This request is about enlarging engine gauges. I have the Libardo Guzman C-46 Commando (GA-Curtis C-46 Commando). It's a fantastic old bird to fly and he and his staff deserve a hearty thank you for giving the sim community this aircraft.I would like to able to enlarge the engine gauges, for example, the manifold and propeller- rpm gauges. They are too small on the 2D and Virtual Cockpit views for accurate power settings. I suspect they can be enlarged because the arrow cursor becomes a hand symbol when moved over one. However, the hand does not have + or - signs as when selecting frequencies, or the such, by left clicking to go up or down the numbers. It's just a hand …

Hi there and Merry Xmas and happy new year to you all.I have both PMDG B737-600,700,800 & B747-400, and whist these are great add ons for FS2004, I am experiencing some trouble with the Boeing 747-400.The trouble I am having is that when I am reviewing my landings after a flight via the instant replay function, the landing gear appears to "sink/disappear" into the runway (and no I didn't do a hard or rough landing). With all the other add on aircraft I have eg PMDG B737-600,700,800,PSS 777-200,Level D 767, this does not occur and the landing gear touches down like it does in reality.Is the problem I am having with the PMDG B747-400 are a software one??, or is there a …

Greetings and Merry Christmas to all,Its Dec 26th and when flying out of Albany there is no snow showing at all.I am trying to remember that last year after the FS clock changed to winter(12-21) snow patches were present.If I advance the date to Jan I get snow.Any help; I'm clueless.Best regardsAndrew

I am getting sick of this. In my flights, all distant textures are blurry, and my anti-aliasing seems to have died. I have 4x AA and 16x AF in the Catalyst Center, 1280x1024x32 resolution, MIP Mapping Quality 4, Hardware-Rendered Lights 8, and all scenery settings maxed out. It happens occasionally. If I open the CCC in flight, which dramatically slows down my computer, I can clear the textures and get good AA, however I go to File and select something, and the moment the flight loads back up, everything goes back to bad quality. Could my card be dying?? I've circled the blurries in red and the AA problems in yellow. I'm using no performance enhancing add-ons except Speed…

I sometimes see small commuter aircraft like CRJ's or Dash 8's parked in GA areas. How do I keep them out of GA parking? BTW, I do know how to use AFCAd2.Dave F.

I have Ground Environment; Flight Environment; Ultimate Terrain;FS Water; Active Sky and FS Global. Can I use some or all of these or just one or two before I muck up my FS9 install?

What is the difference between Freight Dogs and Freight Dogs the Scenery? Is one an update to the other? Do you need both to make the program work?ThanksTom

In the 'aircraft.txt' file for AI Traffic Mover, I'm posting the aircraft speeds at about 490 for the larger heavies and about 450 for smaller jets (737, etc) and 480 for the mediums (757, 767, etc) Does this sound about right? I'm not sure if AI's are subject to wind conditions or not, they seem to fly in a world of their own. Just curious if my speeds are realistic. Thanks

Hello everybodyNext to the regular freeware civil and military AI-packages, i'm experimenting a bit to create some more extra military traffic.But i've come to the problem that some aircraft are not appearing at all as AI-traffic (but they do show up in the FS aircraft menu and are flyable). I'm using a simple flightplan to test it, which is working well with other known to work AI-aircraft.I know the aircraft i'm trying (eg. Kazuniro Ito's SU-24, TU-22P, and TU-22M3) are not specifically made for AI though. Is there some tool or a way to know if an aircraft is suited for AI.What could be the cause? I have just reinstalled FS9 on my new computer and all was well but somehow during the process of installing addons and tweaking most of my Autogen is gone. Buildings seem to be there in the downtown of a city and airport buildings are there but no Autogen houses etc.Any ideas ?I have searched the forum but cannot find any others that have had this issue.thanks,Mark.

Does anyone know of an autopilot that can be shown in a window, instead of being added to a panel?I have a couple of panels I want to add an autopilot to but there's not a lot of room. I usually add the default Lear45 AP but squeezing it in on these panels make it too small to read easily. I have searched downloads but cannot find anything else.Many thanks,TW.

Does anyone know of any better files for the airport polygon grass textures? The winter textures (not hard winter) are really bad. I thought I had some better ones that blend better with GE Pro. I have found bmp''s that change the detail, but they do no change the colors. I believe these are the 139xxxx.bmp thru 143xxxx.bmp in the scenery/world/texture folder.Thanks!Rick

Hi,do any of you know of any re-paints for this great heli by Alphasim, Sikorsky MH-53J.I have looked here, but could only find one bright coloured expedition one.I seem to remember a short while ago an author made a pack of about 6 liveries, but they were not for the Sikorsky MH-53J, which is a shame as they were fantastic looking, and offered a variety.Thanks for any info.

I'm going to try and buy myself one airplane so I need to get it right the first time. I have a 1.5GHZ box with 128MB Nvidia board. 640MB of ram. I'm leaning towards the Cheyenne but Aerosoft/Digital Aviation recommend 2GHZ or better. I meet their other requirements. The only requirement listed by Flight One is the OS and I meet that. Any chance some of you have both or if some of you have these and lower end rigs like mine you could give me some advice? Thanks!Neal

When the new VCs came out a couple days ago for the POSKY ERJ's, I plugged one into the ERJ-135 but couldn't get it to display. Went to the POSKY forum and observed that some others -- but not all -- were reporting the same problem. But they were being told that they weren't following the installation instructions correctly.Turns out, however, that the viewpoint is way out ahead of the panel on the VC model in the ERJ-135 file download. The ERJ-145 VC doesn't have this problem; it displays fine. I'm not a POSKY forum member, so I'll mention it here.John

I fly a Pilatus PC-12 and a King Air 200 from Hesperia, California. How do I get FS9 to have a memory about where they are parked?Can I get FS9 to have a memory about ALL aircraft? If I leave something in a particular airport will it be there until I move it?

After the "death" of FS Navigator, it looks like FS Commander is the only actively developped product left. Are there any other alternatives (for FSX as well)?Andreas

Is it possible to fly for a period of time in which either the stick or the sim itself will not allow for control of the plane. I was flying PMDG 737 800 from Key West to Grenada the other day (3 hour flight) and when deactivating autopilot to manual land, it was like trying to steer a boat with a sail. Is there some type of "timeout delay" that will cause this type of thing to happen?
