Has anyone else noticed that the smoke/exhaust is very much misaligned? I'm not ever sure how to manage the adjustment to the cfg file but would appreciate any help/suggestions.

I have been toying with this payware Concorde for several weeks now and I just can't get it to start up. I've tried every procedure that I can, the engines try to start, but then they die. I know it's supposed to be realistic and all, but I won't ever know if I can start it up. I'm sure it's something I'm doing or not doing but it's not happening. I'd be happy to get it going with 'auto-start' but that isn't an option either. Any idears?

I've flown the last few years soley in the USA. Now, after joining a worldwide VA Cargo operation, I realize the World installation scenery is not installed. Is there an easy way to accomplish this without having to uninstall everything?

Hi,I hope I'm in the right forum! :)I've got the Suprunov Design Yak-40, but I've got an annoying issue with the engine audio. If I don't go to external view, the engine sounds are normal, but if I go outside, then switch back inside, the engine sounds are slightly louder and don't sound right.1) Does anyone know the cause?2) Can editing the sound.cfg file do anything for this?This problem also manifests itself if I right-click and the mouse context menu appears. Am an old FS hand but am stumped this time.Two problems:1. CTDs seemingly related to CPU overload i.e. complex planes, real weather, moderate AI levels. I can fly default Cessnas to my heart's content.2. I can load default flight at Tacoma but if I try to change the aircraft the program freezes. I had similar problems about 6 months ago and I did a fresh install after which the system seemed to be fine although I did not fly 3rd party planes much. I run in windowed mode. The only other thing which springs to mind is that the program takes an age to load to the initial 'create a flight' page.The system is not overheating. I have no duplicate AFCADs (checked with scanafd). …

Hi all I winder if anyone can help me - I have reached the end of my tether with this problem. it has been ages since I have had it and I think it is something that I have done to cause it. I like to do short multi leg trips and after reaching my first detination I shut down as usual and am running on APU however when I come to start the engines again for departure, they start OK but when I increase power for taxi only engine 1 (left engine) responds and the right engine remains at idle. Hi everyone i recently got fs2004 on vista and it works great. Just one thing, when ever i fly the aircraft that i choose does not have dynamic shine. i Bought the PMDG747 queen of the skys and it had no dynamic shine.( i happen to know that it has it it just doesnt work) so i was wondering if anyone knows why my aircraft on fs2004 dont have dynamic shine or just a normal shine Thanks!!!!! =)

I have posted this problem awhile back but didn't get any usable feedback, here's the problem.I recently un-installed cloud9 Amsterdam (trial) scenery, after that I wanted to start at Paris Charlles de Gaulle (addon) but FS9 would hang while creating scenery objects, I removed the scenery and reverted back to the default. After some time it would finally load but almost all of the scenery objects including the default C172 appeared white (regardless of time of day). I left it at that since I don't fly to Paris that often at all. Thanks to the people who've replied to my questions about this wonderful but v complicated aeroplane!One more...When setting the OBS control for navaids, it seems to increment in 10's ending in 5, so it will go from say 235 to 245 and back again which is no good if I want to set to 240 degrees. How do I make it increment in 5's or less?

Hello guys,I'm a new poster on this forum. I have an FS9 problem and I'm looking for some help. My problem is my kneeboard causes FS9 to crash! To be more precise, opening the kneeboard does not appear to be the issue. When I try to scroll down any of the tabs/pages on the kneeboard with my mouse, my screen turns black and FS9 shuts down. Hi guys. I recently upgraded my video card from a 32mb onboard video card, to a 256mb PCI GeForce FX 5500. I tested it with Counter Strike Source, as well as a couple of demos that I downloaded, (Pro Evolution Soccer 6, and FIFA 06). The graphics were beautiful, and I know the card works perfectly, like its supposed to. So I loaded up Flight Simulator 2004, and I increased the resolution to 1024 x 768. When the game runs, it has HORRIBLE graphics. It's as if there was absolutely no change at all, from my crappy 32mb video card. I've tried a lot of things, but I've been unsuccessful so far. I just took my new Jetline Systems XJET 780 SLI computer which has a Intel E8500 watercooled Duel Core Processor overclocked to 4.0 GHz and three(3) 512 MB GeForce 9800 GTX , PCle 2.0 video cards to drive my three (3) ViewSonic 22" LCD Monitors and on the front page of today's Avsim is an article for a faster Video Card and a 5.0-6.25 CPU. I'm already obsolete and I have not even turned my new computer on yet !!!!:(
