Hi All,I 'd like to ask whether :1. It is possible to get rid of FS9 ATC phrase "please expedite your turn to heading...." and if yes, how ?2. It is possible to modify (change) the airspace ATC sector frequencies (not those modifiable by AFCAD, ie approach, tower, ground), and how ?Thanks,Sotiris.

Hi,I'm no artist, I'm not able to create some of the outstanding repaints that I have seen and use here at AVSIM.Now: "Don't Get Me Wrong"I think your work/contribution to the flight simulator community is great, but I do have one question to ask some of the repainters out there. Why, do you spend so much time and effort in creating a repaint, only to upload sample screen captures that are totally in the dark?. Hi All and Happy New YearI have started to use the GPS now and am wondering why the GPS cant adjust the ground speed by calculating the winds in FS9. I did two exact flight plans one with 30 knot head wind and the ground speed and the GPS was the same for both flights. I may be missing something but what is the point of having a fancy GPS or FMS if it cant pull real time weather data from FS for regaular ground speed adjustments. The only way I can think to do this is to import winds from active sky 6.5 into fsbild them export this into FS9. Once this is loaded into the GPS it will at least have allowed for the winds at that flight level, although not a great solution bet…

Can you still use these two? I have Ultimate traffic and use World of AI and dont want to change all of these files yet. It would take too long right away so I want to keep the two Airports for know. Can anyone tell me if they had any luck with both airports.Thanks

I am getting into helicopters as a break from the normal fixed wing jets. 1. I am having difficulty finding a panel I like, one that has features that are familiar to me such as cockpit commander and a workable gauge set, etc. Can you recommend a good panel for helicopters?2. How much autopilot functionality can I get away with and be somewhat realistic? Altitude/attitude hold, heading hold, etc. 3. Does ATC really make helicopters follow the usual approaches or can it be made to let me land on a helipad?Thanks in advance,Dolph

Ok I have reinstalled FS9 onto my computer. I have service pack one installed also. The only error in the installation was the tokyo.cab couldn't be found ( very old and scratched disk ). Heres my problem since, the reinstall the only thing the sim can do is manage to crash every single time. It will happen at various times so I cant tell you it always happens in cruise etc. And at various airports. I am running the latest version of sqwuakbox3. As far has I can tell all my drivers should be up to date. I bought the computer with vista and have downgraded to XP. I downloaded all the current drivers when I reinstalled everything.Ray Blaszak

I am reformatting and reinstalling FS9. I am currently in the process of installing scenery. After each add on i like to start FS so it build the database and then close FS and then continue on to the next addon. As soon as FS loads it has the c172 spinning around with the default seattle selected. Well now if i go to change the airport to start at i can only see 108 mile ranch and afghanistan. and it had a big list of 108 mile ranches and afghanistans. But it does say 23760 airports found. anyone ever experience this?

Could it potentially have something to do with the hardened areas/spotting locations ?If Clutch or someone else could speak up with the specific filenames, I'd be happy to test.

Recently I purchased a new computer. Unfortunately it came equipped with Vista Premium Home Edition. I installed FS9 and to my surprise it worked great. Fast, smooth beautiful..... I have started putting in addon scenery - freeware and payware - and have run into a problem. When I add scenery in the scenery library they do not save. The files save in the addon folder just not in the priority list. Some do and some don't. I go back into FS9 and try to add them to the library again, restart the sim and the newly added airport or mesh are not in the list and when I load the airport it is not there. Any ideas or should I go out and get FSX.ThanksGraham

I'm try to find the site for the MS FS9 Learning Center on line. MS has FSX at their FS Simulator site as a PDF, but I couldn't find it for FS9. I find that the presentation of the FS9 Learning Center is too small and difficult to read on the monitor.Thank you for your help and a Happy New Year to you all.--Roger

Over Christmas I purchased a new PC. Core 2, etc, etc, etc, with 2GB Ram.I had been using an older PC for a couple of years and had always had very good results with FS9 (very few crashes of any kind). I always use: PMDG747 or LDS767 or F1 ATR, FS2Crew, ActiveCamera, Ultimate Traffic at 85-90% or so plus some additional GA traffic. The only addon scenery I used was F1's Islands of the West Indies. I use WideFS, so the client PC runs AS6 Wx, AI Separation, FSCommander.So, I get the new PC, and install the exacty same addons. Nearly double the framrates.... very nice. Then I discover scenery called Ultimate Terrain USA and FSG Mesh/Landclass. And both are reasonably …

I'm looking to add some aircraft to my Overland Boeing and Airbus fleets. I'm looking for "light" aircraft with VC.I stumbled upon this 717 the other day. It looks a little rough around the edges (panel for example), but overall it seems pretty reasonable. Does anyone have it yet? And what's the deal with "Perfect Flight"?

I installed this thinking I would like it better then the PMDG 747 and well....I don't, it doesn't even come close. Anyway, does anyone know how to get rid of it. I uninstalled it and removed all folders of it from the FS9 folder, but it still shows up in the aircraft menu inside FS9.thanks, Dan

Well ive perservied with there products, mainly there airbus vol1 and vol2.Last night i posted on there unofficial fourms cause i found out throgh someone checked the wilco site that SP3b was released. No one can post on there airbus fourms due to them being locked since last year.I asked why in #### they cant post and say HEY guys theres a new SP go get it at Wilco ENJOY!!Post got deleted.
