The reason.I installed Real Environment and then later FSeXcel. Some of the changes were extraordinary, but whether from these or not, I noticed one time flying into northern bush country, my trees were very sparse. I checked my autogen slider, and it was maxed. Somehow, I had lost my trees.Although the terrain looked better, there's nothing that can replace the trees when flying into some of the more difficult bush-country airports. The trees also have a tendency to make the mountains visually appealing as to the ones that are not all rock and ice as you can see the trees sticking up silouetted against the sky.I had to go back to the FS disks and get back my old textures…

Howdy...So i've had FS9 since it came out, and its been running on my machine since, with lots of addons and the like, but the errors and crashing and other problems got to be too much, along with not having the time to diagnose the problems, so I havent looked at it in over a year. Recently I opened it again and it was working nicely, except it still crashed often. Hi guys.I am seeking someone who is experienced in manipulating contact points as I have had no luck adjusting them on a School Bus which has flat tires - see attached picture.I understand the concept but for the life of me I cannot get the bus to sit properly on any surface. Just noticed this about this new release. Not sure if this is supposed to be like this or not, but there are no buildings around any of the 3 cargo parking areas. There is cargo and equipment, but no buildings!Otherwise good-looking scenery!Rick

I just built a new gaming computer Intel Duo Core 2 with 3 MHZ processer with 4 GB Ram & video card eVGA GeForce 9600GTThe problem that I have now is when the aircraft is parked on the runway with the brakes on the aircraft will slowly creep forward down the runway.It seems to be that somthing is to fast for FS2004 or a setting is wrong.Any Ideas what could cause this problem ?Thanks Scott

I'm having a problem with some of my 777's that has me puzzled. When I load an aircraft (MelJet 777), I can watch the horiz stab go to full pitch up position. I can readjust manually using the 7 (or 1) key on the keypad but by the time I get to the runway, the trim has returned to the full pitch up. This causes the acft to try to rotate before air speed is adequate to sustain flight. Normally I can figure things out but this one has me scratching my head. So, any ideas? Greetings all,Is it possible to get rid of the lighting effect on the ground when I turn on the landing lights and taxi lights? In specific I am trying to do this with the Flight 1 C172R. I will be replacing the effect with Shockwave lighting, but can not get rid of the default lights first.-Jeremy

Hi,Since the, with Squawkbox provided, VIP models look rather simple I tried to replace them with aircraft models of WorldOfAI.I succeeded to some extend (I do see the correct and replaced models), however none of the replaced models have undercariages/wheels.They simply float over the ground. Hi,Does anyone have a link to get the standard MS FS9.1 Image Tool Please.I was looking for it, but can't seem to find it.There is one that contains a scenery SDK, but it's over 10MB, but all I am after is the Image Tool itself, which did used to be available on its own.Thanks for any help with this.

On my installation, KNGU's runways and tarmac's are at 15' while the surrounding land is around 6'. Not good if you slip a wheel off the concrete.I believe it is due to an add on terrain and an afcad. Or, the priority as set in the scenery cfg. Remove the custom afcad and the airport is back to normal, but, without the 67 parking spots. I had at first thought that the fix I have added to my boot.ini file (/3GB /userva=2560, documented in various posts on AVSIM of course) was one of the best things I've done to my FS9 setup for some time - it certainly seems to have cured out-of-memory crashes.However, it is proving to be a bit of a mixed blessing: instead of FS crashing, ground textures now have started refusing to load as I approach the airport, I just get the kind of blur you'd get if you had arrived there ultra-fast, in slew mode; autogen/ city scenery struggles to load and aircraft turn remain silver - i.e. missing their livery - for up to a minute at a time in spot view, in spite of DXT3 bmps.. Greetings all,My wife and I just bought our first aircraft, a Cessna U206G with G1000 from a training center in northeast Florida. Naturally, I picked up the Carenado 206 and the G1000 from Mindstar. Unfortunately, I am having a problem with the G1000 that no one seems to be able to fix. Every time I load an aircraft with it installed, the FS9 will run fine for a few seconds, and then stutter horribly for a few seconds, and keep doing this over and over.
