Hello, I am trying to use a 3rd party panel with the Captain Sim 757 Pro. I really bought it for the great external model and although the 2d panel and vc are great, they will take too long for me to learn to use. Please don't kill me for 1. buying this product and 2. not using the FMC.That being said, my goal is to have wing views and 2d panel w/cockpit side views. The panel I have has side views and it also will allow me to use the vc side views. I am fine with either. but I am having trouble with the eyepoint. I am not sure what I need to adjust.When the 2d panel loads, I am sitting too close to the ground. In addition, I can not get the 2d cockpit to line up with the …

Hi,For some reason, whenever I try to click anything on the screen while playing FS9, such as trying to grab and move the ATC window or grab one of the scrolling bars (like ATIS or AISmooth), the game closes all of a sudden.Anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it? Hello folks,I am tired of seeing lots of trees and huge woods in the scenery of iceland. In reality iceland consists of almost no trees.I was not able to find a freeware landclass that replaces the woods with more realistical landclasses without trees.Do you have any idea where to get an iceland landclass from?Many thanks for help

Well, I downloaded FS-Blaze and have used it for awhile(this program adds forest fires to FS). So, of course, I fly air tankers in the sim that drop fire retardant. Only problem is, is that when you are near a fire, the retardant effects dont work at all(they dont show up). So I found a tip stating that if you add the things in the "Smoke section" of the aircraft.cfg to the lights section of it, that it shows up. Sure enough, it works when near the fires! Now, the only problem is, is that I have to turn on the light that I assigned it for the effect to start coming out, which I do not like because I am all about realism. Hi all, As a user of Mega Heathrow scenery published by Aerosoft and designed by Simflyers I have just downloaded and installed a patch which fixes some incorrect gate numbering around the airport including T5.The patch is fine, and as expected have received a new AFCAD to relfect the change. The developer that changed the AFCAD also put in later touch down points for 1 runway as AI aircraft generally have short breaking distances, however the runway that he has done this to now means that AI aircraft miss most of the runway exits and spend longer before they reach a taxiway to vacate making this worse. Upon landing and contacting "airport" Ground, I am given a gate assignment ftom ATC. Most often the gate assigned is not of the livery of the aircraft I am flying, e.g. after landing at ORD with an AA aircraft, I am assigned to a gate at the United terminal, not at the American. Is there a way for ATC to assign a gate for the airline your are flying?Thank you,Don

No not frame rates again!In FS9 frame rates are generally tolerable, good in the cruise and not so at the take off and landings. I use only Wilco buses, Pss757/777 and detailed airports with MYT2006, ASV6.5, UTE/UTUSA. I have just noticed after years of running FS2004, that in the cruise or taxi on the ground,jumping from cockpit view to spot view and pressing the ALT key twice, the frame rate increases by ~20%.Changeing views back and to it goes again until I press the Alt key twice again. It is not hardware as I have just changed machines with a fresh installation. It was the same on the old machine.Any comments welcome. Thanks

I added the 'star' runway configuration to many of my multiple runway airports but I find that it sometimes is a bigger problem than just using the 'wind influenced' runways. First, I find when multiple runways are in use, you might encounter opposing traffic coming from the opposite direction such as with KIAD. You would think if runways 18L/R are in use, runway 12 would be also, but is not. So you have aircraft approaching runway 30 in your face and if you have to do a 'go around' this could cause a collision.In a STAR system, the flow in the air or on the ground does not always seem smooth. As a registered user for several years now, I've always wondered if something is possible with regard to flight controls being assigned in FSUIPC.I make all control assignments through FSUIPC but since I check the box where it says "aircraft specific" this means that those assignments apply only to that specifc aircraft and the current paint scheme. Now for the same aircraft I have a number of different paints or liveries but need to go through the entire assigment process for each livery or paint.Is there a method of taking the assignments already done and have them apply to another livery or paint for the same aircraft thus saving time in going through the assigment pro…

I have reinstalled some old georender sceneries and also just bought Georender Chelan Muni . The problem is that there is no ambient environmental sounds in the ones that should have this. I looked at the Lago menu at top in fs2004 and clicked the 'about VimaCore' and get this result;I have already added these two files :-------------------------newest 'ViMaPlay.DLL' to folder ....Flight Simulator 9LAGOCommon newest 'ViMaCore2004.DLL' to ....
