E (for East), I put-in a W (for West) in the Airport Reference Point Window, while Creating the New Airport file in AFCAD. Hence, instead of India, the Airport is appearing somewhere near the South American Coast(i.e in the Western Hemisphere). The Big Problem is, when I try to drag the entire Airport (which I have to do, since, I am almost 60% done), the Airport Drawings (like the Links, Taxiways, Parking Slots, etc except the Runway) become inclined at my d…

After quite a while of enjoying FSX (along with the traditional frustrations), I decided to crank FS2004, PFE/PF2000 and the IFly 747 for a SMOOTH and event less flight from KJFK to LLBG.To my distress, when I pressed the F9 key to bring up FSNav, it told me that I had used up my free 20 flights and would have to pay and/or register to use it any more (of course a purchase is now tragically not possible).I looked in my files, including backups, including DVD's, including CD's going back to the original dates of FS9, and could not find my key to save my life. Hey guys, After installing 9 dragons kai tak and setting up the ai as it was explained to do, i have been getting double ai in the us and europe, two airplanes side by side same type , flt number and destination. It causes alot problems at airports during approach. How could i resolve this problem? thank you guys ahead of time.Thanks

I have just installed up the excellent Lago EHAM with the patch and I have added the Flatten command to my scenery cfg but the AI aircraft are floating above the apron / taxiways?Can anybody suggest whta the answer is?Many thanks,Chris

Has anyone ever figured out how to remove, or remedy the repeated "MAX ALT FLYNN" and "INSUFFICIENT FUEL" error messages in the CDU for long flights on this bird? I have seen threads relative to this subject, but never a solution in the replies.I get these messages even though I have plenty of fuel for the destinations in question including alternates and reserves plus a couple of hundred thousand pounds of fuel left over. Very successful in ignoring them, but they are a nusience.Not meaning to bad mouth this fine contribution as it is one of my favorites (Thanks ifly), but I would like to get these messages under control.Thanks:RTH

I have been having some major lockups. At random points in a flight, very near the start, the screen will lock up, stutter for bit, try and unlock, but virtually just freeze.I have narrowed it down to a scenery file. cyeg_ss_v2.zip.This is the Edmonton International Airport. CYEG. And when it is deactivated everything is fine.But I have no idea why. Everything is installed the way it should. I know it uses Rwy 12 Libraries, and EZ scenery, etc etc, but as far as I know, those are all installed correctly. It is just when I deactivate THIS scenery that everything goes back to normal. Hello fellow simmers.I HAVE A BIG PROBLEM!!My ExcludeBuilder worked just fine until i had to reinstall my Operating System 2 weeks ago. Since then ExcludeBuilder does not compile any excludes. Hello AllThanks to help i have received here,my FFX Boeing's now have properly displayed pilots,and cabin lights that don't turn of with the landing lights......BUT! another question though please.When i use the taxi lights and the landing lights they seem to work like A.I.models ie the lights will display correctly when switched on,but from time to time during the taxi phase they will switch of for some time and then back on again(Like the AI aircraft).Can anybody help me with this glitch and make it three out of three successfully resolved problems.cheers Andy

When I try to install the fs91update it gives a message that "the fs9.1 update appears to be already installed. The installation will now terminate". I had 9.1 installed and working but had to completely uninstall the program due to other issues.I have uninstalled fs 9.0 and reinstalled, shut off the antivirus program, looked for fs9.1 in the registry, but still the problem happens.Hope someone can help. Every time I use the ADD Scenery section for new scenery FS9 looses it the next time I start up. For some reason it won't remeber that I have added the scenery. Also it will no longer remeber the order I loaded files up in in the priority setting, it is becoming more and more frustrating having to re add the scenery I need and restart FS9 in order for it to work.Does anybody have any ideas for a solution ?

So I have some difficulty tracking this issue.The symptoms: some airports are no longer selectable via flight planner or "Create flight". Selecting them results in a N89:30 E00:00 location. However, they do exist inasmuch as they are visible on the map and if I drag the a/c there, the scenery is complete, the tower responds, etc. These are original FS9 airports, not third party add-ons. Just wondering how do you install AFCADS in fs9, i remember in fs8 it used to be a text file and you used lee stowdys (sp?) program to install them. I tryed downloading one for fs9 and its a .bgl file, I put it in addon scenery folder fired up fs9 and went to add on the scenery but it didnt work. So where do you put the afcad ?

I had to reinstall FS9, not to long ago I installed some cloud sets from here. They were reduced clouds and helped my FS9 run much better. Any ideas? thanks Bob

I installed an aircraft a short while ago, and scenery was part of the install, and I had no idea about this.Long story short - My taxiway lines are now white.Does anyone know where I can get replacement taxiway line textures?Or, if anyone's feeling kind, could email me the default taxi-lines?
