Hey, I tried to sign up for the Feelthere forums, and everytime I tried to sign up I would never get the confirmation e-mail. I tried 2 different e-mail accounts, I tried a different username, and still no luck. Then, when I tried to e-mail them using the e-mail for their forum support, it came back as undeliverable. Anyone else had issues there?Cheers,SKPS: All I wanted to post is a request for them to fix their Airbus Vol. 2 liveries.

Hello.I'm hoping someone can answer a question for me regarding the PS Panels 737NG panel and GoFlight hardware. It seems that my GoFlight hardware (switch panels etc.) do not seem to be able to make the switches work in the PS Panels 737NG panel and I'm wondering if anyone knows a way around this. The panel itself works fine using the mouse to move switches etc but I of course would like to be able to use the GoFlight hardware instead. If anyone has any info on this I would appreciate you passing it on.Thanks very much!

I have installed my FS9 on a vista machine. I used admin and XP compatale. Almost all of the aircraft will load and then when moving will turn left. When I reload the airplane it will fly OK.I have the Saitek yoke installed. However when I disconnect it there is nothing changed. I have unchecked the auto rudder with no help. The rudder peddals are deflected to the left. I did a search with no results. I think this has been addressed before. All help is appreciated.Ralph

Just wanted to express my gratitude for the developer(s) of the Savoia Marchetti S.73, available here on AVSIM.Certainly something a bit different which offers a unique challenge! Its always great to see that high quality freeware development is not entirely dead. So, Stefano Meneghini and anyone who contributed to this project - Thank you very much! I'm having lots of fun with your model!!

Hello,I am experiencing random crashes due to a d3d9.dll error. For example, I had just completed a flight and was taxiing to the gate when FS9 crashed to desktop. The error was d3d9.dll. Also sometimes FS9 won't even start up and again the error is d3d9.dll. I'll re-start my computer and will start FS9 and no problems. I was having this issue before and re-installed DirectX 9.0c and the problem went away but now it seems to have come back to haunt me. As I said this is a random occurrance and I never know when it will happen. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance.Scott

Hi folks, I hope some one can help me here,I just fired up fs9 and was working my way to a runway when my engines died.Weird I thought but just restarted them again, but again the same thing happened .I changed aircraft to the wilco 737 and again the same thing, tried pss 757 and yet again it happened.I have changed my motherboard without a fresh install and that went well and with no problems but i don't believe that to be the problem.I also re-set all failures to off .any help would be appreciated.

I know it has been asked in the past, but I wondered what most people use now for ground night lighting/textures? It is hard to search the library to find all of the freeware offerings...I have Ultimate Terrain, but don't use their night lighting. I also have Ground Environment Pro, and do use those night textures. They are nice, but is there anything better? What is everyone using? It is hard to tell from just screenshots. I found payware textures called Ultimate Night Environment 2007, but those looked a little too bright from the screens (although they may look good in the sim, night shots are funny that way).

Hi,I'm not that much of a GA person (only have SF260, next big plane is the Aeroworx B200, rest are FMC-driven heavy metals), but I was itching for change in pace so just DL the new F1/Dreamfleet Piper Dakota.Wow, nice plane to fly around! Instrumentation is smooth and excellent. Model, sound, documentation is first-rate. Night flying is a pleasure. I read that the turbo charged version will also become available for free so looking forward to that!http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/182040.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/182038.jpghttp://forums.avsim.net/user_files/182039.jpgReminder: Must setup flight to St. Barts (TFFJ) to enjoy FlyTampa's TNCM scenery. One cos…

Hey, guys.I'm a big fan of using approach and departure plates when I fly because it adds to realism, without a doubt. Unfortunately I can only find ones for US airports. (http://www.Aeroplanner.com)Does anyone know a (free) resource of European departure and approach plates? Thanks in advance,JonPS: Also- are there any planning websites for European airports that are similar to http://www.flightaware.com ?

Here's the sitch...Aircraft: Douglas DC3Wind: 274 @ 18Airport: KTHVRunway: 35I'm hand flying the approach. I touchdown at 88kias, a little fast but no big deal.My trouble is I am at about a 40 degree angle to the centerline axis of the runway. So I'm thinking that this is what I should have done. Assuming I come in at an angle (crabbed?), I should have applied right rudder to swing the tail left and align the fuselage centerline to the runway centerline *just* before touchdown. I also think that means I should do this *just* left of the runway center line so that as I start being pushed right, I actually touchdown in the center. I then continue to apply right rudder (pr…

When attempting an ILS approach with a GA, using the autopilot:1. Set the runway ILS Freq into the radio2. Predetermine the glideslope and insure that you are in the cone3. Set the autopilot approach switch to on4. And set the GPS/NAV switch to the NAV condition. Is step four correct? With both Dreamfleet Archer and the Carnado 182Q I have beeen unable to capture the glideslope on my last two flights. Just checking for an errors.Tom

...there are things that come along in FS or to do with enhancing FS that brings joy to the average simmer. Some big moments for me was when I first discover Squawkbox and when FS introduced AI, ATC and autogen making flat dead virtual world have some life. Other then that there have been many things that are great and leave me amazed but not on that kind of level. Until now.I just discovered FSEconomy and am taken away with how well it works, how simple it is and how real it can make the kind of simming I do seem real. Hard to believe I'm just discovering it since its been around for awhile but am very happy I did. I'm posting this in case there are others who dont k…

Hello AllI would like to add Lee Hetheringtons TCAS gauge to some of my aircraft.I have become quite adept at adding third party gauges, but in this case there is no option for a clickable icon ie to display the gauge you have to press SHIFT+key and i would prefer the option of clicking on a cockpit icon. Could somebody tell me how its done please.cheers Andy

Hi,Does anyone know how FS9 calculates V-speeds? Does it use the figures in the aircraft.cfg files, or is it embedded in the AIR file? Thanks in advance,Andrew.

I am going crazy trying to fix this!! For 5-10 minutes after I start a flight everything is fine, then suddenly the ATC window stops responding - I press 1, 2, 3 or whatever and nothing happens. I thought this was just a problem with one or two payware a/c I have, but now it seems to be affecting others as well.I've read quite a bit about the infamous 'dead battery' syndrome in FS9. I've tried just about everything to stop this from happening, including the "battfix.zip solution" from the AVSIM library. Nothing works. I added electric_always_available=1 to the aircraft.cfg file, but this doesn't really help either - my ATC still goes off. As far as I can see all the elect…

Some may remember the popular TV show "Northern Exposure" 1990-1995. It was located in the fictitious town of Cicely Alaska but filmed in Roslyn Washington. I was wondering if someone would like to take a shot at fixing the best location for Cicely Alaska from the clues given in the TV series. I don't think every clue can be used to fix Lat. & Long. to a specific location in Alaska so maybe priority of the clue should be a consideration. If we can fix a location by Lat & Long. maybe a scenery designer could recreate the town of Cicely Alaska (Roslyn, WA) for FS9. If you think you have found the best spot could you please reply to this thread with the Lat & Lon…

The fact the both CTD's happend while changiing views, I think that may have something to do with it.Ideas?Dave FisherCYYZP4 Prescott 3.2e 478p 800mhz 1mg CPUP4P800SE Asus Motherboard2.5 gig PC3200 DDR RAM 400MHZGeForce 7600GT/512 OC'dMaxtor 80 Gig ATA 133 HD x2WDC WD800 80 Gig HDAntec 500watt true powerSharp 19 inch LCD MonitorSaitek AV8R-01 Joystickhttp://www.jdtllc.com/images/rcv4bannersupporter.jpg
