do you do the same when you download aircraft?

Hi,Just looking for some information, I hope someone can help. I only use FS2004 and I have replaced many default airports with payware. I have also updated many of the default airports with freeware (BTW: I Want To Say Thank You To The Freeware Developers).I am not crazy about the look and/or position of some of the airport taxiway/runway signage. Will Airport Facilitator X or some other program help me replace and adjust the placement of these signs?.I really only have a couple of problems with some of the signage. 1. Some of the Taxiway/Runway signs do not have any legs, they just sit on the ground.2. Some of these signs are placed right on the taxiway.3. Some signs a…

Hi all. I have read everything about using nhancer, which i am now. Just a quick low down on my specs:E6850eVGA 8800 Ultragigabyte GA-X38-DQ6 mobo2 gig Patriot pcs-9600 ramalso using the latest forceware 169.21 driversWhen I load up FS9 and the Create a Flight screen comes up and shows the default 172 spinning around the edges on the wings, fuselage, eppenage, etc are all jaggy and whn I load the scenerio they still are. I have mostly everything maxxed out. The stuttering scenery was cured with nhancer but it seems the AA just doesnt want to kick in. If i do enable AA in FS9 I believe it gets better but frames get worse. Am i overlooking a simple setting or soemthing gent…

Can someone please tell me where the FS9.cfg file is located? I've checked the /Microsoft Games/Flight Simulator 9 root directory, but it's not there !!Jim

I can't get into their website, and I can't re-install the 757 due to a "cannot connect to the data server" error. Anyone else getting this problem or know why or when this error will cease? Thanks in advance.

Hi,I have become interested in making FS9 as good as it can be now that I have a system to run it properly. I have heard of VOZ for a long time now but was limited in FPS and storage space. But Santa was good to me and times have changed. I have downloaded and installed VOZ 1.5 Complete. I am confused on what mesh to use since the library is chock full of Andy Weir created mesh. Do I need all of it (6 parts of this and 5 parts of that) or is there one comprehensive list somewhere I should follow? FS9 works great, but after quitting FS I get an annoying error message pointing to the Weather module. I have replaced this module, but with no luck. FS2004 is patched to 9.1. The following two sceenshots shows part of the report (for the weather module).

Something weird happens when I'm near Bremerton KPWT and west of Orca Island KORS where for a short time all my txtures go blurry except my gauges. After I reinstalled FS2004, I've benn having problems with the scenery. Every time i start it, I get this message: SCENERY.cfg error. Local scenery directory (scenery/whateverfits/scenery) in scenery area.xxx not found. Click OK to continue.I get ths message on almost all the default scenery. The install says everything was installed, and I have tried reinstall 3 times now. But one thing that is weird, is that itremebers the addon scenery I had last time it was installed, and I get the error there. Do anyone know how to fix this problem? I cannot add addon scenery, and the ground looks like crap.

Hello all! I recently re-installed FS9 (I also run FSX), and I'm having a problem where all anti-aliasing goes away whenever I change to windowed mode, or whenever a window is present on the screen (like when I have a the squawkbox text box active, even though I am in full screen mode at the time, the AA goes away). In FSX, I retain AA regarless of whether I am in windowed or full screen mode. I have a geForce 8800 GTX card with the 169.25 forceware drivers installed. Any ideas? Thanks,Paul

I've been an avid simmer for awhile now and have collected quite a few resources to use when planning and executing a flight. I know there are several applications that augment alot of the sites I list here, but if you don't want to install (and pay for) apps on your simming box, these sites allow you to plan your flight on paper with ease. I just downloaded a file for offshore helio oil rigs. The scenery file contains the rigs and a FSN file to locate them. I dont own FSNavigator....anyone know of a way to get this file to be read by FS9?this file is from ODG USAEZ Gulf of Mexico demo

Please anybody knows what it could be happening with Kota Kinabalu airport in my computer? I was landind at this airport when I saw the whole airport surrounding by sea water. It seemed the Kansai airport from Japan, in fact it seems worst. Moving to map view position I can see rwys, parkin and building shifted from onshore to offshore position, as showed by the picture attached. Hi Guys First of all a happy New year to you all. I have recently downloaded the new Fruit stand A330-200 TAM Airbus and very nice it is too. However it doesn't land at KMIA as It should, but instead goes on a low level tour of Florida carrying out missed approaches over what was once a quiet residential area. ( House prices in the area have plummeted as you can imagine). I have loaded it up with two different sets of flightplans but this doesn't appear to make any difference ( TAM JULY 06 & TAM OCT 06). All other Airbus A330s within the main aircraft folder behave themselves why should this one cause problems? In saying that I have a feeling I have a Midwest 717 buzz…

Lately, I'm crashing almost every time I land 4R at Fly Tampa's excellent KBOS. First, it looks like ILS is bringing me in just a little too far left of the centerline, and when I take my POSKY 737-900 off Auto approach to compensate, at about 50 feet above AND 300 feet out from the runway threshold the nose dives very suddenly, as though I've hit an invisible wire strung across the end of the runway. If I let the ILS take me in all the way over the runway, I set down OK but then I inexplicably crash, with no idea why except that MAYBE I slipped off the edge of the pavement.I looked at the AFCAD and everything looks fine, but I'm afraid I'm not experienced at troublesho…

Hi all and happy New Year in advance.I am currently flying SA208 from KIAD to FAJS which is a 15 hour flight if all goes well. I am using the Wilco Vol 2 340-600 and to be fair it is working perfectly. Would someone please help this old #### figure out what is wrong?When I load FS9 and go to the screen where you select a specific aircraft, I used to see a pic of the aircraft that is selected. Not anymore !!!! No matter what aircraft I select, default or otherwise, the "picture" box is empty. I can still load and fly any aircraft, but the pic just doesn't show up. All other FS9 functions and operations work just fine.What the #### did I screw up now, and please tell me there is someway to fix it WITHOUT having to reinstall FS9 !!!Thank you very much,Jim

Just downloaded simflyer KPHX which has been around for a few years--first thing I noticed was most of default and payware aircraft "bounce" on taxiways/runways.
