Is there any payware quality scenery for Memphis? Searched Just Flight, SimMarket and Flight1, but not found anything.

Hello,I do not fly via the VC. Keeping the fact that I do not use the VC, between the two aircraft listed, the Coolsky MD80 or the Maddog 2006?. Which aircraft is the better buy?. I'm not looking for just a pretty looking aircraft, I want realistic performance and systems.Thanks

What's wrong with my approach to Juliana Airport? I set up a VOR approach to Runway 9 and I get aligned with the runway and everything and on the airplane panels and GPS, it shows that I'm perfectly aligned with the runway, when, in fact I am 200 feet to the right of the runway at the end. Then, I have to bank the plane left only 1 nm from the runway and do a dramatic landing that usually ends with me skidding off the runway. Why does it show that I'm lined up even though I'm not? These VOR approaches work in all the other airports :(

Hi allHave just installed FS9 and launched for the first time on my new PC this morning and everything is going good. There is just one issue I have. When I clicked fly now it took me took me to the cockpit view but normally I can press any numpad key to navigate my view around the cockpit - to see around me. I tried this and I get a funny outcome where the panel stays on the screen and then i cant get back to the forward cockpit view unless I goto view/view options and click OK. Hello:Everytime I use fsautostart I get the message "Unable to allocate memory" at approximately block 200 of 205 during the allocating block process. Does anyone know what this means and does it affect memory usage while flying?Thanks!Airbus

Hello guys:Heres another issue I've just noticed: transparent/ghosting aircraft. Is there a fix for that? It seems to have affected all of my aircraft, default and addons alike. I had not noticed this before and there are only a handfull fo my aircraft that do not show this. Any input is always appreciated.

I just completed rebuilding FS9 fron scratch. Had a few problems, like forgetting to reinstall FS9 SP1, but all in all it went fairly well. There were two reasons that I rebuild FS9:1. Somehow with my adding/deleting of various terrain add-ons, almost all of my North American airports were elevated.2. FS9 payware/freeware was taking up 32 GBs on my hard drive. I decided to trim some of my software.I do have one small problem, after rebuilding, the textures between the runways and taxiways, for the most part, all contain the "crossed" textures that you see flying over cities. I posted this over at the Flight1 forum, but thought I'd post here as well.. just to see if anyone else is experiencing this problem...I've been using the FS Avidyne gauges with the Eaglesoft SR22 in FS9 (when they work, they work smoothly and beautifully), but I am getting out of memory errors after about 1 hour of flight time. I thought maybe it was just a fluke the first couple of times, but so far, it's happened in about 9 out of every 10 flights. I've watched the memory usage in the task manager steadily climb throughout a couple of test flights until there's nothing left and then I get the dreaded OOM message and I am forced to quit FS9.My system specs are quite rob…

Whats the best way to improve general scenary in FS2004. Ie; general ground textures, more auto-gen buildings, some grass around airports.Insted of buying indivitual airports is there one package that would just enchance the defult scenary?Thanks

For some reasons, including the beauty of the model, great xml coding and excellent wing views, I have done my best to merge the latest Posky 747-400 v4 model with my PMDG panel.After some experiments I got it working fine. I have made a few short test flights above the state of Washington yeasterday (yes, KBFI) doing necessary tweaks after each and the last one seemed troubless.One thing I don't know yet after these only short hops is the fuel consumption. Has anyone else experienced the engine quitting in the FS9 Mooney Bravo (for no apparent reason) once clear of the active? It's happened twice now, once at Santa Monica, CA (SMO) and then again at Las Vegas, NV (LAS). Also, what kind of performance are you able to get on climb out? It *should* be able to maintain at least 1000 fpm (if not a lot more) to 10000' msl with surface air temp around 65 degrees from an airport at 500' msl, shouldn't it? With throttle and prop maxed (yes, gear and flaps up, wise guys!) it limps along between 700-800 fpm (never stabilizes) at 90 kias. Lowering pitch attitude yields about 500 fpm climb rate at 120 kias. I even kicked out two passeng…

Happy New Year folks ...Landclass & texture folders together - a definite no no, according to all the words of wisdom and I have been careful to make sure that any landclass I install has no texture folder associated with it.However, I installed the recommended tool Flightsim Manager recently, which has the ability to scan for all landclass files in FS, whatever their name. The report shows hundreds of LC files that have been installed as part of 3rd. party sceneries, which of course mostly have texture folders with them.Does this mean that I should move all these LC files out of their original scenery folders and place them elsewhere? Hello Gentlemen:Trying real hard to keep my frustration in check here, LOL! I decided to tidy up my hard drive today, you know the removal of unused programs and defragmentation etc. When I loaded FS2004 I was horrified to see that several of my gauges in the default C172 (my default flight) were missing. Note: this is the only aircraft that has been affected. I have so many addons that I just can bear the thought of a complete reinstall. Well it's come down to this, after battling for weeks, I have to admit defeat and look for outside help to defeat the blurries.Purchased a new PC recently, a Core2 Duo 2.13GHz, with 2 GB DDR2 667MHz RAM and an BFG GeForce 7950GT OC 512MB PCIE and FS9.1 runs like a dream, steady 30fps everywhere with full AI and weather and not a stutter in sight.Then I noticed blurries in places.Thus the downward spiral began. I have a problem I have never seen nor heard of. All my airports from the New York area (except for the major ones) are missing from my FSNav maps and from Flight Sim. I suppose that the default file for that area is corrupted somehow, but don't know which file to look for or where to look for it on the FS disks.Area missing is from W71 to W75 and from N39 to N41. Grass areas are where airports are supposed to be, but no runways and no ILS operation (no ILS for even the major airports). Airports also do not appear in the "Go To Airport" menu in Flight Sim.
