Hi there, I have managed to get 9dragons Kaitak up and working, all but the AI traffic that is. I have PAI installed - nothing happens for about 5 mins but then a HORDE of aircraft descends on Kaitak. There are about 12 of them tail to tail or on top of each other and of course only 1 or 2 land. The rest have to do a go around.I followed the instructions to the letter by diverting the craft from the new Hong Kong airport. I really love this scenery but would like it even more if the traffic would land correctly.As far as taking off go thats fine, all works well.Anyone else having the same trouble? or can you help me please.regardsRichard

I have a plane that feels tight when turning the yoke to the left, however when I turn it to the right the plane is all over the place; and it doesn't matter if it's on the ground, or in flight. I know it's not my flight yoke...no other problems with any other planes.

I installed Greek Airport Project's sea bases scenery, which is nice - but there's a problem. They don't have a forum of their own as far as I can see, so maybe someone here can help?At one of the bases, aircraft bob up and down as if they are in the ocean, when they are in fact on dry, brown earth, several dozen metres away from the sea.How to I shut off this effect in the scenery, so that a/c don't sink into what is solid ground and start 'riding the waves', as if they were on water?Thanks,Martin

Started flying this bird a couple of days ago.Great aircraft, but I have the following speed issue.I never can fly this aircraft above 137-138 kts, even with a power setting of 75% or more (let's say 24"-2400rpm at 3000').However, the Piper Dakota is given a max cruise speed of roughly 145kts.Any clue guys ?

Hi, on the last couple of my flights I've run into the problem of an AI aircraft lining up on the runway and just sitting there forever. Not sure where to start with this problem as I'm using a huge cocktail of add-ons and a massive custom AI database. The first thing that came to mind though is that as i'm using radar contact, that perhaps there is some conflict here between that and the default ATC system. I've made sure there's no double AFCAD's ect. sorry for asking this question thats probably been asked 100's of times but as a newer user to fs2004 i'm interested in learning how to have airports upgraded from default to include gates, jetways, ground crews and vehicles ect ect. my main airports would be EWR, like i said i'm a newer user but would like to learn what files ect are needed. I have a newer, higher end computer with a high end vid card. I have begun using WOFAI packages and my airports are being populated with new ai so i'm looking for some more airport usefulness and eye candy.thank you all for any helptom

A week ago I received my new laptop (a Dell Inspiron 1420), so I started to play a little bit with it. I couldn't resist, so I installed FS2004. I was amazed at the sim's performance (although I installed only PSS 757, Colombia Virtual 2007XE and some AI traffic).However, as the computer came with Vista (no SP1), the performance in other duties wasn't good enough, so I decided to install SP1. For that, I had to update first my sound drivers with the ones at the Dell homepage. After that, installed SP1, and later, after everything was done, started FS2004. Hi guys, I have three small problems when flying around Southern California in FS9 as of late.1. Framerate is a slideshow in LA Basin. I don't know what is causing it, but as of recently, whenever I fly anywhere around LA, I have framerates of 7-12fps. Weather and aircraft don't seem to matter and the framerate is equally low at LAX as it is away from it. I have a DuoCore with 2GB RAM and have fps in the 25-60 range elsewhere. Addons installed: Cloud9 LAX, freeware In-and-Out, Shez's KSNA, KONT KPSP, and KBUR, FSGenesis freeware mesh, lots of custom AI (WOAI, MAIW, etc.). If I move away from LA, e.g. to San Diego, everything is fine again. It's just in the entire LA Basin…

This one had me stumped. I have gone to DAAG at all times of the day/week and I am not getting any traffic on the ground. Aircraft do approach the airport but they just pass it by and fly off in to the sunset. The place is completely abandoned.I have Ultimate Traffic and about 100 other traffic bgls. I have traffic everywhere and everything seems to be operating properly. I have traffic at LIRF,HECA, LLBG, LEBL... If I go in to ACA2005 and run a timetable for DAAG, there are plenty of flights. Hi All,I'm having a problem when taxiing after a landing, and just cannot find/figure out what I may be doing wrong. Hopefully, someone may be able to provide some help.After landing, and when I exit the active runway, I am trying to proceed to my terminal gate. It seems I am not able to increase thrust to keep my speed up, and then the Legacy comes to a stop. At that point, I'm pretty much stopped cold, as attempting to increase thrust (F3 key) doesn't do anything. I just stay at idle thrust, not moving at all.Hope someone can help me here, as it does take a lil bit away from the whole flight experience Thanks for your help,orbmis

My question has to do with the AP on the Beech B1900D, both by PMDG and PAD models. On setting the NAV radios to the ILS freq. and initializing the APPR button on the AP, the aircraft captures the ILS heading without any problem. Now the question is: Should the APPR mode also maintain the GS path? I'm seeing both aircraft fall below the GS and not maintaining it. Or am I to disconnect the ALT and manually hold the GS?Thanks for any help.Jim D.

Ever notice that the green ILS feathers show up at different NM ranges depending on the panel using the default GPS?All it takes is editing the panel.cfg file as it applies to the GPS window.I have included an attachment to serve as an example.Don Billings

Hi all,Need some insight...........When using some 32bit aircraft textures eg AIA Boeing 737-800W Aeromexico (aia_738w_am_nc_sph.zip), there is a large amount of disk activity and fs9 crashes. When I use a non 32Bit texture I never get this error. In the Event log the following is recorded:Faulting application fs9.exe, version 9.1.0.40901, faulting module fe.dll, version 9.1.0.40901, fault address 0x0000326a.The disk activity seems to point to a file trying to be found but as for which one i don't know. :-hmmm This is only on some 32bit AI textures. Alternatively is there a non 32bit texture fot the 737-800W in Aeromexico colours available anywhere. Thanks as always :-)…

Hi everyone,Ref my previous posting about problems useing the Dreamfleet Boeing 727 for FS9 in Windows VISTA, the very helpfull Dreamfleet product support site run by Paul Golding & Steve Halpern was able to offer much if not all of the usefull information that helped me resolve this problem.Basicly to cut a long story short, the software appeared to install correctly but on selecting the aircraft in Create a New Flight, FS9 would imediatly Crash to Desktop.Paul suggested changing the folder permissions options as this can also cause problems with addon software. He also said that within Windows VISTA it is better to install FS9 to c:Flight simulator 9 and not the def…

I recently installed Fly Tampa's Seattle scenery and just noticed the elevation around FlightZone Portland has changed. I thought if I moved the PDX scenery and landclass to a higher priority than Seattle in the scenery library that would correct the problem. It did not. Any thoughts on this?Michael
