Thought this might be a fun topic. :) How many entries do you have on your scenery CFG file? I have 387 entries and will be adding 5 or 6 some time this weekend.

Hi all. Here's my first post!I've been having a problem for a long time and I just can't figure it out.Some add-on panels I use with the game cause all of the textures aircraft exterior, buildings, ground, every texture to constantly refresh and the game to stutter. So it's like watching a slideshow. The default panels are fine, and some downloaded panels work ok as well.I'm at a total loss. Hi People,i am runing fs9 for several years - today i downloaded FAJS, everything went fine, then i left FS9 and wanted to rerun teh program - its starts fine but when i want to change the planes - over - it stops working. I got rid of FAJS - nothing changed - the program stops after a while and i dont know why.What can i do ?Please adive Marek from LOWW

I was always very impressed with the RFP-747-200. It not only accurately simulated the classic 747, but, in terms of the history of PC flight simulation, the RFP 747 will go down as a classic in its own right. After purchasing it back in 2004 and spending all of that time reading and studying the manual (it was big 300 plus pages if I remember right), I had a much deeper appreciation for heavies and PC flight simulation in general.I was pretty excited to see the ad for the CLS 747-200/300. How does it compare, in terms of systems and accuracy, when compared to the classic RFP 747? RH

Hi, after making no alterations that I am aware of when I last used fs9 yesterday...I have now lost the top menu bar in windowed mode.I can only access it using the ALT key, which you usually only have to use when in full screen mode. Anyone have the answer ? as I've tried everything to no avail.Russell.

Are there any good versions of Vancouver International Airport out there? I'd be interested in purching one if that's what it takes. The default version is a bit sparce.RH

I have an ifdg jetblue a320 and I have the common "purple line effect". Its very slight, but still how do I fix it? I dont want to upgrade to the flexing wings etc, I still want the normal, but how do I fix it? Im very disapointed. Please Repond!

Hi guys I have installed the wonderfull queen of skies Pmdg 747-400.but i have problems with it. Some times when i am controlling the aircraft , and i contact the ATC or when i am on final and just landed ,the game freeze. it goes blank . and then after a while the "don't send" message appear and the fs9 closed.that makes me mad. :@ :@beside that i find the game became slower when playing with the pmdg 747.I am using Windows XPpentium 4 , 3.2 g. 1 MB cacheVGa 128 mb .so , any helps how to get the 747 not freeze ?? :Sthanks alot guys

Hello,now I got the most appearing problem in FS9. I got the Information Out Of Memory and with VISTA it is not possible anymore to edit the boot.ini file which would solve the problem.Any users who got the same problem on Vista and know how to solve it?many ThanksBest Regards

Hello,on many websites you can read that the freeware version of fsuipc is able to change many setting (f.e. trafficzapper) but when starting my FSUIPC (Vers. 3.48) I got almost no setting I can change. I only can click on some buttons like Default Weather, Clear Weather and things like that.I see on many pics that FSUIPC got many pages where you can make changes. Hello all,I finally have a little time on the weekends so I am trying to enhance my ai. I already have Ultimate Traffic, the UGA stuff, lots of WOAI and a lot of misc stuff. I don't have time for a lot of manual installations but I do have time for some of the all-in-one auto install packages. Last weekend I took care of the MAIW packages that I have been meaning to install for the past year. Don't get me wrong, I know how to install everything manually but I just don't have the time. Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for some easy to install packages - maybe something exotic? I already have the AI Mexico stuff as well.

A couple of times I have posted that when scenery textures are placed low in the search hierarchy (such as in the Flight Simulator 9/texture folder vs. a scenery specific texture folder), I have observed a steady and pronounced memory leak in the simulator. It's been some time since I had seen this because I identified and moved all such textures to where they "belong".Well dang it if I didn't notice, after installing an add-on aircraft, that the same thing started to happen--especially when I switched liveries or switched views often. So bad to the extent that I burned up 250 megs of free memory (the aircraft had about 10 megs of textures in the common texture folder).…

I wanted to add my 2 cents to this topic of discussion but, there are a number of threads so rather than reply to one, I thought I'd start a new thread.I recently had been experiencing the OOM errors associated with some of the higher end aircraft. Specifically the PMDG 737 and the LDS 767. For the record, this is on FS9. Having tried and exhausted every trick in the book to eliminate the problem, I finally took the plunge on the 3GB switch. And toggles Sound Off. One of my addons has hooked it somehow -- probably Flight Deck Commander -- and now it's buried itself in the myriad of key commands in the FS9.CFG and now I can't get it fixed. Can anyone point me to where it might be and how I might fix it.I don't even see a "Sound Off" command under the "Options==>Controls==>Assignements" section of the menu!

Hi all, I'm looking to move back (yes back!) to FS9 for heavies flying and good airport scenery. Now the thing is, I haven't used FS9 for well over a year, so I can't really remember what addons are the base minimum to install for a great experience! And also, what order to install them in? My wife is Chinese and just went back to Qingdao to visit her family for 6 weeks. HA --So now I get to fly at home all I want :>))But I can't do much flying in China, at least from here. I know someone is working on the new Beijing airport. And I have found several uploads here at AVSIM of collections of Chinese airports. Basic 'simpler 'upgrades."But I was hoping for something "more". I have been experiencing CTDs especially on longer flights. I thought I read in previous postings that it may be in part to a new the FSUIPC.DLL. Can anyone help?TKS
