Hi allI've been using Radar Contact for a long time now, but just recently I've been on a GA/VFR binge, and RC isn't really geared for VFR. SO I thought I'd just use the default ATC for a change, but for some reason I can't get the window to show when I press the '`' key, nor can I hear them. I've got a sneaking suspicion that I changed a FSUIPC (registered) setting, and I've checked all the obvious settings in FS9 so I know it's not FS9 itself. Anybody got any thoughts?Cheers, SLuggy

Hi All,When panning in VC mode it is very jerky...it is ok when I stop but as soon as I pan again...jerkiness...I can pan fine in outside views...it's just VC mode this happens....I also get jerkiness with my Track IR even when still...but only with the aircraft moving....Strange eh???Any suggestions??Dave

What happened to the file? I searched the library to no avail.

I just bought the Aeroworx King Air B200 which is a very nice looking plane, but the autopilot does not seem to work. I have it set to GPS, but the NAV setting on the autopilot does not follow the GPS flight plan. The flight director seems to work but not the autopilot. Also the ALT SEL option does not work, I have selected my desired alt. on the alt set dial, but it just ignores it.Anyone have a clue how to get it to work?

Hi,Since a couple of days ago any control assignments which require the use of an item selection by number - such as the exit (Shift+E+number) or engine (E+number) select controls are not working properly. If I try to use either of the controls it will automatically default to assignment 1 and not give me any time to select a different item. So I can only select engine 1 or open exit 1. I first noticed the problem after installing new Saitek rudder pedals and have tried a few solutions. I have tried giving the two controls different key assignments which eliminate the need for Shift to be used (F9 for engines and F10 for exits) but that has not solved the problem. Has any…

Hello,I want to delete the PAI Blue1 because WoAI offers Blue1 now but I am not able to delete Blue1 as all PAI traffic is in one .bgl file. WoAI has for every airline its own .bgl folder but PAI not.How can I delete an Airline from PAI?

Hello all:I just bought Eaglesoft's newest release, the SR22G3 -- awesome plane! But - it has one little quirk; when you switch views (from cockpit to VC to spot) the CAPS control window comes up. Can anyone confirm this?I'm running FS9 on XP.

Read the headline on the front page, truly a disappointment. Though they will still support their existing FS2004 titles. their new projects will be FS-X only. Not enough to get me to switch to FS-X, but I appreciate Carenado's efforts for our community and their works for FS2004 will truly be missed.Regards,John

Upon entering Bermuda airspace today I was given an ATIS report that indicated skies were 'clear' when, in fact, there was a blinding T-storm in progress. The wind information was correct but the 'skies' condition certainly wasn't. I use Active Sky and it indicated the weather information was obtained from TXKF which is Bermuda and that the wx station was only 1 mi away. I run into this everyone once in a while. Anyone know the reason? Most of the time ATIS is pretty accurate but was way off on this one.

The description calls this a "pre-release", but since I was headed there tonight anyway I'm downloading and giving it a shot. Hi there.Today I performed my Virgin Atlantic 19 from EGLL to KSFO after I reinstalled my FS and all the Addons and encountered a strange texture problem at San Francisco. All the textures seemed to remain blurred, even the ones right underneath the plane. Ive searched but come up with nothing, Im seriously considering rc4 as its the only thing left missing in my fs9( I have ground enhancements, activesky, flight environment, a bunch of scenry installed, and just recently mastered the pmdg 747). I tried looking for help on FSDreamTeam's website but noone can help me..Every scenery or AFCAD that I download for KORD results in an overlap with the runways and this scenery. Can anyone help me?By the way, the only AFCAD for KORD is the FSDT one... I search in my FS9 folder for any file with "ord" and there's nothing relevant. I've even deleted the default KORD AFCAD file in the FS9/Scenery/NAMC/scenery folder.

Hello fellow simmers,I've just downloaded the HSP LGAV from the library and really loved it, very well made for a freeware airport. However, I think it's made mainly for online use. (I can't consider it as a bug after I've seen how good the scenery is) The problem is the following:The holding points for the RWYS 21 seem to be short of their clearance lines. I'm running AI at 100%, all of them got stuck there, I didn't observe any takeoffs at all. I had to wait for them to time out, when it was my turn I found out that T.O clearance came only when I passed a little bit the yellow line.Any advice on how to fix this, maybe AF2?, I really don't want to remove this add-on.TIA

Just an idea, but is there a gauge/utility in existance that can make the main (2D cockpit) view zoom out smoothly with increasing altitude?The point would be that on approach / ground I like to set something like 67% zoom but the whole experience looks much nicer up high when zoomed out to say 40%... A gauge that made this change in the background would be really neat... Probably it would simply set the zoom according to a table in an ini file or similar. Anyone heard of such a thing?Cheers,Geoff

Has anyone ever found a way to do this?There are many times I would like to download flight plans from the Plans board here or where I buy new programs with preset FS9 plans as part of their training material, but most of these are all in native FS9 .pln format. As it is now I have no way of getting them into FSNavigator so that I can use FSNs FMS and autopilot features.The only way I've ever found is to buy and use FSBuild as a conduit for the .pln file and export them to FSNav. I bought FSBuild solely for this reason but that procedure is mighty cumbersome -- and expensive!Thanks for any help you can provide!

Here is a lightning question. On my machine lightning appears like white flashing geometric shapes; rectangles, trapezoids and parallelograms. Is that how lightning should appear in the distance? Any thoughts, opinions or options greatly appreciated. Dave

Someone made a post on here a while back regarding removal of the Virtual Cockpit, using a Hex editor. I can't find my notes on this so I wonder if someone could tell me where to go with this. The Overland A320 has a VC which I would love to get rid of. I think you went into the model file but I'm not sure. Can you help? thanks
