Throttles not working except when I close them, I get TOGA thrust.Any clues?

Hi,I need to display the popup eicas/pfd on my second monitor not the whole panel but the popup displays which come up when we click the panel. I tried changing coordinates in panel.cfg it does not work. How to make it work?

I'm looking for a utility that can do this for me:Go through my ai traffic, and report to me about which planes land on a specified airport, this can be achieved in any possible way, both from the game and from the game files. This would be of great help for me when trying to fine-tune my airports.Thanks in advanceArya Tanner

I've been doing some research on mesh and here's a breakdown contained in the complete set of FS2004 Genesis mesh. Does anyone know what the "specs" were for the default mesh in FS2004, either in meters(m) or Level of Detail (LOD)? jerrycwo4

Ive been having this problem since Saturday. Everytime i try to start FS9, i get the error message and the following words on the details section;AppName: fs9.exe AppVer: 9.1.0.40901 ModName: d3d9.dllModVer: 5.3.2600.2180 Offset: 0003a46bI've searched the forum, Googled it, read even more and the only thing i get out of my problem is downloading and reinstalling DirectX 9. So, i did. It don't work still. I still get the message (error)I don't have anything snazzy on FS9 other than EZ Scenery. Bunch of freeware aircraft an scenery.I'm at my wits end. If i can't get this to work, i guess it's bye-bye simming.

I'm just wondering how icing is modeled in FS2004. I've noticed that the pitot tube will get clogged up and on my F1 ATR I've noticed some graphical ice accumulating on the icing prob, but I've never noticed any change in the flight dynamics of any aircraft. Are the effects of airframe icing actually modeled in FS9 or no?If it makes any difference I run ActiveSky 6.5.

I need to change the runway headings for my home airport, Manchester EGCC as due to magnetic pole changes the runways are now at 23 and 05. I know that there is a piece of software you can download to make simple changes to airport configuration. What is it called? I can't remember. Also I run FSnav, so I'll need to change its airport database. How do I do that?

With the AC Battery on, I am not able to call ATC to request permission to taxi. Engines have not been started as Pushback has not yet commenced. Is this how it is in FS9? Can you talk to ATC without the engines running? If so, what do I need to do in the "awake" procedure (panel lights on, avionics switched on, etc.)ThxChris

When I create a flight at a certain airport in FS9, the aircraft is automaticaly placed in line with the runway, but about 1,000' off to one side, in the mud. I have to taxi back or slew the plane over to the runway to make my takeoff. Is there a way to reset the start position for this particular airport? It only happens at this field, none of the others. Does anyone know where I can find flightplans for the Netjets USA Hawker 800 planes? I found 34 repaints of the Hawker 800 in Netjets USA markings but I can't find flightplans for them anywhere. Here on avsim it says to search for executive_jet_aviation_-_netjets.zip for flightplans, but it's not here.

The long awaited update for the 9Dragons version of Kai Tak is now online here at Avsim. 9dver1-1.zipThis is a small download which should correct the issue of CTD's when trying to go to another airport from VHHX.It worked for me.

Hi,How do I use the GPS for an approach? I tried last night and I got confused. The approach was into Martha's Vineyard and I loaded it into the GPS - Rwy06GPS. I had the nav/gps switch in GPS position. Is this supposed to handle the glide slope as well? I had to take control as I was going to go into the sea if I didn't. I searched the web and didn't find any info on how to do this. Does anyone use the GPS500 for approaches? Any help would be appreciated.

I'm starting to get into modding my planes to the stats of higher performance models of the same aircraft. For instance I've got my Dreamfleet Baron 58 modded to the stats of the old turbocharged Baron 56 model which had 380hp a side, turbocharged, as opposed to the Dreamfleet Baron 58's 300/side normally aspirated. I'm about to start work on the Carenado Cessna 210 Centurion in order to mod it to T210 specs (turbonormalized 300hp@ 2700rpm continuous rating as opposed to normally aspirated 300hp@ 2850 for 5 minutes and 285hp@2700 continuous).Anyone else into doing this?

I've downloaded a few of Project Opensky's V4 747's and noticed that the spoilerons don't work like on earlier versions. However, I also notice that the nosewheel does not turn with my current joystick (I understand that the nosewheel will only turn now with a twisting joystick and I don't have one). Perhaps the spoilerons will work if I get a new joystick and disable auto rudder, but I don't know. Anyone have any info? I hope this wasn't forgotten on these models as I believe this is something that real 747's feature.

At the suggestion of David "Opa" Marshall, I'm including my e-mail to him regarding the hassle I've been dealing with over the past week when I discovered on a flight out of London City UK, that the Millenium Dome in my FS installation was 3/4 in The Thames River. The default installation shows it on dry land at a bend in the river. I now had to figure out why "my" Dome wasn't high and dry. It all came down to Quantum Leaps Repositioning Update Program for bridges and objects under Ultimate Terrain. Hi All,I have FS Global SE 2005, and noticed that there is a newer version out now that was on the front page of Avsim.What I was wondering was, will I see improvements etc by getting rid of the older one and installing the new version.I'm not trying to be tight, but you know what I mean. I just don't want to spend the money just for the sake of it.But if anyone has noticed better visuals and improvements etc, then I will grab it ASAP.Thanks for any feed back on this.
