Hi,I am getting somewhat anoyed with all aircraft without an airstair and cargo truck/ramp modeled. So I would like to know which addon program is the ultimate help to add airstairs and cargo trucks/ramps.I know there are a few to choose from,...but which one is the best one? I am not interested in adding other stuff on the airports,...just the airstair and cargo truck/ramp. I cant' seem to move stock hangars. Is this possible, or do I have to exclude everything, and start all over?

Is it possible to make a DVD movie of a flight simulation in FS2004 using the PMDG 737NG ??Regards,jack

In an attempt to diagnose some problems, I DISABLED all nonessential scenery from within the settings of fs9. I wanted then to load flight sim and one by one add add-on scenery files. However now when I load fs9, the scenery.cfg rebuilds until 98%, at which time I get a fe.dll error. I went into wordpad and manually Enabled on all the scenery as it was before, but still same problem, any ideas?

There's supposed to be an AI version of the B1 Bomber by Rysiek Winawer but I can't seem to find it. I'd like to add this aircraft to my military AI library. Any ideas where I can get a good one?I'm good with payware if it's a good model.

Hello AllThanks to all who helped me solve the greyed out pilots problem.Guess what folks ANOTHER problem....The passenger cabin lights are linked to the landing lights(why do they do that)that means above ten thousand feet i turn of the landing lights and off go the cabin lights aggh!On a flight over europe the other day i was blacked out as though i was still expecting German me 109 night fighter attack.Can some kind person tell me if there is yet ANOTHER texture that i can download to give me cabin lights above ten thousand feet.I am talking FFX of course.Cheers Andy

I have a Glider that I launch using the 'SLEW' method. (For expediency at this stage)Keyboard commands: Y, F4, F2, Y, GOther Gliders I launch in this manner come off the top balanced & 'hands off ' flyable.Hands off this one keeps climbing in lazy loops instead of stopping the climb at F2. A clue is that it shows a 'Start your engine, hit Ctrl E' message when on the tarmac prior to my hitting 'Y'. I ignore that, but the launch is not successful.(The flyable Gliders don't show that message)Any insights on what I need to do to fix this would be appreciated.RP

Hey guys! This is a problem regarding runway recognition by the ATC. Recently, I added an ILS approach to CYYZ's rwy 24R and 24L with AFCAD. I also added the approach to the FS9 GPS and for the ATC to recognize it by using the program called ILS GPS Approach Creator. However, ATC still doesn't recognize my runways. It shows the ILS approaches for the two runways on the GPS but ATC never gives me the option to choose those runways to land on. I am only able to land on runway 23 and when I click on 'Select another runway for landing', there is no option in that menu. The weird part is, when I ask for taxi to the runway from the gate, the ATC tells me to taxi to that runway …

Can someone tell me or point me to a post that explains how to do a custom instrument view with this aircraft? This aircraft allows you to display the flight instruments as a seprate view which I move to my second monitor. However the vertical speed indicator is not a part of that view and I want to add it.

Has anyone found it in Vista? I'm not too pleased with this stuff so far. It's bulky and awkward.

Hello Alli have recently downloaded various FFX 737 models which are very nice but for one thing,the pilot and co-pilot appear as greyed out figures.This is not a particularly serious problem as i don't spend time zoomed in on the crew,but once i had noticed it,it started to annoy me.All the FFX aircraft i have display the crew like this bar one a JET 2 FFX displays the crew correctly,so i thought i could transfer the relevant texture file from the JET 2 aircraft to all the other FFX planes,but i don't know which texture file displays the crew .I cant check them out using MSpicture viewer as it only seems to display the 32bit textures. I tried removing texture files two…

I have edited and put some new textures in the aircraft folder and changed the aircraft.cfg and when i play fs9 they turn grey. What is wrong them i have used Paint shop pro 9.

Why is it that you can open/see some aircraft texture files and not others? Is there a way to open them up?

Hi all.I have never found the need to post for help yet, but now I need it.Two days ago out of the blue my FS9 started to go wacky on me.Here is the scoop:Load up the sim,Choose a flight I have done before with no problem,Sim loads and all is fine 17-19FPS ( I know not great but it works for me)CPU is at 8-15%Switch to outside view, all ok,Pan around frames drop to 3-5FPS and CPU load goes to 100% a stays put.:-madCan not do much so I exit the sim to normal way, check the Task Manager and FS9.exe is still running! :-hmmmI have to right click on it and end process to get it to end????????????Anyone else had this happen?I have not made any changes to cause this to happen.On…

I'm trying FS9 on Core2Duo E6750, 2GB RAM and ATI Radeon 3870 512MB, but I have still problems with blurry ground textures when flying in high altitudes.All textures, autogen are loading very quickly and I have no problems with FPS (locked on 30 without any stutter in all situations), but the textures are loading only in very short distance from the aircraft (as seen on the picture) and also the loaded textures below the aircraft don't seem to be sharp enough. Hello all! Im looking for someone with Wilco Legacy and Vista experience. Here is my issue. After reading some positive posts on the Legacy, I visited wilcos website to check it out. I have vista ultimate 32 so I wanted to make sure that it was vista compatible. So I checked out the technical requirements and it says fs2004 or fsx and windows xp OR vista 32 bit.I then purchased the legacy and insatlled it. Works great until I want to exit fs2004 or change to another aircraft. Then I get the CTD that says ms2004 has encountered a problem and has stopped working. It says its due to legacy_GAU. I tried to join the Wilco forum but for some reason I am unable to sign …

HiI wrote few months ago about CTD when loading EBBR (default or payware, same problem). Today I had same problem with KJFK (default and payware).Fs9 sometimes crashes after flight is loaded, but sometimes it stops responding during loading (usually after traffic starts to load, between 80% and 100%).Because of that I turned off AI Traffic, and after that everything works ok.How can I isolate which AI aircraft is problematic.?I'm using FSP models and PAI.Thanks in advanceEdin

Markaham airport and Kingston are out for FS9 :D, makes for some more excellent flying around Ontario (flight ontario's GTA addon is fantastic, for those that don't know it, living under a rock as you are ;) )Also, just wanted to take this chance to thank Keth Murphy for his excellent work on these two gems for FS9.(side note, I do have a problem with untextured trees at CYGK around the airport)

I just created an IFR flight in FS9 from Maui to Kona selecting IFR and Low Alt airways. As usual, the clearance and takeoff, but instead of vectoring me to my GPS path as usual and telling me to "resume own navigation", ATC ignored my GPS route and kept me off it but somewhat parallel to it. The GPS low airways route created by the flightplanner goes around the high mountains over the ocean before joining Victor 5. ATC ignored this and took me straight over the mountains and staying parallel to V5 for the whole route. I went back to make sure I selected IFR rather than VFR and I did.
