Hello AllAm i right in thinking that FSNavigator in its full automatic mode acts in much the same way as an FMC found on a lot of payware aircraft models?It will after all (If you want it too)takeoff ,climb,cruise, descend and land automatically.I have yet to buy any payware aircraft but would be interested to know if FSNvav can be made to perform similar or indeed identical functions to FMCs cheers Andy

Hi all,Can anyone help me about the followig screenshot ? I installed the LFAT (Le- Touquet) properly. The airport and photoscenery are great but I just had this redbox problem. It will disappear when the plane climb to a certain height but will re-appear when descending.Daniel

Hi all,Has any of you experienced a very jerky frame rate in FS2004? When I change views, it takes way too long for the images to come up. I'm flying the Level D 767-300 but I haven't tried the other aircrafts. We would be on a multiplayer session and is seems that's when the problem starts. I've already re-installed the video drivers for my video card. Is the problem in FS2004 or is the problem with my PC? Ken.

I have had an ongoing issue concerning approaches to the San Francisco Bay area when approaching from the north or west.At approx 20nm out I experience simulator "freeze" (CTD)and the dreaded "Would you like to send a report" message.I am using the FS9 Bay Area default scenery. I have repeatedthe Seattle (KSEA) to San Francisco (KSFO) flight 4 timeswhile varying the route. Freezes occur shortly after passingPYE for one route and shortly after passing ECA on anotherroute. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Would appreciateany ideas for a solution.Ken B.

When I go to FS9 and start to take off with full throttle, the throttle goes back to ideal by itself and keeps doing this, I can't take any off my aircraft off, it just started doing this. I have check the control and joy stick and everything seems to be fine. Reinstalled by FS9 cfg file and that didn't help.Need help bad.dbuck

Hy Guys.I have the Aerosoft Proflight Emulator on my FS9, but the #### thing doesn't work.I load a flight plan onto the emulator and on FS9, convert it to FS2000, compile it, and I have the virtual auto pilot in CP Mode 2, so the virtual pilot handles all communications, I load the flight at the disered airport, load the flgiht plan on the Emulator, it iniciates, saying the it's ready for the flight, I press "0" for the initial check in and absolutley nothing happens, I don't hear any instructions from ATC.If anyone can help me.....please....Thanks,AZLondon

Hello all. I have downloaded the the above addon and have installed it as far as i can. I would like to add the icon to the PMDG 737 panel but i'm stuck? In the readme it says that i need to replace the "xxx" with the proper coordinates and //bitmap size. How do i find that out? Any help appreciated.Regards Pete

Hey all, I am wondering if it is possible to update an airport, I have installed tncm scenery with ILS, but the atc and the fmc don't know that there is a ILS now for the airport, so you can't select ILS landing in the fmc, so is it possible to edit this so the atc knows that there is an ILS now and make it so the fmc knows it to?// Johnny

http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/183489.jpgok this is how hong kong looks after installing the 9 dragons scenery. i followed every instruction detail, so don't bother annoying me with suggestions like 'read the manual'. if someone had a similar problem please advice. my only guess could be, after uninstalling all previous hong kong sceneries i had, something might have gotten left over in some folder. any suggestions anyone? thanks in advanceoh and thanks for this magnificent scenery :) i just would love to enjoy it in its full glory.

I've been using FS9 for years but I've recently had a problem that's left me puzzled.I'm sitting on a runway but when I check my heading on the HSI / compass it reads as much as thirty degrees off from the actual runway heading. The value shown if I shift-z is the same as the value on the HSI / compass but it doesn't agree with the outside visual world.The problem doesn't seem to be restricted to a particular airport or a particular aircraft. Quitting FS9 and restarting often makes the problem go away (but not always).I've only noticed it when running FS Flying School alongside FS9 (which checks your heading against the runway that you are landing on).Has anyone else see…

I fly the PMDG 747-400 and use the Load manager to set cargo loads. It changes the aircraft config. file fine but when I start my flight and check my weights it hasn't changed from the last flight. I do get out of FS9 to set cargo loads and save the file but it seems that FS9 is not reading the config. file when it starts the flight. Any ideas?Thanks, John

Thank you Thank you Thank you.What a memory jogger!!!I have just loaded your Kai Tak scenery and what a brilliant piece of kit it is. I wondered how hard it might have been on the frames but with the counter set at 25 it never deviated and the IGS approach rekindled memories of the 5 landings I experienced in person at this once great airport.I'm now off to my favoutite spotting location for some more memories of when I packed my wife off shopping with the credit cards on her own so I could sit atop the car park and take in the big birds on there approach over the roof tops.Very well done guys - very well done!Aybe http://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannerbeta.jpg

Something has happened to my FS9 install. The ESC no longer works to end a flight and the Shift+Enter has no effect on the view over the nose (hard to see over the nose of a DC-3). Can anyone offer any suggestions where I might look to fix this problem, or should I reinstall FS9?Thanks,Jim Driskell

Hi allI have just downloaded and extracted FSAI seperator onto my new PC but when I try to connect to FS9 it says "FS not started connection failed". As far as I remember and as far as I can see from the readme you dont have to have anything in the FS9 folder. I have installed the latest FSUIPC so do not know what is going? Hey Guys...........I pulled the old Moach B737 Experience (freeware) out of the hanger the other day just to see if I wanted to keep it in the Aircraft file and for the life of me I couldn't figure out how to turn the cockpit panel lights on in VC (virtual cockpit) view. It's been a while since I've flown this bird and can't remember if it had any virtual cockpit lighting or not. It's mighty dark in there without it....especially at night. Hi,After using the FS9.1 for a long time now, I was wondering if it is safe to delete the folder marked BACKUP in the FS directory.I do not intend to ever go back to the original FS9 after being on FS9.1.Just curious.Thanks.
