I have installed the 9Dragons scenery and everything looks great with the exception of AI Traffic. I have none. I am using Ultimate traffic and a few specific PAI traffic files as well. Traffic is OK at other airports.thanks,Mark.

All of a sudden I am getting messages scrolling across the lower left-hand side of my screen: if I open the a/c exits, for instance, I get a scrolling message telling me that's what I am doing, on the lower left-hand side of the screen. Whilst this is happening the screen freezes up and my mouse pointer changes to 'egg timer'Never ever seen this before and it is driving me nuts! There's no way to tell how far I am above the runway so sometimes, I flare a bit too early and the plane starts ascending a bit. I know real planes have that computerized voice that goes "50...40...30...20..." SO is there any way to get that on FS2004? I never know my distance exactly before touchdown.

Running FS9 with a recently-built cutting edge PC, I started seeing the dreaded Out of Memory error in FS9. My new PC has 2GB of RAM, and something like 85GB free on the drive FS runs on. How in the world could this be???Well, a thorough sweep of the forums revealed that I was not alone. I am surprised not to find out any buzz about Charles owen's DC-3C which I discovered thanks to computer pilot magazine. It is a fantastic aircraft in which more than 40 failures are simulated. You have first to study the aircraft operations manual, then to fly by the check list and monitor the gauges or you will face serious consequences. It is very chalenging and you have to learn how the aircraft systems work which is quite interesting. Everything has been modelled faithfully.Now when I switch back to another so called realistic aircraft, I find it dull and think that making mistakes without being punished is unfair.I also would like to mention the excellent skyvecto…

I mean the reinstall thing. My sim became totally unacceptable and I backed up my aircraft and some other things and flushed FS9 down the tubes. My new system was a joy and it seemed to be able to handle anything I threw at it until my greed got to me. Backing things out didn't help at all. I am very sad. It was running so well over the holidays. 24 FPS locked and never a glitch no matter where I went - KORD, Seattle, KLAX, all the places that used to choke my P4 Prescott system. I have copied the VHHX data into the FMCWP/NAVdata/wpnavAPT file and the PMDG sid/stars file. But..the FMC says not in database when I try and put VHHX as a destination. Any ideas why this might be?Thanks, Doug

I am sure this will get moved, but, here goes nothing. I have tried SATA in FS9 and of course ATA (EIDE) and see no difference in performance. I was looking for faster frame rates from a quality SATA drive and I just dont see it.Tweaking seems to be the best option for performance.I have found that IDE or PATA is faster for Flight Simulator than SATA. (I am not sure of this, as I have not done any bench marking)I have both, I run both, I have six computers.I just wanted an opinion as to what you guys think.FS9 seems to be a processor dependent monster, and a quality video card with 2 gigs of ram Minimum. I just installed an nvidia 7300 512mg card and now i don't see the exterior lights (beacon, strobe etc.} in spot view yet they show up in tower view. Any ideas??Dean PurcellCNK4Up the Irons!!

I just tried to refly a flight to PHNL Honolulu to try a different approach than the one ATC wanted. They cleared me to a visual on RW 22 left which I find out is not only dangerous, but resticted from jets in the real world. So I opted to retry and select a different approach. I selected rw 4, and atc acknowledged, and as I neared the airport, Approach cleared me for the rw 4 approach and told me to maintain 2000 until established. Upon contacting tower, they clear me to land on rw 22, circle to land. Could someone please clear this up for me? How am I cleared to 2 different runways?? Thanks. Tom

I decided to check out VHHH, and found that the ground textures were missing. The parallel runways were there with a few grey buildings and low polygon texture-less static aircraft, but nothing else. Is this a flaw in the 9Dragons scenery, or is this intentional?Thanks,Mitch

Just installed--FantasticTwo issues1. installation instructions do not mention file 17, I assumed it was installed same as files 13 to 16.2. I have several buildings with no detail, just plain grey blocks (the two buildings to the left of the Haeco hangars for example)any ideas?Other than that the installation is fine.

I have what a question to a hopefully quick fix. I have the PS Panels' 737NG cockpit set to my POSKY 737NG and have had no real problems with them. However, I now noticed I arm the spoilers prior to touchdown and when i touchdown, with the throttle at idle even the spoilers dont deploy.... I have the PS panels 737 second generation panel (-300/400/500) on my 50N 737s and have NO problems with the spoilers deploying.. Thanks...Andrew

Hi all, I reformatted my HD and now I have these mirco stutters every few seconds in my FS9. I did not have these before I reformatted the HD. Its not really that bad, but its annoying me. I have everything set up just like my last build, with the same drivers too. Hi All, I have used simmarket for years with out a problem but now have run into a snag. on 12-8 my father ordered me the Aerosoft (FlyTampa)U.S. Airports CD package as a Christmas present.As of 1-9, he (nor I) have not recieved it.Repeated emails from him and one from me have only resulted in an "under investigation" reply from Simmarket.We live in Chicago so I wouldn't think shipping would take that long.Has anybody else run into an issue such as this?If so how did you resove it and how much time did it take?Thanks for any helpStan
